“I’m so grateful for Laura and her family. She was incredibly flexible from start to finish, and my dog is completely worn out—in the best way! Laura gave her all the attention I couldn’t, and I couldn’t be more thankful.”

About: With years of dog mom experience and fostering for local rescues, I can honestly say dogs are my first love. I have two rescued senior dogs, Pork Chop, a Jack Russell terrier and Trudy a “super sized” dachshund who are the loves of my life. They are the “golden girls” of the neighborhood and adore other dogs. They have helped many of my fosters overcome separation anxiety and are always happy to meet new pups. I treat every pet as if they were my own and understand that much like humans, they all have wildly different personalities. Their safety and well being are my greatest priorities so please share as much info as you can regarding triggers, food restrictions, resource guarding or anything else that makes them unique. ⚡️☔️ If your pet has triggers, not a problem! I’m well practiced in handling those unpredictable moments, keeping your baby safe and relaxed indoors and on walks. 💊 If your dog or cat needs meds, don’t fret! I’ve cared for animals in varying stages of health and have tons of experience in how to administer meds to even the snootiest of snoots. 🍗 Is your dog a trash eater? Fear not, so are mine! My years of being a dog mom have created a 6th sense for knowing when our fuzzy toddlers are about to grab a “street treat.” 🐱 And let’s not forget kitties, they are my favorite people too! I grew up around cats and care for a few neighbor kitties so I’m familiar with all the quirks that make them lovable. Special feeding requests and litter box cleanings are not a bother so you can feel confident your feline friend will be kept well fed and tidy. ⏰ Most of my availability is between 9am and 9 pm but please check with me as I will always do my best accommodate if you need an earlier or later walk. Boarding is case by case since I already have two dogs. A preliminary meet and greet is required to be sure everyone gets along. Also, I can only board dogs up to 25 pounds. My home is a calm, safe environment where dogs are free to lounge, play and be themselves. If your dog likes to be free or needs some crate time just let me know, I understand how important it is to follow these instructions. Changing wee wee pads is never an issue, just leave the fresh ones out and I’m at your service! As for Covid-19 safety there’s no reason to worry, I’m fully vaccinated/ boosted and always masked. Plus, I travel in my own car, avoiding public transportation so you can feel at ease when I enter your home. I’m also happy to remove my shoes, wash pet bowls and clean surfaces during feeding times :) Hope you enjoy the photo gallery of all the fur babes in my orbit 🪐

About: I’ve had dogs and cats since I was 5 years old. In high school, I was the one people called to watch their pets when out of town. At 18, I got my first non family dog and self trained her for the AKC good citizen test. At that point I became the friend everyone called to help train their dogs. I have fostered bottle babies all the way to senior animals with complex medical needs. I also have experience working with reactive and fearful dogs. I am also experienced in dispensing medication. My current dog has a spinal condition and gets medication twice daily. My soul dog was in palliative care for the last five months of her life and I learned a lot about basic canine first aid. My current dog has traveled with me extensively. He’s been to 13 states and roadtrips with me through Mexico. I think there is a care plan for every animal. I look forward to treating your pet like they are part of the family. I work full time from home, but have a very flexible daytime schedule. I am able to take breaks as often as needed with no issue. I currently walk my dog at 5am and 10pm to avoid daytime heat and give him bathroom breaks every 2-4 hours. I learned a long time ago that routine is best for most pets. My dog does for two 45 minute walks a day, and meals twice a day. When hosting another pup, your pups schedule will be continued. Even if it’s different from my dogs. They will be fed separately and created separately. If your dog is less social I have plenty of space to keep the pups separate, if needed. When dog sitting in your home, my dog will head to do more board and train lessons and my routine will shift to match what your dog is used to.

“Kyle was great. Very gracious. We arrived 20 minutes early and texted Kyle to ask if we ould drop our dog off early. While waiting for his reply we took our dog to the park across the street. While off leash he found a pile of horse manure and rolled in it. We took Mate back to the car and began trying to clean him with Lysol wipes from the car. Kyle came outside greeting us, and assured us repeatedly that the situation was ok, we could leave. Though very hesitant we did so. Poor Kyle, he underestimated the stench! He texted us and said he took Mate outside and hosed him off, and sent a photo of our smiling STINK HOund with a towel on his head. We apologized again, and Kyle assured us all was OK and to enjoy our date in St Louis. We did end our date 2 hrs early, quickly returned for Mate and apologized again. And Again Kyle was very gracious. We DID find a nearby dog wash. Wish we had found it before the date. Thanks Kyle We hope you were able to enjoy your date and our tip came in handy.”

About: Growing up, my parents took my to a farm camp every summer. Being surrounded by animals of all kinds (cats, dogs, horses, cows, goats, etc), ignited my love for animals at a very young age. I love to dog sit and walk dogs whenever my schedule permits. I do have a golden retriever of my own, she is very friendly and would love to go on walks with your furry friend if that is okay with you. I have loved fostering in the past. Fostering has allowed me to get to know many breeds and behaviors of dogs which has made me a proficient dog walker and pet sitter. As a nurse, safety is always my priority. I will always ensure your furry friends are safe and well taken care of. I am currently working 3 12hr shifts a week. I would love to help out whenever I am available on my days off from work! When caring for pets, I ensure to build trust in order to make sure the animals is as comfortable as possible. With this being said, I make sure to take my time during visits and pay attention to how your pet is feeling. I realize all animals are different! Please let me know if your dog or cat has any special needs, their energy level, and if there are any behavioral issues I should be aware of. I of not need to know any of these ahead of time, however, I like to know as much information about your pet as possible so I am able to accommodate them to the best of my ability.

“Jacqueline is a fantastic animal lover! I have personally watched Jacqueline foster dogs that have challenges with anxiety, reactivity, and adjusting to home life. Despite these challenges, she effectively comforts and works with them. I also have watched her interact with our dogs, who have very different personalities. She gently cares for my senior dog and energetically plays with our three-year-old dog. I have trusted her with my dogs multiple times and have always been impressed with her thoughtful care.”

Jacki & Enoch H.

“Our pup Mattie sprints to the front door, she’s always so excited to play with Fae. Safe, responsible pet watching—what else could you ask for?”
