“Jessica was great with our cats. The one is usually not big on people and she would come out for pictures every visit. She was very detailed in her report after each detail. Highly recommend.”

“Kylie was wonderful with my cat. She asked questions about him at our meet and greet. She came on schedule and spent time talking with him and petting him. Our cat is very social and it was important to us that time be spent interacting with Que. Kylie did just that and send me many amazing pictures as well. I would highly recommend Kylie”

“Amanda was amazing! She cared for our 2 dogs as if they were her own. She worked with us being first time users of the app. She went out of her way to ensure we as well as our dogs were comfortable and at ease! Thank you for the wonderful job you did for us!”

About: Had pets my whole life. I walk all the time and know where to take them and have an SUV with enough room to fit them in. Have 2 children who adore all animals. I have a full time job, Tuesday through Saturday, but I’m usually home around 2-4 pm. I’m available every evening and can stop to let them out during the day because of my job flexibility. I love both ends of the spectrum. I love being active and taking dogs for walk/runs. I also love relaxing and cuddling with them and getting to know what their preferences. Will follow all strict diet rules and keep a very clean house to avoid unwanted eating restrictions.
“I was nervous leaving Moochie for an overnight trip having recently been diagnosed with diabetes. She requires two meals and two insulin injections daily. She is a bit shy and I was unsure if she would eat and accept her meds, but Dane worked his magic and she ate both meals and received insulin. What a relief! Milo was a bit shy the first day but was ready to say hello on the second day. I will definitely call on Dane & Kayla again!”

About: Hi! My name is Hannah, and I’ve been caring for animals since I was a kid. I have several pets of my own, so I understand the love, attention, and responsibility that goes into keeping them happy and healthy. I also volunteered for years with Feline Finish Line at Petco, where I helped care for and socialize cats while they waited to find their forever homes. I’m an active, reliable, and caring person who genuinely loves animals. Whether your pet needs playtime, walks, cuddles, or just a little extra attention while you’re away, I’ll treat them like they’re my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared f I’m a current student athlete at college. I’m looking for more summer hours as it will fit into my schedule. I love to go on runs and walks everyday! I care for your pet the way you want me too. If you want me to walk or run your pet I will! I also can crate them, feed them, and play with them!

About: I’ve grown up in many households of pets - right now I have a great dane (Luna)! Past experience with puppies to older dogs including chihuahuas, doodles, labs, pitbulls, bulldogs, german shepherds, boxers, retrievers, great danes, etc! I’ve done any care including feeding, bathing, potty breaks, cleaning, walking, etc. Between May-August my schedule revolves around my part time job, but I am very flexible. During the school year, August-May, I am a full time nursing student, but still available most evenings and weekends! I will care for your pets in your home just as I would want a sitter to do in my own! Your pet’s comfort and keeping your space in good shape is my top priority.

About: I've been pet sitting since i was 13, I am currently 19 with a dog and cat of my own! I've taken care of seniors as-well as puppies. I've potty trained, taught tricks, and have done special care when needed. I love to go on long hikes and bring my dog with me! I go on walks about 3 times a day, as my dog is very active. Feel free to ask me questions! I would love to watch your pup. :) I'm available for pet sitting any day of the week at any times! I can handle seniors aswell as active dogs. I would love to spend time with your pup. I have one super friendly dog that loves to play and gets along great with cats. The cats will have plenty of space to play or relax. I have scratchers, cat towers, toys, and treats! As for dogs I go on 3 walks a day with my pup. She is very active and friendly. Your pup will be able to relax and also get the outside time they need. I have a big fenced in backyard perfect for running around and playing.
“I couldn’t have been happier with the care provided by Quinn for my cat, Oreo, while we were on vacation. She was attentive to Oreo’s needs despite Oreo’s reluctance to come out of hiding. Amazingly, Quinn was able to find her and send me a few photos! I truly am grateful for Quinn’s gentle manner, her knowledge of cats’ idiosyncrasies, and especially for her dependability and trustworthiness. I would highly recommend Quinn to anyone hoping for a caring pet sitter, and am hopeful she is available should I need her in the future!”

“She was absolutely amazing with my 11 week old puppy, Luna. Made going to work much easier knowing my puppy wasn’t stuck in her crate for hours and got to have breaks. She is excellent at communicating and making sure all the puppy needs are met!! I would absolutely recommend her to anyone and definitely will be going with her again when I need too!!”

