“Very personable. I felt comfortable bringing up concerns and any issues I had. My inside cats really liked her which put me at ease leaving them for the first time since adopting them. Plenty of daily pictures. I really like that I can depend on her to feed, play, and clean the litter boxes every day. I feel confident that my kitties are in good hands.”

“Oo was fantastic with Livie and we returned to a pet who was well cared for and happy to see us. Oo was respectful and kind, and communicated so well after each visit. I knew without a doubt that Livie was receiving the best care and being loved on due to the level of communication from Oo. She sent multiple photos and described each visit in detail. Truly went above and beyond, and I highly recommend her!”

“Sara was so wonderful with Sophie and when she came back to the house, Sophie ran to the door to greet her. Sara will be my go to for Sophie as she took great care of her.”

About: I have had two jobs in different dog daycare/boarding places. I also have a degree in vet assistant. I have volunteered at the local shelter and love it. I am currently working part time and have usually plenty of time in the early morning or late afternoon. My schedule does change weekly so there may be days I’m more flexible than others. I have one sweet little pup who is in training currently. My favorite thing is just being able to cuddle with her and spend time with her.
“Kayla has been amazing!! I’ve used her for the past 3 months since my puppy was 5 months and she always sent photo updates, was on time, and took great care of my baby. I would definitely recommend her to a friend!!”

“Hope (Judell) is the sweetest! Very attentive to all of my furbabies! They loved her! Their feeding routine can be a little confusing but Hope handled it like a champ. Will definitely use her next time we need someone to take care of our animals. :)”

“She did great with our dogs. We have one very energetic dog that we always worry about cause he gets excited, and can be hard to handle sometimes, she did great with him. We have another dog that is very nervous around new people and she gave our dog time and understanding, by the end of the weekend our dog was going up to her with big smiles”

“Linda is awesome!!! The most reliable, trustworhy, communicative, and kind sitter. Our dogs were well-loved by Linda. We will be using her anytime we need a sitter! Cannot say enough good things about her.”

“Sarah is fantastic! She is on time, she communicates changes, and she goes above and beyond!! But most of all she loves on the fur babies and that’s what matters most. I’m very lucky to have found Sarah for my fur babies!”

“Meredith was absolutely amazing! She took such great care of my 2 fur babies. She took pictures of my boys with each visit which really put me at ease. My boys absolutely loved her too ❤️ I would definitely request Meredith again and again!”

About: I’ve been working at an animal hospital for almost a year. I’ve worked with all kinds of dogs, cats, and other exotic animals. I’ve also worked with their different sizes, ages, diets, medications, etc. I’ve got a dog and 3 cats currently. I also frequently pet sit for family and friends, often overnight or over the weekend. I love to go on neighborhood walks with my dog to make sure she gets her daily exercise in. Also playing outside and enjoying the nice weather. I’m available to let dogs go on as many potty breaks as they need! For my cats, I love playing with them and seeing all the different toys to make sure they never get bored. I’ve also done my fair share of cleaning, no matter the mess, I’ll clean it up! I am a college student with at most 3 classes a day. I can do early mornings and then evenings/afternoons. During school breaks, I’ll be available all day. There may be the occasional days where I’m busy or out of town, but more likely than not I will be free and not busy. I will most likely ask the pet’s owners what they prefer on things like going outside, for walks, and other daily routines. I will constantly be checking in on the pet and making sure they’re doing okay. If anything were to happen, I would immediately contact the owner to come up with an action plan and see what they would want to do, depending on the situation. I would make sure that the home is safe and that there is nothing that the pet could get into that would hurt them.
About: Hi! My name is Kaitlin, and I’m a huge animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for pets. I’ve had dogs since I was 10 years old, and I currently have both a dog and a cat of my own who are treated like family. Because I’m a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy, attentive, and caring to look after your pets. I have experience with overnight pet sitting, dog walking, playtime, feeding routines, puppy training, and making sure pets feel comfortable and loved while their owners are away. I’m reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented, and I always make it a priority to follow each pet owner’s instructions carefully so both you and your pet feel at ease. Monday and Wednesday I work from 8a-4. Tuesday and Thursday I have class from 8a-12:30 I always take the dogs I am watching on 20-30 minute walks each morning and as soon as I get back home, and aim to give them potty breaks even when I am working! I make sure to play and interact with the dogs as soon as I get home for the day! I care for every pet as if they were my own by making sure they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away. For dog walks and drop-in visits, I make sure pets get exercise, attention, fresh water, and plenty of playtime and affection. For overnight, I follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, bathroom breaks, and medications if needed.
About: Hello! I go by Aya! 💕👩🏽🌾Professional belly-rub provider, treat distributor, and enthusiastic walker of tiny goblins and gentle giants alike. I’m a dedicated dog mom to an Aussie/Pit mix, a German Shepherd Terrier mix, and a full-time Tasmanian devil disguised as a Cattle Dog — so I’m very comfortable with high-energy pups, strong personalities, zoomies, and everything in between. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness always come first, and you’ll get plenty of updates and cute photos because I know being away from your pet is basically emotional warfare. I go by Aya, but spiritually I become John Wick if anything even mildly inconveniences your dog during our walk. Squirrels? Handled. Scary trash can? Defeated. Suspicious plastic bag blowing in the wind? We shall overcome.✨🐺🐺🐺 I currently work 8 to 430 and I work from home so I’m available from 6 AM to 7:30 AM and anytime after 5:30 PM I do not do boarding in my own home or overnight visits. I can only do drop ins and dog walking. My apologies thank you for choosing me to walk your dog and to make drops ins!

Here I love on the cats and take shelter dogs for walks! I grew up on a farm with many animals and have grew to love all of them! During my job as a vet assistant I have learned how to work with all different demeanors and personalities when it comes to animals! I have experience with timid pups, outgoing animals, energetic animals, puppies, and so much more! I look forward to meeting your fur babies! In-between my classes at Western I love to spend time with animals! It provides me with a mental break from my schools and studies and gives me something to look forward to! When I am home during college breaks I spend most of my time working and carrying for animals at the clinic. However, when I have days off my favorite thing to do is to take my dogs for a hike. My house when I am not living in the dorm at school consist of two indoor cats, an indoor dog, an outdoor cat, and an outdoor dog! All of my animals have grew up together and get along with other pets just fine! I do however take them out on a leash to ensure they don’t get scared or run off!

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Bowling Green
She’s AMAZING and took such good care of our cat Bubba! I can’t say enough good things about Mackenzie from her kindness helping us out on the spur of the moment, literally the day before we left to feeding, playing with and caring so much about our cat Bubba! Left us detailed notes, pictures of him and even a video! I will ONLY use Mackenzie from here on out and you should also, she’s great!

Riley was absolutely fantastic with my two cats! My cats have never had an “outside of the family” sitter before and can be extremely anxious because of this. However, Riley’s care for them made them less anxious and one of my cats, who is very afraid of people she doesn’t know and will hide, actually came out each visit and let Riley pet her multiple times! She also sent updates and photos of my cats, which I really appreciated. Riley is an amazing sitter, so I highly recommend her for all of your pet-sitting needs!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
