“Samantha and Jesse did a wonderful job taking care of our very senior cat Tuffy with drop-in visits. They kept us posted on how she was doing and what she was up to with daily photos and communication. We would definitely use Samantha and Jesse again for any pet care needs.”

“Ashley was amazing! Our outdoor kitty was home alone while we traveled and we didn't want her to feel abandoned. Ashley came every morning, checked in on her and gave her some love. Perfect arrangement. We'll definitely ask Ashley for help again.”

About: I’ve had a deep love for animals since I was a kid, and I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 7 years old. My first dog was a beloved member of our family for 12 wonderful years, and since then we have welcomed three more pups into our lives. One of them is my own, Nala, a pitbull mix who is truly my entire world. I have experience with dogs of all ages, including geriatric dogs and those needing regular medication. In addition to dogs, I’ve had rabbits since I was 11. My current bunny, Minnette, will be 14 this August after losing her bonded partner in 2021. I’ve also regularly cat sat for friends and family and am comfortable with feline care. Over the years I’ve rescued many dogs and volunteered at the Animal Protective Association, also known as APA, in St. Louis where I gained hands-on experience with a wide variety of breeds and temperaments. I have a particular interest in dog body language and behavior. I love learning how to make animals feel safe, understood, and happy. Whether your pet is playful, shy, elderly, or energetic, I will be attentive to their unique needs and treat them like family. I just graduated college at Mizzou, and am taking a gap year before I begin graduate school next fall! This means I have plenty of time and my schedule is wide open to care for your pets. <3 I have always been an avid animal lover-- not even just dogs, but all sorts of pets! I have had my bunny since she was 1 year old and I was 11, and she is now about to turn 14 next month! I have also had dogs since I was 7 years old! I grew up with my childhood dog, Louie for 12 years. Now, I have my own dog, Nala. I have had her for about 3 years now, and I consider myself to be a helicopter parent (ask anyone haha)! With that being said, I am ALWAYS paying attention to details, instructions, and am very vigilant about making sure your pet is getting everything they need. As I do with my own pets, I will give that same attention and dedication to yours!

“Once again, Whitney has been exactly what our kitties needed while we were away. She is prompt, spends time loving on our pets and makes sure all of their needs are met. We can tell by the photos that our cats feel safe with her. We are grateful to have such a wonderful sitter. Highly recommend.”

“Ashley is a great pet sitter. She watched our older cat and gave him his medicine every day and lots of lap time. She met with us in advance to discuss all the needs. Highly recommend!”

“Elizabeth lovingly cares for our cat and always gives a thoughtful report each day. We appreciate her communication with us and the detailed care she provides Lucky. We are lucky to have found her!”

“Liane did a wonderful job taking care of our 2 cats. She was available on short notice and made time to come meet and greet ahead of time. Highly recommend and will request again in the future.”

“I had Maia do drop-in visits for my two cats while I was on vacation this month. She was wonderful. She did an initial meet-n-greet and was very pleasant. While I was away, she completed each daily drop-in and sent me a meaningful update with several pictures. This helped ease my mind tremendously. My nearly feral cats (around strangers) were even eating treats out of her hand a couple or so days in and she sent pics of that. Very reassuring! Maia even put out bird seed daily for me so the wild birds I feed wouldn’t go without. Maia was as pleasant as they come. Her personal and professional experience with animals made me feel so much better leaving my pets under her supervision. Highly recommend Maia!”

“Megan kept our cat, Stephen, happy and well fed. She dropped in every day to check on him and give him attention. Everything was in great shape when we returned and Stephen was not distressed that we were out of town for several days. I would definitely hire Megan if we are away from home again.”

“Molly is amazing! She came over a couple of times before we left town to ensure she had our routine down. Professional and responsible. Would definitely recommend her to friends, family and anyone else!”

About: I have always had a natural love for animals. Ever since I was a little girl, I have felt my purpose in life was to care for every kind of animal. I have had pets since I was 6 years old and I now have a dog of my very own. I am organized, efficient, and compassionate when tending to the needs of animals. I also previously worked at a veterinary hospital and doggy daycare. I learned lots of valuable information about animals and their needs. I also gained lots of experience of the “not-so-glamorous” tasks of maintaining the health and cleanliness of the pets’ environments. I am currently available for pet care in the evenings after 5pm Monday through Thursday. I can check in and take your pet for a walk, feed them dinner, and play. I am organized, efficient, and compassionate when tending to the needs of animals. I also previously worked at a veterinary hospital and doggy daycare. I learned lots of valuable information about animals and their needs. About: Growing up, I was a part of a program called Human Animal Bonding in Colorado, where I was taught how to connect top dogs emotionally, socially and verbally and use those skills to apply to real life situations, breaking me out of my social, insecure, neurodivergent shell. I've grown up with six big terriers, so I know my way around big, cuddly, dogs. My best friend is a German Shepherd named Ziva. I currently work part-time shifts that can go from 7-2 (Tues), or 7 - 11 (Wed), or 7-4 (weekends). I wish to pursue my dog-loving passions and possibly turn it into a career, alongside with my first responder training, and I hope starting Rover will do that. I take care of big dogs, numerous cats, and six other types of animals at home, so I can't have other animals at home due to the unfamiliarity. I am looking for extra activities, ones that consists outside of work and home because that's all where I am ever at these days. I just moved to Missouri, and I hope to find show the love I have for animals to places beyond my home. I have all kinds of necessary dog/cat accommodations. I have crates if needed, toys, extra food, leashes, etc. In my home, I have two big dogs who are trained to stay on 30 acres of property, they co-exist with barn cats and other various animals. Because of the other critters on the land, I do have to let them outside every time I leave the house. I had a dog that received special medical treatment every day and had to be watched regularly as he grew mean and tiredsome due to his deteriorating health. Fortunately, he is in a better place, but it shows that I can manage and care for dogs all of different behaviors and necessities and if I can use some of that stuff for other dogs, I've love to.

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was little! I grew up on a farm & then during college I worked for a dog training facility & cared for many dogs there as well! I have a dog of my own! She’s super friendly. But I won’t be bringing her with me on calls unless talked about with you first!

Chelsea is willing to flex to meet the needs of not only my dogs but also my schedule. She has helped me out on short notice on multiple occasions and is consistent with the care she provides. I have no problem recommending her for walks or longer periods of time if you’re looking for someone responsible to help with your fur family!”
