About: I have lots of personal experience with cats, dogs, birds, and lizards. I have fostered kittens last summer and help raise puppies with my aunt. I treat all animals with the respect they deserve and am well with directions. I often have as much energy to burn as the pets i watch so it’s perfect for playtime. About: Traveling to Arcata for 10 weeks and happy to cat sit! There's something about cats and small dogs that just resonate. I have lived with cats, pigeons, parakeets, a pittie mix, and 2 small dogs in my home, and immediately adopted my own cat once I moved out. That being said, I vibe the strongest with cat energy (chihuahuas and other small dogs are also cats, believe me). I've been pet sitting across multiple platforms since I was 15 (now 31). If your pet is looking for a friend with a cozy vibe, I'm their gal :) I spend most of my time writing and making art at home, so we will have have plenty of time to bond. I will make sure they feel like someone loving and safe is still around while you are on your trip away. Excepting the other Rover sits, I work on a contract and freelance schedule, so my schedule is relatively flexible. Shoot me a message and let's see if we can make it work. I tend to bond easily with animals since my priority is keeping each pet comfortable in their own routine and home. About: I've grown up with cats and have helped or fully taken care of them since I was 8. I currently have 3 cats (ages 2, 2, and 3) which I feed, clean the water bowl, and solely sift/clean/change the litter boxes. I also have an almost 5 year old ball python who I've solely taken care of since he was 2 months old. Currently job-hunting, so besides taking care of my own pets I will be able to fit a lot into my schedule! I will also be more flexible. At home I both keep things locked up and away that I do not want the cats getting into, and keep an eye out for whatever they may find. I also sift 2-3 times daily, and change litter boxes weekly. My ball python's tank gets emptied and cleaned every other week. My cats and snake have never and will never directly interact with each other. However I will carry my snake around to let him explore as much as is safe.

About: I own a 7 acre property that is a short drive up Fickle Hill Rd in Arcata! It includes a private trail with access to the community forest and a very large fenced in yard. I have a 1 year old female German Shepherd (Sabine) who is very well trained and LOVES to play with other dogs. I’ve been working with animals my entire life but started officially dog sitting and walking about 10 years ago! I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes and personalities and feel comfortable and confident in my care abilities. Locally I have done in home care both long term and short term. Now that I have this large property I would like to do more of a doggy day care! I am capable of providing training, grooming, as well as daily exercise and enrichment activities! I am free Monday - Thursday every week as I work from home as a ceramic artist. On the weekends (Friday - Sunday) I work as a waitress. I offer care from my home where I have a very large fenced in yard with plenty of space to run around and enjoy the outdoors. As well as a large dog friendly home for those rainy days. All plants and trees on the property are dog safe! I also have a private trail that is connected to the community forest trails where I take Sabine (my dog) for daily walks. Sabine also loves the beach so we do take weekly trips out to the dunes in Samoa! I’m a dog lover and feel that I am very attuned to understanding the way they communicate. About: I've been a dependable care provider for many dogs in the past few years and really love what I do! Dog boarding is one of my main services and your pooch will be very tended to between myself and my roommate! I'm currently working part time so I have plenty of time to care for your pets! 90% of the time while I am at work, my (also experienced dogsitter) boyfriend is home. With enough advanced notice I can be sure your dog is not left alone at all if needed, though if not otherwise specified depending on my schedule they may be alone up to 3 hours at a time. I am great at reading animal behavior and making sure your pet is comfortable. I also make sure to adhere to your guidelines carefully when caring for your pet. I'm experienced with animals who have separation anxiety and issues eating when in a new environment so you can rest assured they are as comfortable as possible!

About: I’ve taken care of family and friend’s pets since middle school. I’ve pet sat for them while they are on vacation or dropped in when their pets need some extra care and they are busy at work. I have had many critters of my own including cats, dogs, and bearded dragons. I have experience feeding, walking, grooming, and bathing cats and dogs. I am a full time college student leaving me without much time for a traditional job. I have school in-person Monday-Friday. Though my classes are over 4 hours apart and mostly only an hour long with lots of time to check in on your pets or take them out for a walk. I don’t have another job at the moment, so my weekends are also free for pet care and pet sitting works great for me since in between walks and meals I can usually catch up on some schoolwork while still looking after your furry loved ones. I am available for stop by check-ins/feedings, house-sitting, and frequent walks. My top priority is always your pets safety and comfort. I will always treat your pets, homes, and your own wishes with the most respect. I have multiple roommates with their own pets and am unable to board your pets in my own home. Though I am available for pet care in your home as well as available to take them out for walks around your neighborhood or on adventures like to the beach, or on a hike depending on your preference and what you are comfortable with.
