About: Hi, I’m Maddie! 🐾 I’ve had cats and dogs in my life since I was a baby — from tiny Pomeranians to big, lovable German Shepherds. Over the years, I’ve pet sat for friends, family, and neighbors (both dogs and cats!) and love giving pets the care, walks, and attention they deserve. I’m currently a medical resident, which means my schedule shifts weekly — but that actually gives me the flexibility to help care for your pets when you need it most. About: I’ve grown up around animals of all kinds, including dogs, cats, rabbits, rats, pigs, sheep, and cows, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. I currently have a dog named Sharon, whom I originally fostered along with her five puppies for eight weeks - an experience that gave me plenty of hands on experience caring for puppies and dogs with different needs and personalities. Many of my closest friendships were built around our shared love of dogs, and we’ve regularly helped care for each other’s pets over the years. I’ve hosted dogs in my own home, as well as stayed in clients’ homes to care for elderly dogs who needed extra attention, patience, and comfort. I genuinely enjoy making pets feel safe, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away. Currently working from home so I will be a constant presence throughout the day. This also allows me to take your dog for as many walks as needed or any other specific services required. I have one dog who is usually a couch potato and sleeps all day. She is very dog friendly in all aspects. I have a fenced in backyard and a doggy door so they have full access. Toys and treats are available (if allowed)! Happy to follow any and all instructions.

I was so stressed and anxious on what I will do with Taku while I’m at work or a long day or long weekend. Taku has separation anxiety where if he’s left alone, he will cry and bark the whole entire time. Then I found Jeena on Rover! She was so accommodating! She allowed Taku and I to come meet her and her cats to see if they all got along, before we booked her for a half day of day care. Taku did really well at her place! About: I have a 5 year old 100lb staffordshire terrier named Kaido that I raised and trained since he was 6 weeks old. I crate trained, house trained, recall trained, socialized, and lead trained him myself. I have also Kaido to help work with other dogs that are not well socialized or have anxiety issues. I am currently working two part time jobs as a research coordinator so I am typically able to be flexible with whatever schedule is requested. While my apartment does not have a fenced yard, I do have a large dog crate if needed and have knowledge of many dog parks and trails in the St Louis area.

“We had a great experience with Marie and her family! She was available to do a meet and greet before we left Cooper with her for a long weekend and was very flexible on drop off and pick up timing. We got updates throughout the weekend and Cooper came home absolutely exhausted, a sure sign of a good time. We like that he was able to get a lot of interaction with the kids, and they all seemed to like helping out. We will definitely have Marie on our list next time we need a place for Cooper to stay.”
