We were of course a little apprehensive but Janet made us and the boys secure right from the start. We had an initial meeting that went very well and the 10 night stay went even better. Janet was tasked with taking care of our dog Duffy who is an epileptic and who had seizures and a vet visit on the day that we were leaving. She made us feel very relieved that the orders from the vet would be carried out...they were. She also took excellent care of the house. She was terrific at keeping us updated during our trip with many pictures and news from home. We could not have been any happier with her stay. The only problem is that someone who does such a good job is in high demand and unfortunately (for us) she is already booked during a time period when we again need a sitter. About: We have had cats and dogs in our family my entire life. I was born and raised caring for our animals as family members. We have always had multiple cats and dogs, as well as assorted other critters. A few years ago, I lived in Madison working at a Doggy Daycare. There we had lots of training in dog body language and behaviors. I spent each day looking after a pack of at least 20 dogs. That job helped me gain lots of experience working with all kinds of different dogs, behaviors and personalities! The doggy daycare also implemented behavioral training. Each day we would work with the dogs and puppies to make sure we were working on positive behaviors with positive reinforcements! I am currently available to help be there for your furbabies and their needs! I would love to be the one to help them feel comfortable while you're away! I live in a spacious, pet friendly duplex. The current tenants include: my husband and myself, our two cats, Mister and Nilla, and my leopard gecko, Echo! I have access to plenty of areas to run and play, as well as a place to get plenty of cuddles! The care I give your pets will match what they need. I know that your fur babies are special and important to you and I intend to treat them as if they were my own. My place or yours, your furry friend will feel at home!

About: I’ve taken care of a wide range of pets. From cats, dogs, birds, rodents and farm animals. I am also able to take care of animals with higher needs. I’ve had elderly pets who need medication and animals that I have found with injuries that I took care of. I am available all week and I occasionally visit my parents on the weekend. Other than that I do not leave town often, if I do ever have a trip planned I would update my schedule. I know how important routines are so sticking to what is requested is essential. Animals that need to be kept separate is also an important thing to know.

About: They say to do what you love and make a career out of it. I’m just grateful my career gets to be with dogs. Pet care for me starts at dawn lol My pups come for cuddles and a potty break first sight of my eyes opening. Most of the time this does align with my schedule in the 6 am timeframe. Our family does always thankfully have one person home at all times, so while kennels are still utilized in our home for various situations, your pups can expect to stay in a home environment while here :) While I personally do not have a yard, my family does own large pasture fields and hills that we will typically walk daily. These colder seasons do affect how often we go out due to the snow and unplowed hills. However in that safe weather we make it a main priority to keep active with our pups to maintain a healthy and long life for them. Safety is priority number one. Thankfully my family is pretty much set up for success here. We are knowledgeable for food, behavior, and play safety with dogs and cats. Signs and symptoms of common issues with dogs and cats, based off personal experiences, and possible fears of what ifs, urinary cat blockages and bloat, or bloody stools. And while I understand dog body language and know how to avoid those tense situations dogs can create, I am incredibly quick to say when we are going to the emergency vet, gosh forbid.