“My pets were happy and my house was still clean and tidy when I came home. Mark was very accommodating and flexible with his schedule. He also stepped in pretty late in the game before my vacation after my previous dog sitter canceled. Thanks for taking care of my babies :)”
“Both of my cats have their quirks and health needs, but Dani was able to ease my worries about leaving them in her care. She was great with communication at each visit and didn't hesitate to reach out with anything to make sure my boys got what they needed while I was away. I came home to safe, happy cats and I would definitely have her check in on them again in the future!”

About: I’ve taken care of lots of animals including dogs for over 13 years! In addition to caring for my own animals, I have been relied on by others to care for their pets as well. I consistently work on training with both my dog and cat. Currently, my dog Nani is learning to search for edible mushrooms on our hikes! I work remotely and make my own schedule so I have lots of flexibility/availability throughout the week! My work allows me to take time during the day to go on walks or to work on training/socializing as needed. I have my own friendly dog and cat who are very active. We go on lots of walks and play throughout the day. My focus is creating healthy stimulation and activities for our pets.
“Kayla noticed that one of my cats was struggling to finish their food during her visits, which resulted in my other cat trying to eat it. Her response to this dilemma was truly above and beyond: Kayla would hide the leftover food and make a second trip over later in the day (even though only one daily visit was requested) to make sure my cat ate the remaining food and didn't go hungry!”

About: I know just how difficult it can be to be away and to find someone trustworthy to care for your beloved pets; especially those with medical and unique needs. That’s why I’m here: to make that time away as worry free and easy as possible! Friends aren’t always around to help out, and no one likes to stick their pups in a kennel. That’s what inspired me to become a sitter! I have a huge passion for making sure that pets are happy and healthy! There’s just nothing like bringing a smile to a pet’s face, so I can’t wait to do the same for your fur kids! I’ve been a lifelong dog owner, but have tons of experience taking care of them to boot! I currently live with my dog, a Chihuahua/Papillon mix, Rosie, and she is the light of my life! I grew up looking after pups and have experience with tons of different pets, from dogs and cats to fish and Bearded Dragons! In addition to taking care of may pets, I’ve also been a volunteer for the Suncoast Animal League, where I took in and fostered pups in need. I just loved this experience so much, and it definitely confirmed my wish to see every pet be happy and healthy at all times! I’ve also been a long-time pet sitter for friends and family, and now I’m very excited to extend my client base and help more pets & their families. When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet in-person or video call. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pet and your care expectations. No one knows your pet better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pet tick! Finally, me and Rosie love meeting new dogs and cats! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. I believe that the cornerstone of any good stay is communication. For me, good communication begins before your pet comes under my care, as I love to get as much information about you and your pet right off the bat! Getting a good idea about your care expectations is just as important as learning about what makes your pup tick. With that information in mind, I like to start thinking as early as possible about what a dream stay would be! During the stay, I like to send regular updates with accompanying pictures, so you can see just how well your pet is doing while you’re away. In addition to pictures, I like to send detailed information on anything you need to feel in the loop—from behaviors to meals to exercise times. Going the extra mile is just what I do best! *For house pet sitting, I am a currently working in Pennsylvania and able to travel with my dog, who is dog/cat tolerant & house trained, to you for 2-3 day weekend stays within 5 hours of Lancaster,PA.
About: I have been helping care for our dogs my entire life but I’m really only counting since I was 10. I’m not sure if I would count earlier as helping lol. I would dog sit for family, friends, and coworkers too. I always make sure they are happy and feed. Along with making sure all their energy is out too. I will follow all food instructions that they have. I have given dogs pills before if they require them. I have limited experience with both elderly dogs and puppies, however I am willing to learn what they will need from me. I do work full time but I have an hour lunch where I can run back to let them out. I work from 8-4 so if they don’t need to be let out during the day I will let them out immediately once I get back. I do not do much on the weekends so weekends will be spent with furry friends. I will care for your pet in your home and make it as close as to their routine as possible. I have walked dogs on a leash and have good control. If they do not eat human food they will not be given human food. I always stick to the portions that I am told when feeding them too. If I have a concern about one of the furry friends I will contact you immediately to see what you would like me to do.
About: I've been a pet owner almost my entire life. I've cared for hamsters, cats, and dogs primarily. I have a certificate from Animal Behavior College in basic dog training and care, along with experience working with shelter dogs. I look forward to caring for your pet. I would love to be able to care for pets full time. I am currently available for scheduled dog walks and/or dog/cat drop-ins most times during the week and on weekends. I promise to treat your pet with the utmost care and respect with safety as a top priority. Feel free to speak with me about any of your concerns.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Bordnersville. On Rover:
- 96% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
