“Thank you Lindsy, my baby Millie had a wonderful time with you and your family. She came home happy and tired from playing and napping all day. I appreciate your accommodation and kindness, we will be booking again for sure, probably today!”

“Jharasen was amazing! We were in town for a wedding and needed a last minute sitter and Jharasen pulled out all the stops, even picked and dropped him off! Highly recommended!”

“Annie was amazing! I have a reactive dog and she was more than willing to accommodate her, she knew exactly what to do to make her feel comfortable. I will definitely be rebooking with her in the future!”

“Natalie and her husband took care of my three sweet rugrats very well! She was generous to let all three sleep in their bed as well. I appreciate them so much and will definitely be using them again when a trip comes up. Thank you guys!!!”

“This was my first experience with Rover and I was very pleased. I was able to enjoy some vacation time and not worry about my dog. Kendra provided excellent updates with how he was doing throughout his stay. Would definitely recommend and use her again.”

“Ashley was great! Chang looked like he was having a great time in his pictures that she sent to me. I’m very appreciative of her being comfortable with Chang being old and having several issues. I will definitely be using her again!”

“Carrie took great care of our pit bull Sox in her home while we were out of town for a couple days! She sent daily updates with pictures and videos to assure us he was doing well. Her whole family gave him much love and treated him like their own. Will definitely be using her again!”

“Amy is a very nice and approachable person and really knows her stuff when it comes to dogs I must say, having lots of them at home herself. I was very pleased with the care she puts towards axle. I would really recommend her if you’re going on vacation to leave your pups in her care, you won’t regret it promise. Every time I texted her to check on my pup she answer almost immediately and told me everything was fine. 5 stars for her and thanks Amy for your work.”

“I was very hesitant to leave Cookie with just anyone. A friend advised Rover and Ronald’s profile was one of the first to come up in my area. Not only did Ronald provide the security and knowledge I needed to feel comfortable but also Cookie’s security as well. His family’s home is cozy and has more than enough back yard that allows dogs to run freely. He provided pictures on a daily basis that helped me stay positive but also helped give Cookie the confidence she needed. I am happy to have found someone that I can trust and feel comfortable leaving Cookie.”

“Couldn't be happier with the care our dog received. They kept us updated with photos and messages, and it was obvious our dog was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. They treated him like one of their own, and we came home to a relaxed, happy pup. It's such a relief to know we have someone we can completely trust. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dependable, caring dog sitter, and we'll definitely be booking with them again!”

“Having just traveled across the country, we found ourselves staying with relatives for a time while we waited for our new apartment to be open for us. Our standard poodle, Ranger, was not understanding why we never seemed to be going home, and that was what he wanted most to do. We were very thankful that our relatives had been able to accommodate us, however, having Ranger in their home was not working well for them. So, we looked for a rover.com care person in the area to help us out for the days until we could move into our apartment. That’s where Dee came in. She was gracious and accommodating. She opened her home to Ranger for ten days, and made him welcome. In other boarding situations in the past, he was cared for, but he ALWAYS lost a considerable amount of weight. Not with Dee!! Dee gave Ranger all of the TLC he needed even during this time that was so uncertain for him. She got her hands right into his food and mixed his Fresh Pet food with his kibble so that every piece of kibble was coated with the tastier food. And it worked! Because even though he may have been missing us, he ate! And he didn’t lose any weight! We could tell she had gone the extra mile with him, and we are very grateful for the care she gave him. Five stars doesn’t even say enough for how happy we are with the care she gave our Ranger.”

“Nicole was great with my goldendoodle Kingston. She kept me updated from the time I left, and each day after. She sent me photos of him playing with her two dogs, and a German Shepard that was there one day on a play date. Kingston was well cared for, and judging from the photos he had a ball while there. He was able to run and play in Nicole's hugh backyard, and Kingston also had a dedicated room in her house to nap/sleep. Nicole is a fantasic sitter and I could tell that she loves dogs. I would definitely reommend her services if you need a dog sitter.”

“Chino was well taken care of while I was away. Chino is shy and when I picked her up she did not seem shy at all with them, especially with Shannon's lovely daughter. I would recommend her and she also has a privacy fence surrounding her backyard, which put me at ease also.I would definitely ask for her services again!”

“Great experience! It’s hard to find someone who doesn’t prejudge a pit bull. My sweet girl got to roam the house and yard, cuddle on the couch, and had such a great time with Russell. He provided photos and quick responses before and during her stay. Will definitely use again!”

“Heather is an amazing sitter! We got picture updates everyday and was fast responding. Whe. When we had issues getting back home, she was completely understanding and was flexible with how much our plans had changed. I will be booking with her from now on!”

“Kimberly too excellent care of our Scooter while we were away. I was apprehensive about leaving him as this was the first time in 12 years that we have boarded him. Kimberly sent pics often and spoiled him so much! Highly recommend her.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Boiling Springs
Brittany and her family were awesome with our dogs. She eased the concerns my husband and I had boarding our beagles for the first time ever. Lots of pictures and a couple videos of the girls were nice to see and eased our nervousness of our girls first sleep over while we were out of town for a couple days of r and r. Unfortunately we had a later pick up than scheduled and idealdue to construction on our trip that was unfortunate and uncontrollable. However Brittany and I worked out these details to help plan better for the next boarding service through Rover.

Many sitters in NC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
