1. Gabriella S.
“Gabriella is a very reliable young adult attending SCAD and LOVES dogs. She owns her own dog and takes extra special care of her dog Ollie including being responsible for annual check ups etc. She would take the extra steps and go above and beyond what you would expect from a dog walker, as she is more than that! She has done alot of dog babysitting as well as walking the past few years and is highly sought after to do this. I highly recommend Gabriella to help you with your dog's needs.”
2. Ella-Rose B.
“Ella Rose is one of the most trustworthy individuals I have had the pleasure of knowing. As a devoted pet owner with four dogs, it is essential for me to find someone who I can rely on to care for them. Ella provides me with peace of mind, demonstrating a keen attention to detail and vigilance with our energetic pets. Additionally, I consistently return to a clean home, as if no one has been there during my absence. Ella Rose embodies kindness, patience, cleanliness, and respect, making her an ideal choice for animal care”
3. Amy M.
“Rover knew what it was doing by matching with Amy. She is a second to none pet caregiver. My dog simply loved her from go due to her warm attitude and cheerful demeanor. My dog was fed and walked on time and she provided pictures of her and my pet playing together. Thank you for your service Amy and I look forward to retaining your services again soon.”

About: Price Lock: Your base rate will remain the same even if my prices increase in the future! Availability: I can often be very flexible, so even if you think it's unlikely, never hesitate to ask, I may be able to make things work. I may be starting part-time work and will update as necessary. House Sitting: I do require an in-person Meet and Greet for all new overnight House Sitting bookings. This is for safety as I will be in your home, and in the event of an emergency will need to know where things like water or gas shut off are. For established Drop-in clients, a brief tour of the home will of course suffice. I've had dogs in my family my whole life and have been an active caretaker for family, friends, and acquaintances since I was a teen. I've lived and worked with puppies and seniors, even special needs dogs. I'm comfortable with all breeds and varieties, whatever shape or form, high or low energy, timid or bold. I just love dogs! I treat every one I meet as if they are my own, and cater to each individual dog's personality and needs, even if they require extra TLC. When I'm with your dog(s), they are my top priority and focus. I have my own vehicle and other than health and family commitments, my schedule is open and flexible. All animals I spend time with I treat as if they were a part of my family, making sure they are safe, content, and their needs are met. Your property will also be treated with the same reverence and respect.
5. Megan S.
“Megan watched our entire farm for a week while we were away. She did an exceptional, conscientious job with all the animals. She was able to follow our instructions as well as making intelligent decisions on her own when necessary. Our dogs loved her so much that they were almost sad when we returned! We’d recommend Megan to anyone with any animal.”
6. Molly P.
“Molly is one of the best pet sitters we’ve ever had! She is easy to communicate with, obviously cares deeply for animals, and one of the few people we can trust with our pets. She puts extra care every time she watches or walks them, and we can tell our pets love her too!”
7. Sam P.
“Sam watches our pup for us anytime we go on vacation and she always takes the best care of him. We love knowing he’s getting lots of attention and he gets excited now whenever we have to drop him off!”
8. Maricela T.
“Great sitter will hire again!”
9. Annaliese H.
“Annaliese is amazing with our two older dogs, our younger pup and our two cats. She is a loving care taker, an excellent communicator and on several occasions has gone above and beyond for us. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a responsible, caring pet sitter!”
10. Candi W.
“Candi spent many years as a trusted and capable animal control officer for our county. That experience alone would make her a AAA petsitter with both the technical skills to care for animals and basic medical concerns/injuries. She fine-tuned those skills and developed a true "sense" with pets, particularly since many of those type of interactions find pets in stressed situations, where their behavior isn't always predictable. Candi managed all of these unique opportunities with grace, confidence and care. Her training aside, Candi is a treasured friend, whom I've trusted with my own pets over several decades, and recommend her without hesitation! Your furbabies will be in the very best hands.”
11. Hailey J.
“Hailey is a *fabulous* dog sitter. She has watched my dog Pepper for years and is great at figuring out what she needs, taking her for walks, and giving snuggles & enrichments at home.”
