About: I’m a proud dog mom to two pups—one full of energy and the other a total couch potato—so I’m used to handling different personalities! I know how important it is to trust someone with your fur baby, and I treat every pet I care for like my own. I’m currently studying online for my real estate license, so my schedule is super flexible! I can easily adjust my day to fit your pet’s needs—whether that’s early morning walks, midday check-ins, or overnight stays. Your pet’s safety is my top priority. I know how hard it can be to leave your pet with someone else—that’s why I prioritize communication and trust. I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos, and I’m happy to accommodate any special requests or needs your pet may have.

About: I love all pets! I have two cats and a dog of my own that I love and cherish very much. I have also had and taken care of pets ever since I was five years old! I have experience with dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, gerbils, and fish; however, I am more than interested in learning how to take care of your pet if I do not have experience in taking care of that type yet. When I pet sit or walk your pet, I will make sure that I take care of them the same way that I take care of my own pets, with responsibility, safety, and love. I also have six years of house sitting experience. I am very good with plants and making sure that your house is taken care of while you are away. I cannot wait to be your sitter!

About: Growing up, I was the kid that would rather hang out with my pets than go hang out with other kids. I spend just about all day every day with animals, and that’s how I prefer it. I currently work in veterinary medicine and have 2 dogs and 2 rabbits of my own. If I am not with my own pups or at work, I am probably volunteering at an animal shelter. I have worked with all types of dogs, and have a soft spot for the knuckleheads, they’re usually just misunderstood in my opinion. I’d love to hang out with your furry friend, if I would like the right fit, I’d love to meet them! My top priority is making sure my pets aren’t just “cared” for, but truly loved and happy. Different pets have different needs & that is okay! There is no one size fits all in pet care. Some dogs are fine being couch potatoes, others want to explore every tree they can find!! I want to take care of pets how they need, not in whatever way is most convenient. I want to make sure your pet feels as comfortable as possible. Whether that is slow introductions or meeting with LOTS of treats. Their wellbeing is my top priority. Pets are truly family members and deserved to be cared for just as much. I strive to listen to pet parents and understand their pets quirks to help make it the best experience possible for all.

About: While I have cared for a number of my own pets over the years, I also held down a career as a veterinary technician. With this experience, I not only gained medical knowledge, but also gained experience in pet handling, behavior management, and responsive training. I currently work a full time position with open remote capabilities. I work five minutes from my home and can easily make regular trips to the house to provide extra outdoor breaks to any pet. I also am very active with my own lovable hound dog. We take regular evening walks and spend every morning basking in the sun in our fenced in backyard. I care for every pet like they are my own. I respect every pet parents wishes on the care and safety of their pet but will also allow them to have the freedom and comfort that they would have in their own homes. We live in a child free home with a fully fenced in back yard in a quiet suburban neighborhood that offers a peaceful and safe place to live and play.

About: I have taken care of animals since I was a little girl. I enjoy training commands and just spending time and playing with all animals in general. Each animal has their own personality and quirks and I love to discover that makes each animal unique. I currently work full time and am a dog mama of 2(11 years old and 6 years old) I have free time on evenings and weekends to care for your pals. I care for pets with the upmost care and respect towards the animals and their owners. My animals are my family and I will treat yours as the same.

“Sadie is my little Pomeranian. And I cannot leave her for hours on end as I work in healthcare. Storm is dedicated to showing Sadie attention when I am not there. Storm helps Sadie with anxiety adjustment while I am away by spending quality time walking her to her favorite places. I could not ask for any other person to help me show My dog such love and dedication! I appreciate all she does for Sadie, and recommend her services very highly!”

About: I’ve had animals in my life since I was born. I can do just about anything with fur and four legs. I often pet sit for my parents who have 9 pets. I was also a dog groomer at Petsmart. I work part-time in Oak Ridge, but live in the Powell/Karns area. My hours very from just under 40 to one or two days a week, mostly on the lower end. Other than that, I’m all yours! I have a fenced in front and back yard with a very social poodle and a big strong boyfriend to help if needed. I’ve got a couple of crates that’ll fit up to about a 60 lb dog. We’re crawling with toys and treats, which can be filtered through to find what’s best for you pup while they’re here. Two king sized beds for wind down time, too. Our poodle, Bing Bong, goes on a mile-long walk everyday that your pup can be included on. We can lengthen or shorten the walk depending on size and energy needs. I LOVE pet sitting and having visitors, especially of the fluffy variety!

About: My first ever job in high school was working for a doggy daycare, training, and grooming facility. This is where my love for animals of every kind bloomed, and i personally have a horse, two dogs, and a cat at my home away from college that I miss very much. At my knoxville home I adore taking my friend's dogs hiking and to the dog park to fulfill that itch of spending time with furry friends. I am a student doing rover part time during the summer and I volunteer at a hospital in town on Monday every week for two hours and an animal shelter with kitties for two hours every Thursday evening. I am very meticulous about maintaining the perfect care for my pets and yours. I understand how important these members of the family are, and I do very well when given a specific list. My love for the outdoors and hiking specifically complement the energetic pups, but I am just as happy to relax at home to study or read.

