About: I’ve had dogs and cats since I was 5 years old. In high school, I was the one people called to watch their pets when out of town. At 18, I got my first non family dog and self trained her for the AKC good citizen test. At that point I became the friend everyone called to help train their dogs. I have fostered bottle babies all the way to senior animals with complex medical needs. I also have experience working with reactive and fearful dogs. I am also experienced in dispensing medication. My current dog has a spinal condition and gets medication twice daily. My soul dog was in palliative care for the last five months of her life and I learned a lot about basic canine first aid. My current dog has traveled with me extensively. He’s been to 13 states and roadtrips with me through Mexico. I think there is a care plan for every animal. I look forward to treating your pet like they are part of the family. I work full time from home, but have a very flexible daytime schedule. I am able to take breaks as often as needed with no issue. I currently walk my dog at 5am and 10pm to avoid daytime heat and give him bathroom breaks every 2-4 hours. I learned a long time ago that routine is best for most pets. My dog does for two 45 minute walks a day, and meals twice a day. When hosting another pup, your pups schedule will be continued. Even if it’s different from my dogs. They will be fed separately and created separately. If your dog is less social I have plenty of space to keep the pups separate, if needed. When dog sitting in your home, my dog will head to do more board and train lessons and my routine will shift to match what your dog is used to.
About: Throughout my life, I've lived with parakeets, dogs, cats, turtles, mice, guinea pigs, lizards - you name it. I have pet sat many-a-times and used to do so via Care, but am now coming over to Rover. I do have my own dog (3.5 years old) and he is a Doberman, so I am no stranger to the hard work of training, lots of exercise and puppy care. For boarding & daycare - it would be most ideal to do a meet & greet if your dog is MALE. I work from home at my house all day! I am available for daycare and/or boarding. I can provide potty breaks every 0-2 hours and I can provide dedicated indoor/outdoor playtime midday and then anytime in the evening hours. My day typically starts around 7-8am. Potty break in the AM + breakfast. As stated previously, I have a fenced in-yard where they can play outside at any point in time & be closely monitored. Lunch and/or dinner can be given at specific times depending upon your dog's need. Because I work from home - plenty of lounging with both myself & my cuddly pup will be a given.

“We have been sending Ellie to daycare with Jordan since July 9th and we have had a wonderful experience! We know that she is safe and happy at Jordan’s. He takes her for walks and she enjoys them a lot! He was kind enough to give her a bath when we couldn’t manage to during a really busy week. Very flexible with timings too. We highly recommend Jordan!”

“I am so grateful I found Jenna! I was not feeling well and needed to rest but didn't want my dog to be trapped and bored. Jenna was so gracious and welcoming to us and helped me, a first-time user, feel so comfortable. Thank you, Jenna! (And crew) You saved the day”

“I’m so grateful for Laura and her family. She was incredibly flexible from start to finish, and my dog is completely worn out—in the best way! Laura gave her all the attention I couldn’t, and I couldn’t be more thankful.”

“I can’t say enough about how great Lauren was with our puppy. She was so kind and loving to him and he was very well cared for. She was super flexible with our schedule, which I greatly appreciate! I would give her a 10 star review if I could. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone!”

“Walter and his wife have been so great with my dog! Kenai loves going over there for the day. They have made Kenai a welcome member in their home and even take him out for walks. They’re also understanding of my changing schedule when it comes to early drop offs and different pickup times. I really appreciate them!”

About: Growing up, my parents took my to a farm camp every summer. Being surrounded by animals of all kinds (cats, dogs, horses, cows, goats, etc), ignited my love for animals at a very young age. I love to dog sit and walk dogs whenever my schedule permits. I do have a golden retriever of my own, she is very friendly and would love to go on walks with your furry friend if that is okay with you. I have loved fostering in the past. Fostering has allowed me to get to know many breeds and behaviors of dogs which has made me a proficient dog walker and pet sitter. As a nurse, safety is always my priority. I will always ensure your furry friends are safe and well taken care of. I am currently working 3 12hr shifts a week. I would love to help out whenever I am available on my days off from work! When caring for pets, I ensure to build trust in order to make sure the animals is as comfortable as possible. With this being said, I make sure to take my time during visits and pay attention to how your pet is feeling. I realize all animals are different! Please let me know if your dog or cat has any special needs, their energy level, and if there are any behavioral issues I should be aware of. I of not need to know any of these ahead of time, however, I like to know as much information about your pet as possible so I am able to accommodate them to the best of my ability.
“Good communication before and during our dog's care. She made us feel comfortable socializing him with other dogs. Sent lots of pictures and a video. Highly recommend. She was great!”

I look forward to meeting your furry friend! I can care for pets after the hours of 5pm on weekdays and anytime on the weekends. I am flexible, outside of weekday working hours 8am-5pm. “My dog Taku and I relocated here from Michigan recently. We have no family or friends here in Illinois. I was so stressed and anxious on what I will do with Taku while I’m at work or a long day or long weekend. Taku has separation anxiety where if he’s left alone, he will cry and bark the whole entire time. Then I found Jeena on Rover! She was so accommodating! She allowed Taku and I to come meet her and her cats to see if they all got along, before we booked her for a half day of day care. Taku did really well at her place! He felt comfortable and when I went to pick him up, he was happy and well taken care of. It seemed like he really loved her already and he gave her kisses goodbye! We will definitely be using Jeena again!! We feel so lucky to have found her!!!! Thanks Jeena and Rover!”

About: I’ve been into animals my entire life. I grew up with dogs and horses. I knew I wanted to at some point work with them in a greater capacity. I started helping with rescues 15 years ago and then I started doing wild life rehabilitation. I have had over 20 rescue animals in the past 15 years that became part of my family. Cats, dogs, squirrels, etc. I love them and being able to care for them. My daughter is headed to Veterinary school next fall! I’d like to think the love of animals she has seen in me helped her come to such an amazing decision. Let me love on your fur babies like I do on my 2 doggies and kitty cats!! I am currently available at anytime! I’m flexible with your schedule and can change if needed on things. I do remote work 4 hours per day 3 days a week which offers me the flexibility to be available when they need it anytime of day or night! I am willing to do things the way that you feel is best for your individual animals. I do not believe there is just one standard for caring, it needs to be tailored to the needs of the client/animal.
“Damica is trustworthy and excellent with my pup. Kya has come home tired and happy from daycare both times I have picked her up, which is exactly what I wanted! Damica is quick to respond and provides updated videos/photos throughout the day so I can see what Kya is up to. Will definitely rehire.”

“Isa took such great care of our puppy! This was my first time using Rover and leaving my puppy with a sitter instead of a doggy daycare. Isa answered all of my questions about the process and gave me the chance to come meet her first. She was also very flexible as I had to book it sort of last minute and didn't have an exact time of when we would be picking up our puppy. Also our puppy was still finishing recovery from a recent surgery, and Isa was very understanding of this and made sure he got enough Rex. I really appreciated Isa's updates and pictures throughout the day, and I know our puppy had a lot of fun as he was very tired when he got home! Thank you again Isa, we will definitely bring our puppy back in the future!”

“This was our first experience using a doggie sitter from Rover but definitely won’t be our last. Brian was wonderful! He was extremely flexible in accommodating our schedule and took such great care of Sparky and Crouton! Loved all the pictures he sent!”
