Melissa P. helped me out in a pinch after moving to the area, and it was great. Lots of updates and photos plus one happy puppy who was ready for a nap when he was picked up. Will absolutely be using again.

About: Hello! My name is Ana! I can help with boarding, day care and dog training (basic obedience, behavioral modification, socialization, potty training, desensitization etc.) I love working with dogs and have been doing it for a long time. I live in a house with a lot of space for different activities. Whether your dog is crate trained, roams the house, has special needs or on medication I can adjust to your pup’s needs. I want to provide the best care for your animals while you’re away. You will receive plenty of picture updates and a happy pooch in the end. Please message me with any concerns or questions! Thank you! I work from home, therefore I have plenty of time dedicated to the pups staying in my care. I do dog sport competitions, so might not be available some weekends. Dogs are never left unattended! Temperaments are matched for play time and socialization. Overnight dogs stay in crates to ensure a calm and safe space for each pup.

About: I have experience with all types of dogs. From senior disabled dogs who can’t walk anymore and have a lot of medications to take, to young pups learning and discovering everything. I also have experience with trained dogs so I’m able to reinforce training on walks or at home. Pet care is an integral part of my daily routine. I spend time outside with my own dogs multiple times a day, and when I have boarding dogs, they join in on the fun! My Huskies are well-trained and independent within our fully fenced property, allowing me to focus on my boarders. I typically walk them on-leash to ensure their safety and give them the attention and exercise they need. Whether it’s structured walks, supervised playtime, or just relaxing outdoors, I make sure each dog feels comfortable and cared for throughout their stay. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for boarding dogs. Our property is 2.5 acres, but because we have local wildlife, I always keep boarders on-leash when outside the designated play area. We have a smaller secure, fenced-in space that serves as a dog park where dogs can safely enjoy supervised off-leash time. I introduce new dogs gradually, with my boyfriend always helping when integrating them with our own dogs. For extra-shy boarders, we start with a structured “walkabout,” keeping everyone on-leash to help them feel comfortable before closer introductions. Inside, I make sure every dog has their own space by using the guest bedroom and office as designated areas. Meal times are managed carefully—each dog eats separately to avoid food-related tension, either in their crate or in a separate room. At bedtime, I have limited spots available in my bed, but I do love snuggling up with my furry guests if that’s what makes them feel safe and at home. Whether they prefer their own cozy space or staying close, I ensure every pup feels comfortable and secure throughout their stay. If they are used to sleeping in their crate, they are welcome to do so as well.

About: I’ve been a dog owner for 4 years now, and having my little daxie, Dolly has given me SO much joy! My family have always adored animals and there was never a time where we didn’t have pets throughout my childhood, whether they were cats, rats, guinea pigs or fish! I learnt to care for them from a very young age and have loved all animals, large or small, ever since. I will take any chance I can to care for my friends and family’s pets, because it brings me so much joy and I’m hoping to welcome lots of lovely dogs into our lives! Whether it’s a young, hyper puppy or a senior dog that needs more rest or reassurance, you can be assured that all of your pets will be cared for with love, kindness and patience ❤️ I’ve recently moved from the UK to the US with my husband for his work so I now have full time availability throughout the week to care for my own dog Dolly, and hopefully many others. This means that I can provide my full attention all day, allowing plenty of time for toilet breaks, outdoor time, play and walks! I will always arrange a meet and greet before agreeing to board any new dogs in our home to ensure they are comfortable and compatible with Dolly and any other dogs boarding at that time - all of the dogs safety and happiness is my main priority. We have a fully fenced garden with a mix of natural grass, concrete, dirt and pebbles so plenty of terrain for the dogs to explore. We also have lots of space for play time indoors and allow for plenty of cuddles on the sofa when the dogs need a chill!

About: I give personalized care, puppy training support, and gentle senior care—all with lots of love, attention, and updates you can count on. I will love and spoil your dog like my own two. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine as a stay-at-home mom. I’m home most of the day, which means your dog will get plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship—not long hours alone. Walks, playtime, feeding, and potty breaks are easily built into our schedule, and I love including dogs in our home. I have a fenced yard and two Boston Terriers who love to play to keep your fur baby occupied. But they also love to sleep if your pup enjoys that. I have two girls who love animals and will love to help care for your babies. We are home most of the time we also provide care.

About: I have grown up with dogs. The past 10+ years I have cared for other peoples dogs. I understand how uneasy people feel about leaving their pooch in a Kennel, simply because their dog is their world and they would rather have their dog have home comforts whilst you are apart. Married but we have no children so am able to offer a calm environment for those dogs that are mature or nervous of bangs and loud noises. Likewise I have the time and energy for those dogs that need a little more play time. I have a neutered schnoodle that is mature enough to chill but also enjoys a play. I work part time from home. So I am able to offer your pooch a lot of time and love, be it walks or just company. I have an enclosed, secure garden, mainly walled with gated access which is locked. It is completely private. It is not a large garden, but it certainly offers a dog enough space to stretch their legs, chase a ball or just chill on the patio.

About: I’ve cared for dogs for 33 years. Including but not limited to walking, feeding, hygiene care and administrating multiple medicines. Familiar with seizures as well. I have pets of my own so tending to animals is a routine to me and my children for a daily routine. We have cats and a small dog. Our cats and dog are mainly inside animals. With my dog going outside to the gated backyard whenever she wants. We also have a gated pool so the animals will remain safe.

I'm just here to meet any necessary needs from my clients. I am extremely responsible, I understand the importance of having someone you can trust to love your pets as their own while you are away. I'll treat them like my own! I guarantee to not leave you down not a bit! I always like to do meet and greets in advance for first time guests before any booking is approved. Please allow enough time for the meet and greet to be scheduled before your booking. Just in case I and your furry pals don’t get along, you’ll have enough time before your booking to find another sitter. I generally don’t take last minute bookings because I like to do meet and greets, but due to the circumstances given sometimes I will accept bookings! Please give me a call/message if you think I'd be a good fit. I'm always willing to work something out with my clients when it comes to $$$ especially . I can't wait to meet you and your furry pals ! ( Meet and greets before are important!) I also pet sit animals other than dogs as my schedule allows - Cats, Birds, Reptiles, rabbits, pocket pets, & other exotics. If your pet will be fine staying at your home/my home and you would like my services to feed, play, hang out with them while you are away, etc please contact me. I will be more than happy to come over for a Meet-N-Greet! I love working with animals and have worked in various animal shelters as a volunteer and have worked in clinical settings as well as a vet assistant! So I have quite the experience you would say with animals and such. I have a cozy 2 bedroom home with a fully enclosed backyard. Your furry friends will get the run of the house and be treated like a family member. They will be free to come and go, in and out of the backyard (whether there used to the inside or outside ), as they please and be showered with love and affection. Sleeping will be the same: on their bed or mine. I love to snuggle! I have a dog of my own who I keep in the backyard kenneled when I'm boarding clients and she WILL NOT INTERACT with your pets AT ALL as she is very dog reactive and I'd like to save both parties from a situation. If your pet needs to be crated that can be arranged although I keep the animals I'm boarding and taking care inside for the most part free roam and do as they please. If crates cant be provided I have my own (Varies etc.)

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Boiling Point

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of July 2026, there are 4,538 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Boiling Point. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Boiling Point commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 4,538 sitters in Boiling Point, 86% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
