“I am so glad we found Monique! Our dog, an Australian shepherd called Zorro, doesn’t like to be handled by other people, so it was always stressful leaving him with dog sitters. We were even forced to cut one of our previous trip short because he would refuse to go outside on a leash and would not let putting a leash on him at all. This time I specifically looked for a boarding option with a fully fenced backyard and Monique’s place was a perfect match. We first left Zorro with Monique and her boyfriend for a few days as a trial and next time for the full two weeks. Monique and Anthony both seem very professional and know how to take care of dogs. We were finally able to relax during our vacation abroad knowing our dog is fine! Just so you know, even though Monique does not walk with dogs (it is only provided on a case by case basis for an extra fee), but she let them hang out in the backyard as much as they want. The backyard is decent in size and has a shade. For us it was perfect - no need to be dealing with the leash! We were offered to pay extra for our dog to be taken on a hike nearby, but we never used it. Monique sent us photos of our dog every day and shared some videos. Thank you very much Monique, we will come back again and I would recommend your services to anyone!”

I am currently on sabbatical, so am home all day! Schedule is flexible, I take my own dog on 3 40 minute walks a day and to a field to play fetch at least once. Hiking is usually once or twice a week. I choose to care for other people's pets like they are my own, I absolutely love animals and don't see it as a chore but something I enjoy!

About: I work primarily from home throughout the week. This gives me the time needed to care for anyone's pet to ensure a safe, fun environment. I dog sat for 2 years prior to my new full time role. I'm sure my dog would love to make new friends as well! I live in a dog friendly community, dog park nearby, have a fenced courtyard, riverwalk in walking distance as well. I take my dog for at least one long walk (about an hour) per day and two other times aside from that. I make sure he doesn't eat any food scraps, anything from ground outside that could be harmful either. Smoke free and alcohol free home. Can also ensure any diet or food allergies are monitored appropriately.
