“I hate to be honest here. For fear that Kate and Ken will not be available when we need them in the future. They were so attentive to Tripp. Their dogs and our dog played so much. I received pictures and videos daily showing the smile on his face. We don’t have a yard as big as theirs. Or other dogs for him to play with. So this was a real treat for him. They understand our dog’s communication style. Let him be a dog. Play like a puppy. But also balanced it with the guidance and directions he is used to. Both Ken and Kelly were exactly what we hoped for when we signed up for care. We drove 40 minutes to drop him off and pick him up. Both my husband and I believe it is worth it. About: I think that life is about being happy and animals of all shapes and sizes make me happy! I have had multiple pets all of my life, from bearded dragons and snails to cats and dogs but now I have settled with my older toy rat terrier pup and my fat orange cat! I was able to achieve my pet first aid certification through the American Red Cross but it since expired (they are valid for one year) but I thought it was worth mentioning that I have been trained. I work in Columbia M-F but live in Holts Summit, MO. I am willing to work in Columbia, Jefferson City or Holts Summit. I’m working full time but can do check-ins/walks during my lunch break, before 8am or after 5pm on weekdays. Weekends are much more flexible as I don’t work on Saturdays or Sundays. I am comfortable with crate training and of course fenced in yards are great! I have no issues with walking pups on a leash. I live in Holts Summit where we have a leash law so leash and a decent harness would be required for stays with me. I have a huge yard to walk them around in!
