I work 2–3 days a week with the Coast Guard in search and rescue, so while my schedule changes, it also gives me plenty of time and flexibility to focus fully on caring for pets when I’m off. On those days, I’m home and available to provide round-the-clock love and attention, making sure your pet feels safe, happy, and cared for. My puppy, Odie, is a friendly little companion who loves making new friends, whether that’s playing together at the dog park or enjoying nice long (or short, depending on your pet’s needs) walks. I really value good communication, so we can touch base at the beginning of each month to set up a routine that works best for everyone. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your pet is not just looked after, but truly loved as part of our little pack. When caring for a pet — whether in my home or in the comfort of their own — I make sure they receive the same love, attention, and structure I give my own dog, Odie. I start by getting to know each pet’s unique personality, routine, and preferences so I can keep things as familiar and comfortable as possible. This includes sticking to their regular feeding and water schedule, ensuring they have bathroom breaks as often as needed, and making time for play, walks, and rest throughout the day. If they’re staying with me, they’ll have a warm, welcoming home environment with plenty of opportunities for playtime — from fetch in the yard to fun trips to the dog park if that’s something they enjoy. I also make sure there’s time for naps and quiet moments, so they feel calm and relaxed. For in-home visits, I follow the same thoughtful care — maintaining their space, keeping things clean, and respecting their normal routines.

About: I've had dogs my whole life. I'm very comfortable with big dogs as I've always had Golden Retrievers. After my kids grew up and moved out and the last of our fur babies passed I decided to spend my time enjoying others dogs like my grandbabies and giving them back! I still love dogs and being around them would enjoy helping with your needs. Long walks or short walks I usually walk 5miles everyday either way. I'm not working anymore so this gives me something to do that I enjoy and not something I have to do but rather enjoy doing. My husband passed from cancer so I have alot of free time . I walked dogs at Canine for Service also and loved that. Overnights are welcome also. Walking, playing , potty breaks and feeding are very fitting for my schedule, I would come to you for your needs.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 7. At 10 I walked dogs for my parents friends and neighbors. I love dogs and cats! I’m retired and wanted something to do that I enjoyed. I love animals and would love to spend more time with them and exercise with them! I have fenced yard my home and two fur babies that love company. I can crate if that’s what what you prefer we will keep them company so they won’t feel alone.

About: Over the years I've had experience with all stages and ages of pets, especially dogs, but also including horses, chickens, fish, guinea pigs, bunnies, cats etc. I've raised and cared for my own pets from puppies to elder dogs, special needs to the most energetic (or anxious). I've taken in some willful and anxious fur babies that have thrived and became amazing loyal, obedient and loving companions. I have also been blessed with 4 amazing grown kiddos that have pets of their own and I get to care for them often and its the best!! Most of my/my families pets have been rescues but we've also had/have several pure bred Animals (Long-haired German Shepherd, Newfoundland, Maltese, Blue Pittie). I like to make sure the fur babies get lots of love and exercise, but its also okay if your pet is a bit more stand-offish. I truly appreciate when pet parents leave information about routine, pets personality and preferences and will follow instructions meticulously. Special needs, medications, puppy care, etc are also welcome (of course!!). Feel free to ask any questions...look forward to chatting and meeting you/your fur babies. I am an empty-nested Mom and Mimi with my kids' families being spread around CO, NC, TN, GA, STX so I travel to see kids/grandkids/family...a lot...and I love it. This gives me the flexibility to do house sitting/pet care around those visits (in some cases, I've done sits near my kids as well and check both boxes, pet care and visits with the fam). I'm looking to pet/house sit almost full-time around family visits. I'm also VERY open to traveling to pet sits outside my home base area, overseas as well. I lost my little Maltese "Smiles" a few years ago and have poured my snuggles into my kid's 6 dogs. With my travel schedule its hasn't felt like the right time to add a new pet to my personal life so getting to love on my families' pets and those that I sit for really helps fill that void. I only care for pets in your/their home. I am primarily looking for overnight sits, but will also be available for walks and drop-in care.

I have experience with large dogs and small dogs, as well as cats and small animals like hamsters. When your pet stays at our house they are allowed in bed and on our furniture. The only thing I ask is that your pet is kid, dog, and cat friendly :) If you would like to bring your animal to my house I would be more than happy to watch them here, but if you would rather me come to your house that is fine too! I do offer drop in visits at your house but am unable to stay there while you are away. When your pet is at our house they will be loved and spoiled like one of our own pets :) *Updated 11/01/2024- I am a stay at home mom of 5 kids and a full time pet sitter. I will send pictures of your pet while you are away but I do only send pictures every other day unless it is a one night stay or Doggy daycare. (you'll get pictures that day!) If you are interested in having pictures sent to you every day or are interested in any additional services, I do charge an extra fee which can be discussed and added on when booking. :) Also, I do usually send my pictures and updates in the evening. About: I have always had dogs through my whole life and find that I naturally bond with them. All of my dogs through my life have been adopted. I have taken care of senior dogs with food allergies (gluten, and grain), hip dysplasia, and blindness. I have trained and have helped trained many puppies. I currently have two dogs as I always do, my youngest is 2 lily my ball of energy adopted at 1 year, and my Enzo he has Addison's and is on a daily medication, and monthly injection to stabilize his Addison's Disease. Enzo is 9 but a puppy at heart, he doesn't let his illness slow him down he was a beach dog I fell in love with while on vacation in the Barbados, he was estimated to be 4 at the time, I had a vet on the island quarantine and vet him (shots/neutering) and one month later I was back to get my love. We have been diagnosed and dealing with the Addison's for two years now and he couldn't be happier or healthier. I have boarded dogs in the past for about 10 years now, I also foster dogs in need of homes on occasion. I have no problem with puppy training, or senior care, I have dealt with food restrictions, medication administration, and physical limitations. No dog is to big, to small, to young, or to old for me. I am a stay at home mom, of one son whose 3 my dogs and I walk the trails behind my home daily, and a few times a week take an evening stroll on the beach. Aside from the grocery store or occasional errand I am home and with them all day. I have a very large back yard with three separate runners put out, for the dogs to hang out together, and go potty. We take daily walks for exercise, and no dog is ever left unattended outside. I have a big comfy sectional for there relaxation. I have no problem with separating to feed if your baby is more comfortable that way, I personally don't crate my dogs but have no problem if your dog is more comfortable crated at night, or while running an errand. I don't mind bathing, brushing or clipping nails at your request.
