“Matthew did a great job taking care of my dog while I was away. I scheduled drop in visits and he was very easy to work with. Definitely would book with him again in the future!”

About: I am not afraid to give medications, I walk as long as the client desires, I don't cut corners with the care I offer. I make my clients' schedules my priority. Pet-sitting is a full-time passion for me. My schedule is basically open. Filling my time with pet- and house- care also fills my heart. This is what I love, helping people and the animals in their lives. I get all the vet and emergency info when I first meet the client. I ask about plant care, mail retrieval, the pets' typical schedule, and locations of important and necessary items for the animals' care. I take care of things the way I would want my own house and pets taken care of.

About: I love pets and especially dogs. I have had and been around dogs my entire life. I interact very well with pets I love playing with them, walking them, and showing them love. I am an entrepreneur, who’s schedule fluctuates often, which makes me pretty flexible. I workout in the morning, I own a cookie business, and would love to hang out with some cute pets! Whatever is expected from the client, I will do. On top of making your pet feel loved, comfortable, safe, and of course having some fun!

“Really liked Lucas! He paid great attention to detail and genuinely cared for our cats. He also took a lot of pictures which is very appreciated. :)”

About: I’ve had my dog Teddy for three years, and my cat Squash for two. I love animals of all kinds and have been asked by family and friends since a young age to help them take care of animals. I’m gentle with touch but firm with my voice, love to train and spoil them, and adore going on walks. Your pets will be in good hands with me My schedule is really open right now, so I’m available for whatever your pet may need. I understand how important schedules can be, which is why I like being flexible. I’m very good at making sure that all the necessary tasks are met first when I get into the house, then if I’m allowed to, I usually try and spend a little time with that animal to gain their trust.

About: In a personal and professional setting, I have taken care of lizards, frogs, crabs, shrimp, insects, mice, dogs, cats, deer, chickens, goats, sheep, fish, both native and tropical, and rabbits. I was born loving animals and quite enjoy learning new things about them. I greatly enjoy meeting new pets of any variety, and quite enjoy getting to know them. I am incredibly patient with animals and have a respect for their own personal selfs. I work full time, but I am usually free from 3pm to 10pm on weekdays. My weekend days are typically free anytime. I would love to figure out times between these frames, as I am typically flexible if given enough time to prepare. I was formally in the military, so you can be assured I know how to follow instructions. I do love to have a written list of tasks and care instructions. I am generally knowledgeable of baseline care, but I will gladly follow your instructions. I am incredibly respectful of others' spaces, and will be as clean as possible while in anyone's home. My general rule with any animal is patience and repetition.

“Lindsey is a wonderful pet sitter who takes excellent care of our furry troop! Right out the door, when we first met her, we got an excellent first impression. She is very warm and friendly and was great with our pets! When we came home after our week away our pets were relaxed and happy.”

About: I've had dogs since I was an itty-bitty. They've always been a part of my life & I can't imagine a home without them. My wife and I have had Airedales for the past 15 years. Our first couple of 'Dales came from a rescue, which we have since fostered many dogs for & adopted others from. Today, we are a 3 dog household; 1) Zosey is our spunky 5 y/o female whom we've had since she was an itty-bitty 2) Ellie is our most recent foster-turned adoption; she's very shy & very sweet & is also around 5 y/o 3) Rooster is our goofy 9 y/o boy, whom we've had since he was 6 mo old, & doesn't have a mean bone in his body We have a 0.5 acre fenced in front yard on our beautiful 16 acre farm, just a few minutes west of Columbia. If you can't drop your pet off, that's fine, I can pick them up for you! I just opened Bear Hill Land Management LLC, which is a company that sells skid steer services, so I'm unfortunately not very busy during the holiday season. But this means I have more time for your dog(s) so they don't get lonely. As I mentioned before, we have a large, fenced yard & 3 wonderful dogs that're used to new dogs because we've fostered so much in the past. There'll be ample romp & play to partake in. We do have a crate & still have baby-gates throughout the house so separation can be created if that makes your pet more comfortable. I'll even sleep in the guest room with your dog if they're uncomfortable in the master bedroom with my 3 pups. If watching them at your house, I'll simply try to recreate your typical routine as much as I can, or just watch a movie & snuggle them.

If you need anything that isn’t listed, please feel free to reach out and we can discuss if I can help provide that service. Rates are negotiable. I’m currently on maternity leave until January so my schedule is wide open and flexible. After my leave ends I will be working full time in Columbia but will still check on your animals 2-3 times a day if asked to. Rates are negotiable. Currently I only offer watching pets at my clients home. This lets your pets maintain a sense of normalcy and calm while you are away. About: I grew up in the country surrounded by all types of animals. Pups, cats, bunnies, goats, guinea pigs were all part of my life growing up and giving them a good life meant the world to me. Regardless of the animal it's gonna get a world of enthusiasm and love. I'm currently a full time student but I have time during Wednesday, Fridays and weekends that I would very much like to spend helping take care of pets. I think the best way to keep any pet safe and cared for is to simply be present. That and being mindful of any special needs or wants of the pet.
