“Frances & her family were the perfect ones to take my Sadie for a week while I was away! They were able to make her feel at home and entertained enough so that she wasn’t miserable, like if she had to stay at a kennel. Plenty of treats and snuggles shared with fenced in yard to get out some energy. It was great to get daily updates to know how she was doing, and happy to know she warmed up after the first night of being in a new place. Will definitely book again if needed :)”

“When we found ourselves in a pickle, we turned to Rover to find a trustworthy, dog educated person to watch our female GSD Stiorra. Not only were we searching last minute but we needed someone who was comfortable and had experience with females in heat. Ofcourse our girl would go into heat when we have nonrefundable tickets. “Debra was absolutely amazing! She truly enjoys dog sitting and it showed thru her genuine excitement to care for our Goldendoodle after our meet-n-greet. It honestly felt like leaving our dog at Grandmas. She took our dog in on Christmas Day and even got him a present. She even shared some of her Christmas dinner ham with him (after asking for permission of course). Debra genuinely loves caring for dogs. She sends updates and photos throughout the day. We’ve never left our dog with a dog sitter before and she put us at ease after meeting with her. We couldn’t be happier with the care she gave our needy and active Goldendoodle. During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Bravo home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Bravo.

You and your Bravo sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
