So Shelley comes every week during my morning bible study. This regular visit allows me to focus on my other responsibilities so that my heart is ready for meeting with my group and Jesus without being so stressed that I resent the pooch for needing so much attention. She's a great dog, but sometimes requires more focus, energy, and time than I'm able to give. The weekly break has proven to be a great investment. About: I currently have two dogs of my own. I've had pets my entire life. I had dogs and cats growing up but I'm allergic to cats so I don't have any now. I had guinea pigs at one point as well. I love animals more than I can put into words. I like animals better than I like people. 🤷‍♀️ I dog sit for my sister and roommate all the time. About: I have been taking care of dogs, in my household and for family friends. About ten years ago I started watching dogs and cats in high school for people who used the same vets office as I did. I have done overnight stays, walks, drop ins, and taken them to veterinary appointments. I have a senior dog at home and have taken him through puppy, intermediate and advanced training. As I mentioned, he is in his senior years so I spend a large majority of my time taking him for short walks in the cooler mornings and making sure he has the best senior years possible. :) I work from home and have a flexible schedule, so pet care is the majority of my daily and weekly routine. Outside play and walking are how I spend my mornings, and when it starts to heat up I focus on preparing treats and that stimulate the pets minds and keep them entertained without over heating. In the cooler weather if the dogs like to be outside we take longer walks or soak in the sun like my senior pup. Depending on the clients home, I am fine with crating them to be safe and make sure they are not getting into things in between drop ins. I have extensive leash training for dogs so walking will not be an issue. If there is a fenced yard I am happy to play games with them and run around.

About: I currently work at a vet clinic as a vet assistant. I have to make sure the animals are clean and that their cages are too and do any other kennel work. As well as putting owners and their pets in rooms before the vet sees them and I also will assist when anyone asks me whether it is just holding a dog, or drawing blood, etc. I own a cat here at college and 3 dogs back home. I’m currently a student at Mississippi State. But have a lot of off time when not in class. And especially during the summer I can give your pets a lot of attention. I currently have 3 dogs, a cat, and a turtle. I regularly feed my pets. I let out my dog regularly to go to the bathroom. I clean out my turtle tank regularly as well. I also have to give my dogs medicine regularly and clean out my dogs ears. I also will bath then regularly. I have a cat that stays with me at college too.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 11yo. I’ve cared for Australian Shepherds, Poodles, Rat Terriers, Cairn Terriers, Papillions, Irish Wolfhounds, Pit Bulls, Bichon Frisés, and more. I have four dogs now: German Shepherd Mix, German Shorthaired Pointer, and two Pembroke Corgis. I’m familiar with small and large dogs. I’m non-judgmental and understanding if your baby has separation-anxiety. I work 8AM to 4PM Monday through Thursday, but am free to watch your babies in the evening and Friday through Sunday. I provide drop-in visits and house-sitting. I have a fenced-in yard, two crates and four dogs all ready to be their new best friend! I do prefer to watch them in your home, not mine as I have one dog that isn’t the most friendly.

About: My name is Hannah, but I go by Mikki. I have had pets since I was 15 years old and they have ranged from cats, dogs, and the exotic! I have a serious love for all the different types of fur-babies and am a proud pet parent myself! I’m the purrfect fit if you love someone enthusiastic about animals and their care, someone who is strict with rules and restrictions, and someone who is flexible! I have worked in a pet boarding type facility in the past and carry much experience wrangling dogs of all sizes and in all group sizes, with all different types of personalities. I also have a dog and cat myself. My daily schedule involves me waking up and letting my dog out while preparing their breakfast. After they eat, we get some snuggles in until it’s time to go potty. Later on, it time for dinner and then a nightly walk 30 minutes to an hour after dinner has been served. That ends our adventure for the day! For Drop-Ins: I stop by for feedings and enrichment for between 30 minutes to an hour. I make sure they care squared away and everything is locked up before I leave. For Walks: It’s simple … we just go for walks. 30 minutes to an hour or whatever set path and time per appointment. For House-Sitting: I set a time for me to come over. I stay for the duration of the appointment set and bring my own necessities so that I don’t have to leave the premises. I stay within your home, where your babies are most comfortable, and provide them with company and a set schedule. Before I confirm a booking, I will ALWAYS set up a meet-and-greet. I need to be able to sit down with the fur-babies and parents so we can get a good view of the vibes and to see if I would be a good fit. These meet-and-greets are NOT OPTIONAL and refusal will result in a CANCELED BOOKING! Sitting should be a comfortable experience for pet, pet parent, and sitter. Checking the vibes and getting details is critical for success.

About: I have five cats and a dog currently and am always looking to play or help take care of a furry friend. I have previously worked in a daycare as well which helped me get a lot of experience in caretaking. I am not a permanent employee anywhere and have a flexible schedule so i’m able to work my plans around the needs of any pet. All work is either online or gig based so I am always available! I have the energy to keep up with hyper dogs but i also love the lazy dogs/ cats who just want me to pet them and hang out around them. whether your pet needs a workout or a nap session, i can keep up with it!

I have hands-on experience with dogs, cats, and farm animals through my work as a kennel technician, farm hand, and animal caretaker. About: Hello! I have grown up with animals all my life. I am very much a dog person and love them like my own family. My favorite part is playing with them so that they sleep super soundly at night. I know how to teach your dog some tricks and show them a lot of love. I am extremely patient and have taught several dogs to be housebroken and how to sit, shake, and lay down. I have been dog sitting for others for a little over 6 years now. I am very confident in my abilities with dogs and how to handle them. I have been around them my whole life and know how important they are to everyone’s lives if cared for properly. I do currently work full time and am currently studying to take my Boards to become a licensed physical therapist. I am able to do mid day potty breaks if close enough to my work. Otherwise, I will make sure that your pet is well taken care of in the morning and evenings. I care for each dog/pet as if they were my own.
