“She watched all 3 of our dogs in her house one is a Great Dane who is very clumsy and big. My lab mix is very skittish and she was patient and kind. Toward the end of their stay he had even started to hang out with her which is a big thing for cow. My dogs really enjoyed hanging out with her dogs, especially Remi who immediately wanted to play with my dogs. Overall I think they had an awesome time.”

I’ve dog/cat/house sat for many people many times and I’ve built a connection with each human and animal different than any other. I work as a caretaker, so I’m available at different times, but it’s flexible. Right now, I would be available for 3 visits a day and would only be away from the house during house sitting about 4 hours a day. When caring for a pet, I try to read their expressions to understand what they need/want. I will keep them entertained when they want to play and leave them alone when they want to be left alone. About: I’ve always had pets around me while growing up and I always watch my grandmothers dogs while she’s away and I watch a family friends pets when she’s on vacation. I also played a part in helping my grandmother train her dogs some basic commands to make her life a little easier. I am working two jobs now Monday-Wednesday I work 7am-4pm Saturday is usually 7am-4pm as well If your dog will not be able to handle being left in alone for 9 hours while I’m at work please let me know. About: I have been taking care of dogs, in my household and for family friends. About ten years ago I started watching dogs and cats in high school for people who used the same vets office as I did. I have done overnight stays, walks, drop ins, and taken them to veterinary appointments. I have a senior dog at home and have taken him through puppy, intermediate and advanced training. As I mentioned, he is in his senior years so I spend a large majority of my time taking him for short walks in the cooler mornings and making sure he has the best senior years possible. :) I work from home and have a flexible schedule, so pet care is the majority of my daily and weekly routine. Outside play and walking are how I spend my mornings, and when it starts to heat up I focus on preparing treats and that stimulate the pets minds and keep them entertained without over heating. In the cooler weather if the dogs like to be outside we take longer walks or soak in the sun like my senior pup. Depending on the clients home, I am fine with crating them to be safe and make sure they are not getting into things in between drop ins. I have extensive leash training for dogs so walking will not be an issue. If there is a fenced yard I am happy to play games with them and run around.

I also have a dog and cat myself. My daily schedule involves me waking up and letting my dog out while preparing their breakfast. After they eat, we get some snuggles in until it’s time to go potty. Later on, it time for dinner and then a nightly walk 30 minutes to an hour after dinner has been served. That ends our adventure for the day! For Drop-Ins: I stop by for feedings and enrichment for between 30 minutes to an hour. I make sure they care squared away and everything is locked up before I leave. For Walks: It’s simple … we just go for walks. 30 minutes to an hour or whatever set path and time per appointment. For House-Sitting: I set a time for me to come over. I stay for the duration of the appointment set and bring my own necessities so that I don’t have to leave the premises. I stay within your home, where your babies are most comfortable, and provide them with company and a set schedule. Before I confirm a booking, I will ALWAYS set up a meet-and-greet. I need to be able to sit down with the fur-babies and parents so we can get a good view of the vibes and to see if I would be a good fit. These meet-and-greets are NOT OPTIONAL and refusal will result in a CANCELED BOOKING! Sitting should be a comfortable experience for pet, pet parent, and sitter. Checking the vibes and getting details is critical for success.
About: I started working with animals about 2 1/2 years ago for a friend and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I've had dogs my entire life. I currently have a German shepherd mix and 2 cats. My schedule recently is super flexible, so I am able to work around many specific hours. The only times I would most like to keep open is weekends. I have dog sat in others homes many times. I take the dog on walks, potty, play time, and if wanted cuddle time! I also clean up any mess made by myself or the dog and do cleaning when I see needed. About: Hello! My name is Sophie Allen and I am an avid animal lover! I have grown up with and around animals my entire life and spent many years volunteering at shelters and caring for them! I would be thrilled to look after your fur baby or babies if you need me! I am currently on summer break so very free! However, I will be doing a study abroad May 31-June 22! Other than that I am free! I am a very safety conscious person and have spent many many years taking care of animals and ensuring they are safe and loved! I will follow any and all rules!

About: Hey there! My husband and I have very flexible full time jobs. We both work from home twice per week so we can make any bookings work for you! We’d prefer a 1 day notice but are open to same day bookings. We love animals and have 2 cats of our own. My husband has had dogs his entire life and we love getting our dog time in as a household of only cats lol! If you’re comfortable with it, we like visiting together but at times it will just be one of us depending on the schedule. We can’t wait to meet you and your fur babies! We both have flexible, full time jobs. We both work from home twice per week so we can make any schedule work! We accept same day bookings as well. We will interact with your pet the way we would our own. I’ll ask them how they’re doing and I’ll listen to what they have to say lol! We will follow any specific instructions you provide as well.
About: Hello! As a fellow animal lover, I have 4 pets, worked at two dog daycares and volunteer at a sanctuary farm! I’ve taken care of all animal ages and am well-versed in those with special care. Please send any and all questions! I am completely free from my full-time job on the weekends. I also have Tuesdays available for those spontaneous trips or emergencies! I may have an appointment scheduled on a Tuesday or volunteering Saturday morning, but I’m super flexible. It can always subject to change. Safety and love are the most important to me. I also understand routine is to be kept up with. I’ll be sure to treat and love them as my own!
About: I’ve always had pets around me while growing up and I always watch my grandmothers dogs while she’s away and I watch a family friends pets when she’s on vacation. I also played a part in helping my grandmother train her dogs some basic commands to make her life a little easier. I am working two jobs now Monday-Wednesday I work 7am-4pm Saturday is usually 7am-4pm as well If your dog will not be able to handle being left in alone for 9 hours while I’m at work please let me know. Unfortunately will not be able to let them out during my break at work unless you are in Smyrna and located close to where I work. Thursday, Friday and most Sundays I am free to stay and look after them all day long unless I have plans. I am able to do anything needed to keep your fur baby happy and healthy while you are away. Including giving them any medication they may need

“It was the 1st time I had ever used Rover.com and Alyssa and she was fantastic. At first I was concerned sending my new pup to a stranger but when we had our meet and greet I knew Alyssa would be great with Shelby. Alyssa was wonderful in sending pics and videos on a daily basis to assure me that my girl was doing just fine, running/playing a lot and great about communicating right away if you should have any questions or concerns. “She watched all 3 of our dogs in her house one is a Great Dane who is very clumsy and big. My lab mix is very skittish and she was patient and kind. Toward the end of their stay he had even started to hang out with her which is a big thing for cow. My dogs really enjoyed hanging out with her dogs, especially Remi who immediately wanted to play with my dogs. Overall I think they had an awesome time.”

“We made plans for a short weekend trip and needed someone to keep our Bella for that time. Kenneth took care of her and we are overall satisfied with his service. He made all the necessary questions during the meet and greet, let us see his place and was very open answering all our questions. Bella came back home worn out after playing and running around his fence yard with the other dogs for two days. The real test will be her reaction when we take her again to Kenneth’s house, but I think she’ll be happy to go. Thank you!”
“Krista kept my black lab (Charlie) for almost two weeks while we were on a long vacation. She also went to my home for several drop-in visits with my cats during that same time. We were so blessed to find her! She took such good care of all the animals and communicated with me throughout their time with her, sending me pictures and reassuring me that all of them were doing well. Charlie loved Krista and all three of her kids. He fit right into their home and family. Even my cats came to visit and enjoy the attention during check-ins with them. I highly recommend Krista. She is understanding, reliable, and very accommodating with individual situations. We will definitely be requesting her as a sitter for Charlie and a caregiver for our kitties on future vacations and other times we need to be away from home.”