If they need any other types of care such as feeding, changing litter, administering medicine, that can be done as well. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with me to discuss the care you require! I am available anytime of the week. Multiples visits per day if needed! Regularly scheduled weekly visits are available as well, typically for clients that need their dog walked. I will care for your pets the same way I would care for mine. About: (PSA - I’m getting married! 😅 In December, I’ll be closing my account here to focus on being a wife and pursuing my writing/marketing career. If you already have my number and don’t mind a married couple watching your pets, we will be more than happy to serve you if our schedule allows! The below agreement will still apply, of course; there’s just a second set of hands. 🥰) Home/Pet Owner Satisfaction Agreement: - My personal motto is "Leave it better than you found it." - Your home will be taken care as if it was my own. - I will do light cleaning and even landscaping if needed, so your home stays well kept. - Your pets will receive the attention they deserve. - I will do my absolute best to make sure their daily routine stays the same as if you were home. - I will send you all the pictures and updates, so you can have peace of mind that your pets are happy, safe, and well taken care of. - If you ask me to do something, it will get done. - When you return home, you'll be able to rest immediately because your home will be clean and your pets happy (though definitely excited to see you again!). I always don't trust people easily, and I usually rely on myself a lot to get things done. So it'd be scary for me to have a stranger taking care of my home and pets. I'd worry constantly over my furry family. That's why I try to immediately put you at ease during our initial conversation and respect your home and pet(s). I grew up with pets (hence the 20 years of experience), so I am definitely an animal lover. I've also house/pet sit here on Rover and by word-of-mouth referrals for two years now and already have 30 reviews of pleased home and pet owners. After reading the reviews on my profile and browsing the photo gallery (Get ready for cuteness overload and not from me!), here's how you can work with me: 1. Send me a message. 2. In that message, tell me about your pets, their needs, and what dates you'll be gone. 3. We'll adjust the pricing if needed. 4. Before finalizing the booking, I will meet you and your pet(s) in your home for you to walk me through the daily routine and see if we're a good fit. 5. If both parties agree, we confirm the booking. It's that easy! Thank you so much in advance for trusting me with your home and pet(s)! In return, I will strive to take the best care of your home and pet(s). So that you won't loose any sleep worrying if they're okay or not. That way, you can actually enjoy your vacation or fully focus on business and/or family while you're gone. I work remotely full time as a writer, freelance marketer, and conscious marketing coach, so my schedule is extremely flexible. I’m completely available any day for whatever you need and will be able to give your home and pet(s) the attention they deserve. I will follow whatever instructions you give to a t. As a creative person, my brain can be scattered, but having instructions in a text or list help a ton. That way, you have utmost peace of mind that your home and pet(s) are receiving the best care!

Michaela S.
“Michaela has a huge heart for animals, especially dogs. She is currently in college on a pre-veterinary track, and has worked at multiple animal hospitals as a vet tech and receptionist. As the owner of two dogs, her pets have been a number one priority. She ensures her dogs have the correct diet and supplements, and makes sure her dogs have enough exercise. She also makes sure her dogs have play time, walks, training, and food puzzles, and has started getting them involved in dog sports. Mallory P.
“As Mallory’s mother, I have watched her with animals all her life. She loves animals of all kinds and has had a plethora of pets- from dogs and cats to beta fish, ferrets and rabbits. Taking care of animals seems to come naturally to Mallory. I’m not going to lie, when Mallory was a child, I wasn’t completely on board with the idea of a ferret joining our household. However, she convinced her father and I with a thorough explanation of how to care for those critters from a library book that she’d checked out of the school library. As an adult, Mallory continues to love and care for animals. Her baby, Bing Bong, is a standard poodle who has the best life of any pet I know! He eats only the best food and vitamins (well researched by Mal) and even has regular lessons in socialization. In short, Mallory is the best, most caring animal lover I know!”

Chloe H.Star Sitter
“I can't say enough out Chloe and her love for animals. Not only does she have several of her own that she loves but she loves each and every one she comes in contact with. Chloe really gets to know your pets by spending time with them. Chloe is great with walking and keeping your dogs entertained while you are away. If Chloe is available during the time you are looking you are in luck!!!”

Karen G.
“Karen is without a doubt the most trustworthy person to take care of your babies! A lifetime of experience caring for rescue animals of all kinds gives karen the knowledge to care for cats and dogs. Rescuing her own dogs gives Karen the patience and understanding to connect with your animals. I know my two dogs are always happy, healthy and safe with Karen. Thank you for your incredible work ethic, unwavering support and the unconditional love you have for my babies.”

Sierra L.

“Sierra was absolutely wonderful with Bear! She was exactly what I need to have a worry free day.”