12. Dana D.
“Dana replied to a very last minute message and walked Moose as far as he could handle in this heat! So thankful that she was around to take care of my anxious pup :)”
13. Margaret M.
“Hi! I'm Peggy's daughter. I can attest 100% that Peggy is the BEST. She is actually MY go-to dog walker and sitter. My golden retriever Finn loves her and there's no other person I'd rather him with when we're away or need someone to be with him. She grew up in the home of a veterinarian so her heart and soul are really best for animals. Although she's a wonderful, kind, caring, patient, and loving human being too :) She speaks every animal language whether it's dog, cat, bird, horse, or cow. Or raccoon. We were the home growing up that everyone brought stray animals to or roadside finds that needed help. She has just retired and has too much energy to sit home so her first inclination of course was to spend time with animals and is putting herself out there to her local community. If you need someone to walk or care for your best furry friend-- Peggy is your gal. She is the perfect dog walker, cat sitter/feeder, etc.”
14. Aleah S.
“Aleah is a fantastic pet sitter and I would recommend her to anyone looking for care! I have relied on Aleah to watch my 2 elderly cats and Pit Bull for the past three years, and I couldn’t be happier with the care and attention she has given my pets. She has stayed in my home to watch my pets for up to a week at a time, keeping the place clean and tidy at the end of her stay. She also frequently comes by to walk my Pit Bull, always taking her for long walks and letting her run around. Aleah is communicative and responsible and I am happy to recommend her.”
15. Daniel W.
About: Greetings! I'm Daniel, I've been pet-sitting and dog-walking off and on for 16 years. I love animals: With me, you get a new friend for your pets. I believe in the Hawaiian meaning of "Kahu," that we should be guardians, stewards, and beloved attendants of our animal friends. I am able to devote highly sensitive heart-centered care for your pets for two main reasons: 1) I am a remote worker as a writer and healing coach, so I can be at home with our furry friends. I am not just feeding and walking your dog(s), I am providing emotional support and plenty of care (frequent outdoor breaks and walks, playtime, pats, massage, energy work, etc.). 2) I am devoted to the path of Buddhism and the healing arts, a path that cultivates empathy, thus helping me bond with animals (and other beings) and to be more attuned to their needs. I have been on this path for 16 years. I practice Eastern techniques of energy work (qi qong and martial arts) and I am a certified Reiki practitioner, so I love to connect with animals as part of that practice (they are great conductors of energy, which is only ever healing and calming for them to experience). In all I do I aspire to the highest level of performance and etiquette. My high standards of conduct will reassure you that not only your pet but also your home are in good hands while you are away: I promise to treat your pets and space as sacred; to maintain a clear boundary between me and your possessions; and to leave no trace (except maybe leaving the space cleaner :)). Thank you for your trust. I would be happy to chat about sitting or walking for you. After meeting me, I am sure you will know your pets and home are in good hands. I look forward to joining you and yours' in friendship. Warm regards, Daniel I will be available to be at home with your pet for most of every day that I am sitting. My only obligation that takes me out of house are walking other dogs (1 to 3 hours per day, and then the occasional social or other engagement. I will never leave your pet alone for longer than 5 hours. As a remote worker, both for writing and offering healing/coaching services, I work from home and am therefore able to maintain a comforting presence for your pet and provide frequent outdoor time, play, and other care. I recognize the great trust that people grant me in caring for their homes and pets. Integrity is a guiding value of my life: You can rest assured that I will honor my commitment to care for your space and pets with the utmost attention and respect. I'll honor your instructions for being in your house and caring for your pets. I always live lightly, use no more than I need and am permitted to use, and I leave no trace. Thank you for your trust. Daniel

17. Amanda M.
“I have complete trust in Amanda as an animal care giver and as a person. She has looked after my dogs and farm of 25 horses. She is reliable and capable!! As per my opinion one of the most quality individuals ever made :) You will not go wrong trusting your critters to her. Dr. Nicole Hamilton”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 10, and I’m currently the proud owner of an 8-year-old rescued Black Lab mix named Lady. Friends and family have often trusted me to walk, feed, and care for their dogs, giving me experience with a wide range of breeds—from energetic Jack Russells to loyal Black Labradors. Lady and I love exploring different trails around town, making every walk an adventure! I’m self-employed and run an online e-commerce store, which gives me a very flexible schedule, allowing me to care for your pets with ease. I’m available both weekdays and weekends. Your pet’s safety and comfort in their own home are my top priorities. I provide trustworthy, reliable care while respecting your space and routine. You can count on me to keep your pet happy and secure, giving you peace of mind while you're away.

