“Lots happened while we were gone and Heather was great. She kept us updated so we didn't have to worry about things or come home early to check on things. More than a pet sitter.”

“Sharon did a great job taking care of our pets for a week. It's obvious that she really cares for the pets and goes the extra mile to make sure they're happy and safe. She also leaves everything neat and tidy. I highly recommend her as a pet sitter!”

“Heidi was amazing! We had never used a pit sitter before and were super nervous about leaving our two pups. Heidi was so friendly and loving with our two dogs! She made us feel so comfortable and confident that we made the right decision! She updated us during each visit and even sent pictures! Highly recommend Heidi!!”

“Brittany was great with our 4 cats! I have two particularly nervous cats and she worked with them to get them to eat. I loved the updates and pictures during visits.”

“I do not have enough good things to say regarding the outstanding job Michael did taking care of my GSP, Ruger. He is a very high strung, routine oriented dog that does not like change. Michael followed my notes and training commands, took charge and the visit went smoothly. You could immediately discern Michel’s knowledge, experience and expertise working with dogs.”

About: Hi! I’m a total dog lover who has been caring for animals since I was 13 years old. For over six years, neighbors and friends have trusted me for pet sitting and dog walking. I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities, and I truly enjoy getting to know what makes each pup unique! I currently work part-time, which allows me to have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I’m very active and already take multiple walks each day, so incorporating dog walks into my routine is a natural fit. I have a fenced in yard and live next to a big piece of land for plenty of running around. I don’t have any pets currently living with me.
About: I have experience with animals since I could walk. In my personal life I would best describe my passion as a certified collector of strays (cats , dogs, birds and insects . The list is very long :) . In my professional experience I’m very exposed to the knowledge and unique design in caring for animals . STORY TIME : * ****I met a pit bull ****At the age of 17 I went to one of my first parties with my friend ( I was still very shy and reserved, but was looking to dismantle my comfort zone ). I had a bad time and unfortunately I was followed walking on my route and hoped to just make it back home in the same pieces that I came with lol . Anyways I approached a dark neighborhood on my path and only two streetlights worked and sarcastically I was excited to be walking under one the moment I locked eyes with THEE most Beautiful & intimidating Pit Bull I’d ever been blessed with eyes to see and a body to run that couldn’t move and was actually not breathing to well either 😅So I did what any rational human would in this situation and called her and told her to come here “sweetie” and she Bolted towards me … arms out stretched shaking in my wee lil boots I prayed lol and she jumped up on my shoulder and licked my face and I was at awe 🥹. She walked me home (2miles) and we actually got stopped by a couple who told me I have a beautiful dog and I explained she wasn’t mine and asked if they wanted to try and keep her but she never left my side . I’ve never felt so safe and happy all at once at 12 midnight imagine what love can do !!! I lived in that same area for three extra years and never seen her again . The End My professional experience consists of working side by side as an acting vet assistant where I learned to chip dogs , feed them medicine, clean kennels, walk them and feed them their food . I also worked as a canine coach where I oversaw 1-28 dogs at a time play with them talk to them prevent them from being in danger making it the best environment possible . I aspire to build my abundance in what I love and that’s more love the definition manifested in all creations especially ones with big beautiful baby eyes and youthful hearts Animals :) Hi I’m Ta Manda and I’m your PETS NEW BESTIE🦄❤️🎁!! ( so cheesy and I love it lol) I am currently invested in becoming independent, I am open to gaining more experience so other than Uber I’m all yours ❤️ please just reach out :) I love forming lasting bonds with the pets I care for and would be thrilled to stay connected and visit them even after my services are complete. I believe that doctor dolittle was inspired by Myself so honestly I do have conversations with them down to moths I believe they are listening and if you’re still enough you can tell they understand you .
“Jadyn was absolutely amazing with our pups. She was very flexible, and always showed up on time or even before she was asked to be there. Our elderly dog is pretty specific about who he lets come around him, and it seems like he had a good time with Jadyn!😁Will definitely be using her again, thank you for a wonderful experience Jadyn🫶🏻”

“We appreciate Tiana so much! She paid extra attention to our kitties while we went on vacation for 10 days. We know how much our kitties appreciated the time she spent with them. Tiana also gave extra attention to other things that we needed help with in the house while we were gone. We will be contacting her again for future house/kitty sitting!”

About: I have taken care of pets for my parents, my friends, and family members. I started at just 12 years old with my parents dogs, when they weren’t around. I also took care of my friend’s dog when she would leave town. I always grew up with dogs and only knew about them. Until 3 years ago when I got two cats from a close friend. Now I have a great understanding of cats and I know their needs. I love cats and dogs very much and love taking care of them both. Your pet will be in good hands with me. I have plenty of time on my day to care for animals. I already have my 3 that I am used to caring for. I am confident I can take care of other animals with their own needs. In my home I will keep animals separated if need be. I can also keep them together if they get along well and can play. When going to someone else’s I will be respectful of their home and make sure no animal goes outside without leash. I will also keep the animal wherever they are comfortable in their own home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
