About: I started taking care of neighborhood dogs and cats when I was six years old with my parents. I’ve been trusted since I was ten to care for dogs and cats of a wide variety of sizes, ages, and breeds. I have a big heart for big dogs but I really do love all pets. I will give your buddies lots of love and pets :) I’m super loving, and I also make sure that they behave well. I will work on responsiveness and good behaviors (positive reinforcement based) if you’d like. I have a good bit of experience training basic commands and walking, so I enjoy helping with that. My work schedule allows me to leave at nine and be back around three to three thirty every weekday, and my weekends and evenings are fairly flexible. I live a pretty active lifestyle and work occasionally outside my day job. I won’t be able to be around for long periods of time each day but typically with house sitting can provide at least 3 hours of good attention and time throughout a weekday and 4-5 on a weekend. I am a tidy and clean person, I leave everything the way it was found if not better! I love to be outside with dogs and take them on frequent walks or to dog parks/green spaces.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs for most of my life! I have experience caring for untrained puppies and feel confident caring for dogs of any shape or size. I am a college student who is back home for the summer and whose schedule is blissfully free! I am able to provide pet care at all hours and can easily work it into my routine! I currently live at home with two large dogs (Labrador and a golden retriever) along with two cats. The backyard is fully safe and fenced and the suburb I live in is dog friendly and totally walkable.

About: I’ve taken care of my own pet household for 45 years, also friend's pets, and neighbor's pets. I own 4 of my own, one being a senior dog. I lost my 30-year job with the state during the pandemic, but currently work in downtown Jackson from around 730 am till 430 pm. I can come in late and walk your dog in the morning, I just can’t walk your dog during lunch. I’ll be happy to care for your pet in YOUR home - I'm not able to take care of more animals in mine :D . I can house sit overnight if need be. Animals trust me and yours will too.

About: I have had a menagerie of pets - from red-bellied newts to Nigerian dwarf goats - my whole life. I have 9 years of past professional animal care experience as a Veterinary Technician. I know what an important part of our families our furry (scaly, feathered...) are, and how difficult it can be to have to leave them when away from home. I want to help alleviate some of that stress to both pets and their owners and am happy to care for domestic pets and livestock. I am comfortable caring for special needs and administering medications. I am not working outside of the home currently, so I am pretty flexible in my availability for house sitting or daytime care. Just let me know what you are looking for and I'll let you know if I can accommodate! I am unable to care for pets in my home, but am happy to come stay at your home or to make visits to provide company to your pets and/or walks for them while you are away. I have some experience as a housesitter and a pet sitter; I make sure I keep your house as I found it and of course clean up any pet bathroom accidents.

“I've hired Dessiray a couple of times, and based on my experience, she is kind, caring, and very responsive. Her notes and photos are thorough, which is always appreciated. If there are any details that matter to you, be sure to specify in the instructions. For example, I didn't specify that the litter scoop should be placed back in the corner of the litter box so it was instead placed in my coffee table. It's hard to realize what details matter until someone does something different, so just be careful to think through everything. If you do, she'll do everything you ask! She was even very flexible and understanding when my trip plans changed. My cat has some digestive issues and Dessiray did an excellent job taking care of her in that and keeping me updated.”

About: I have had Pets throughout my whole life. I have raised puppies, and took care of old senior dogs. I love dogs and love being around them. I currently go to school for an hour and a half each day so I have a lot of time to take care and watch over dogs. I have a big yard where my dogs can run around and play. About: Hi! I'm Sam, a full time law student and lover of all animals, both big and small (but especially big!) For all of my life, I can't think of anything I loved more than animals. The only reason I couldn't become a veterinarian was because I couldn't imagine seeing animals suffer! I grew up with a weenie dog, Juanita, who is now 15 years old! I have a pup of my own, Mateo (6yrs), a Black Mouth Cur mix, and a kitty, Milos (2yrs), a tuxedo. They are both rescues, and are my heart and soul! Mateo loves playing with other dogs, especially at the park, and does extremely well with cats (he's honestly kind of intimidated by them lol). Since I'm a student, my schedule is pretty flexible. I also live right by the Reservoir, so I take Mateo (and can bring your pup, too!) to Lakeshore and Pelahatchie Shore parks often. I also have experience in administering medication to both cats and dogs, and working with senior animals. I can give baths to dogs and cats, and give them some pampering! Finally, you can be positive that I will love your fur babies just as my own. I am a firm believer that animals are the greatest gift life can give, and I would love to help! I am a full time student in my last year of law school, so I have a pretty flexible schedule. I am done by the early afternoon most days, and have a wide open schedule on weekends! I have a fenced in yard (although I don't like to keep pups out there with the heat and such), and have a pretty chill home environment. If I am caring for your fur babies in your home, I will of course be respectful of your space and make sure they are happy and comfortable!
