I really appreciated the consistent updates and photos, which gave me complete peace of mind while traveling. Our cats were happy, relaxed, and well cared for when we returned, and everything at home was left in great shape. About: I grew up surrounded by animals of all kinds—horses, dogs, cats, goats, and even rescued wildlife—so caring for animals has always been second nature to me. I’m comfortable with pets of all sizes, ages, and temperaments, and I approach every animal with patience, attentiveness, and respect for their individual needs. I’m currently a PhD student, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to provide reliable, attentive care, whether that means regular walks, check-ins, or longer stays. I treat every pet as if they were my own and make sure they feel safe, cared for, and loved while you’re away. As a PhD student I have a fairly flexible schedule. Let me know what you need and I can try to accommodate whatever it is! Your pet’s comfort and safety are my top priorities. All care takes place in your pet’s familiar environment, where they feel most secure. I take time to learn your pet’s routines, preferences, and any special instructions so I can maintain a calm, consistent atmosphere while you’re away. Whether it’s sticking to their feeding and walk schedule, providing gentle reassurance for anxious pets, or keeping a close eye on their surroundings, I’m committed to creating a safe, stress-free experience for your animal every visit.
About: I've taken care of my own pets while I was growing up. From dogs and cats to horses. I've always love animals and seem them just as little kids, so I always try to be patience and kind in the same way as I am with human kids. I am currently a full-time student, so my schedule could be a little tight sometimes. But I'll be more than happy to visit your little friend if times work out. I am usually free all day for from Friday to Sunday. During the week I'm available from 4:30 pm to later evening. I will more than happy to play and take care of your doggie/kitty. Also, I will give you updates of your little fella. I try to be aware of my surroundings, look for anything that may lead to accidents, and change if needed.
“I would highly recommend Kacey!! My dogs loved her, she always updated with pictures and how the dogs were doing at every drop in visit. My dogs would wait for her by the door for her as well since they love being spoiled. I would definitely hire Kacey again for future trips I may have.”

“Val is absolutely wonderful! She's trustworthy, prompt, and thoughtful. Most importantly, she took fabulous care of my shy and nervous kitty when I was out of town. Val sent me the cutest photos during each visit, and my cat loved Val right away--always a good sign! I'll definitely be asking her to catsit the next time I need help.”

About: While I’m newer to professional dog sitting, I have many years of hands-on experience caring for animals. I’ve been responsible for my own pets for a long time and have regularly cared for the dogs of close friends and family when they’re away. For the past six years, I’ve provided consistent care for multiple dogs while also managing the daily care of farm animals at my home. This experience has taught me responsibility, attentiveness, and how to adapt to different animals’ needs and routines. I’ve also helped lost dogs find their way back home, which reflects my commitment to animal safety and well-being. I’ve also volunteered with ARLEP, where my primary responsibilities included walking dogs and maintaining clean, comfortable kennels. Boarding & Daycare What can you expect while your pet is with me? I send at least one update per day and am always happy to share more. As a dog owner myself, I know how reassuring it is to see how your pet is doing, and I want you to feel relaxed knowing your dog is enjoying a safe and happy. I have a fully fenced backyard that is clean, secure. It’s a great space for running, sunbathing, and potty breaks, and it’s especially safe for escape artists or jumpers 😅 Your pet will be supervised at all times, whether indoors or outdoors. What to Bring! Food: Please bring your pet’s regular food. I follow all feeding instructions closely, whether the diet includes dry food, refrigerated meals, or both. If you provide treats, vitamins, or supplements, I’ll give them exactly as instructed. Kennel or Bed: If your dog is accustomed to sleeping in a kennel, please bring it—there’s plenty of space. If they have a special bed or blanket that helps them feel more at home, you’re welcome to bring that as well. My home—both inside and out—is fully dog-friendly and designed to be calm, safe, and welcoming. Many dogs settle in quickly, and I prioritize a consistently positive, peaceful environment. Drop-off and pick-up times are flexible, but I do ask that we schedule them in advance. Drop-In Visits Before the first drop-in visit, I can come to your home so you can walk me through your pet’s routine and any specific instructions. We can meet in person, or if you prefer, we can go over everything virtually via phone or text. You’re also welcome to leave written instructions at your home. During each visit, I’ll follow your checklist closely—whether that includes feeding, potty breaks, walks, playtime, or companionship. I understand that life happens and plans can change. I’m flexible with reasonable situations and always aim to be supportive while giving you peace of mind. If there’s anything important I should know about your pet—dietary needs, behaviors, medical concerns, or socialization preferences—please don’t hesitate to share. The more I know, the better the experience will be for everyone. Thank you so much for trusting me with your furry baby! 🐾 I'm currently attending an online college, so I have a lot of free time, but I still want to work with animals. I'm usually free all week, but I would ideally like to work three days a week. I fully welcome indoor dogs, I have a very spacious home and provide a safe environment for them. Outdoors are a bit tricky with my dogs but I have fenced sections in my backyard where I'm able to separate client's dogs from my own.
Borderland pet parents share their Rover experiences
Jessica provided a level of service unlike anything we have experienced on Rover. She accepted our request at the very last moment and immediately put us at ease. Not only did she provide exceptional care for our dog, but she also sent countless photos and detailed updates throughout each drop-in visit. When we returned, our dog was happy, calm, and clearly well cared for. Jessica is incredibly thoughtful, attentive, and reliable, and we are beyond grateful for the care she provided. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for truly exceptional pet care.