About: ***New Note on Profile*** I recently welcomed a new addition to my family, an Austrailian Shepard puppy named Sapphire 🤗 she was born May 12th 2024. With her being my new best friend & fur baby, I am most interested in entertaining clients and bookings where she is welcome to come along with me. If this is not possible for you or your pets & home, please skip requesting me and pursue another sitter. Thank you! About me: I have been actively building my pet sitting network of beloved clients (2 legged & 4 legged) since 2020. These past 4+ years sparked the beginning of a dream come true I didn’t even know I had. From all the positive experiences, connections, and adventure I’ve had with animals during this time in my home state of Maine, the future is looking bright as my network and experience grows. My favorite part of this all by far is the growing connections and continuing relationships between me and my favorite pets and their owners. From weekly repeat dog walks to being families go to for overnights in their home or mine, I really love deepening connections with returning clients as well as meeting and forming special loving connections with new pets and their people as well! And, of course, the adventures, snuggles, hugs, kisses, toys, and treats make it all the more fun. 😊 As a person with a background in holistic energy work and the healing arts - yoga, reiki, herbalism, permaculture- I have a strong connection with the heart & soul of each animal, plant, person, and all of Nature. When it comes to pets, I recognize they are our allies and best friends, as well as often times our healers, teachers, and of course our beloved family. Since I was born and throughout my childhood into adulthood I have always had multiple pets in my home at any given time so I always love and am most comfortable with animals with me and around me. As an animal and plant person by Nature, I “speak their language” and make it a priority and joy to tune in with their needs whether just being together sharing space or enjoying exploring life together. When at home (mine or yours) I am quiet, peaceful, tidy and neat. I believe that being a strong loving presence wherever we are and improving the spaces we visit to leave them better than we I found it is one of our greatest purposes in Life. Your pets and home will be very well taken care of, at ease, and loved with me by the grace of God. I have somewhat of a green thumb (I have been studying, learning, and practicing year by year) and am an aspiring herb & food grower, forager, folk herbalist, and novice yet passionate baker. So, your plants and gardens can also be well cared with me with your instructions. I have some homestead and farm experience - horses, chickens, goats, gardens, and am willing to learn other livestock care as well. I also have also had experience caring for reptilian pets in the past and am open to snakes, birds, lizards, rodents, fish, you name it. If we agree it’s a good match and I’m taking care of your home, just tell me what you want & need taken care of and I’ll do whatever I can to make sure you come home to a happy and comfortable home, almost like you never left! Rover is fun for me because you never know who you’re going to meet! I am open to all kind and loving humans and animals. As long as you have good virtues, love life and all around you to the fullest, I’m sure it will be a good match and it will be an honor to support each other. I currently work part time pet sitting and part time as a manager of a coworking and event space in Bath, Maine. On any given day I can be found taking dogs on adventures in the midcoast area peppered in with 2-4 hour shifts at the coworking space managing daily operations and events. When pet sitting in hone for your animal(s) I am typically available to be with them or bring them with me on adventures most of the day, and request bookings where pets can be left home unattended for 2-4 (5 hour max including commute time for 4 hour work events) increments to accommodate my work schedule. In your home I will follow your instructions and duplicate however you care for your pet & home. You tell me! I love going on walks, hikes, playing ball, frisbee, doing doggie playdates or adventures, and I am as adventurous as your pet needs me to be. Does your dog loves a walk on the beach or a fun hike? I know a spot! Jump in, let’s go! But if they’d rather stay home, play in the yard, and snuggle that’s great too. 😊
