About: As a pet lover, I know they’re not just pets — they’re family. That’s why I’ll give your pets the absolute best care, just like I would my own. I’ve pet sat during the day and overnight, and I’ve walked and checked in on pets several times. I understand that every animal has their own unique needs. What sets me apart is that I’ve owned a variety of pets throughout my life — dogs, cats, birds, and reptiles. I’m also always willing to learn and adapt to make sure your pets get the care they deserve. My main job is seasonal, so I’m currently free at the moment to help any pet owners during the busy summer months. Check my calendar for my flexible hours! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’ll work closely with you to understand their needs and make sure they’re cared for with the same love and attention you’d give — even while you’re away.

About: I have spent many overnights at homes while providing pet care. The durations of these stays have been up to a week. I do very well with following clear directions for feeding, medications, as well as other pet care needs. This includes affection and playing— I absolutely love dogs and cats! I am a teacher, which of course is a very busy job. However, I do not work over the summer, which means I have lots of flexibility in these months. I am also available during most weekends! I care for pets in my clients’ homes by following instructions regarding feeding, medications, going outside, as well as anything else that may be necessary! When owners are gone, I recognize it is best for the pets to keep their routines as consistent as possible! I respect any rules clients may have for their pets (e.g. where around they house they are allowed, any dietary limitations, and any necessary precautions to take so that the pets stay safe!)

About: My mother is a veterinarian with her own practice, so I grew up around an abundance of animals and know plenty about caring for them. My career allows me to choose my own schedule, I don't usually have shifts longer than 5/6 hours long. This allows me to take dogs out for walks or to a dog park, or I can just go home and hang out with my cat. I have a large fenced in yard with access to woods, plenty of local trails for dog walks, local lake of your dog likes to swim. Dogs and cats in my home, but there's a good sized guest bedroom that is kept closed of from the rest of my home if you have a pet that is less friendly with others.

About: I raised/trained a puppy several years ago, and I've been pet sitting since I was 14. I am also a very active person, and I love running, walking, and playing outside with dogs. I have work shifts no more than a few hours on select days. If your dog cannot be alone for a few hours, I can almost certainly find a friend or family member to watch them while I am out. I am happy to house sit as well if you are on vacation. I will make sure your dog feels comfortable, well loved, and properly entertained. I am very trustworthy and diligent with regards to schedules and special instructions. If boarding, please bring an item from home that your dog feels connected to (could be a bed, favorite toy, blanket, etc).

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and have been caring for them since I was a young girl. They’ve always been a part of my family, so I’m comfortable with everything from dog walking to pet sitting, feeding, and even bathing. Whether it's playing with puppies or giving extra attention to senior dogs, I want to make sure each pet feels comfortable and loved. My schedule is pretty flexible! During the week, I’m available after 5 pm, mostly for dog walks. On weekends, I’m free all day and can help with dog walking, pet sitting, house sitting, or whatever your pet needs. I don’t have any dogs at home right now, but your dog will be treated like part of the family! I focus on creating a safe and comfortable environment where your dog can relax, play, and enjoy their time. Our one cat takes a pill daily, and while he takes it just fine for his mom, he wasn't taking it for the sitters. Valerie came up with safe, creative ways to get him to take his pill. She also left wonderfully detailed check-in notes and was very communicative.
