I am a hotel manager and work from home, I’m available for daily visits to your house, adventure trips and walks, transporting pets, and boarding at my home. While I don’t have a yard, I live in a pet-friendly community with great walking spots, and I’ll take dogs out every 1-2 hours for bathroom breaks and exercise. For boarding, I’d follow the same routine, offering regular walks and playtime. If clients have a fenced yard, I make full use of that space for outdoor activities and fun.

About: I own a 7 acre property that is a short drive up Fickle Hill Rd in Arcata! It includes a private trail with access to the community forest and a very large fenced in yard. I have a 1 year old female German Shepherd (Sabine) who is very well trained and LOVES to play with other dogs. I’ve been working with animals my entire life but started officially dog sitting and walking about 10 years ago! I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes and personalities and feel comfortable and confident in my care abilities. Locally I have done in home care both long term and short term. Now that I have this large property I would like to do more of a doggy day care! I am capable of providing training, grooming, as well as daily exercise and enrichment activities! I am free Monday - Thursday every week as I work from home as a ceramic artist. On the weekends (Friday - Sunday) I work as a waitress. I offer care from my home where I have a very large fenced in yard with plenty of space to run around and enjoy the outdoors. As well as a large dog friendly home for those rainy days. All plants and trees on the property are dog safe! I also have a private trail that is connected to the community forest trails where I take Sabine (my dog) for daily walks. Sabine also loves the beach so we do take weekly trips out to the dunes in Samoa! I’m a dog lover and feel that I am very attuned to understanding the way they communicate. About: Hello! My name is Allison (but I go by Sonny 😊) and I have 6 years of experience working professionally with animals. I began my journey in the pet care industry in 2016 doing pet sitting and dog walking before moving onto my career working at Petco in 2017. I started out doing animal care for the small animals, reptiles, fish and adoptable cats. In 2018 I found my passion when I became a certified Positive Reinforcement Dog trainer and have been training ever since while continuing to do pet sitting and dog walking on the side. About: Dogs have been apart of my life since I was 8 years old. Personally I took care of a Boston terrier and that is the only breed that Ive worked with in my house. Other breeds that I’ve had experience with our my neighbors dogs including different types of Pitbulls and huskies. I am very comfortable with larger dog find them to be huge lovers. I am welcome to any size dog i know I can handle and take care of them based on my personal experience with my own pets and neighbors pets. My neighbors pets have been in my life longer than the Boston terrier that we got as a family dog. My family has now had three Boston terriers throughout my lifetime. I am currently a full-time Cal poly Humboldt student, but I have 1 to 2 hour breaks between most of my classes and I’m free in the evenings for dog walking throughout the day. I am currently moved out of my parents house so I don’t have any pets in my home but I have a fenced off backyard and is spacious living area if they need to stay overnight that is OK. I have plenty of places to walk right outside of my home. In the clients home I would be able to do any pet care that they may require or want such as walking be brushing. About: I've had large dogs since 1997. Currently I have 2 amazing dogs. A 3 legged great burnese, and a 1.2yr old burnese Mt. Dog. They are sweet and wonderful dogs with great manners and are super dog friendly. I also have 2 cats. Rick and Morty. They are a pair. Also very sweet and affectionate once they know you. They are indoor/outdoor 24/7 but avoid dogs. The love of my furry friends reflects who I am. I have 5 acres. This allows my dogs to mostly roam free as they stay close to home. It gives other dogs the opportunity to have a place to run around and play with other good dogs. There are also multiple leads amongst the property, as well as a gated and covered outside area if your pet isn't used to either of those situations. I spend almost all of my days working from home. So other than the occasional errand, I'm home. Otherwise, I exist for you and yours. My pets have water and food at all times. It's under a covered area so they are able to stay in the shade if they like. Otherwise my dogs are free to roam as they generally stay on the property. My property is not fenced. However with this undertaking dogs can be placed in the covered area when needed. They can be leaded if that's what you want. As well they are welcome in the house at any time. Your pets are free to relax anywhere they like. My dogs are very sweet and friendly. My 3 legged dog is not one to get to excited as he only has 3 legs. For the right dogs, my property is a paradise.
