About: Kevin, Twig and I love meeting new friends, playing, and going on adventures. We have so much love to share with your furry family member! We adopted our best friend from a shelter in 2018. Our family goes on excursions every day. Whether its roller skating, river walks, dog parks, or hiking, we stay active until we crash in a puddle of cuddles. We have cared for dogs with special needs that include unique diets, medication administration, and behavioral concerns. We look forward to supporting and getting to know you and your fluff ball. We are able to take as much time as your dog needs to socialize and get their wiggles out. We usually have a long activity in the morning, then we come home for some breakfast and a nap. We take several 15-20 minute walks through out the day and we play games in our backyard to keep our minds busy. We are huge animal nerds that can't wait to invite another friend into our hearts. Our house is very dog friendly. We will be sure to keep you updated on how your doggo is feeling. For the safety of your dog and ours, we are not able to watch dogs with open wounds that are unprotected. We are also unable to watch dogs with spreadable illnesses or bug infestations.

About: My 3 pups are my world. I have a 4yr old teacup shih tzu, a 6year old shih tzu and a 14yr old shih tzu. I understand pets at all stages of life. I specialize in small breed but I have cared for all (including cats, goats, chickens and pigs). I am comfortable administering meds as I’ve done it for my senior. I have no issue with special needs pups as my mini required a lot of special specific care through puppy stage and still in day to day life. I’m comfortable with doggie diapers, crates, litter boxes/robots, leash aggression, playpens, securing halters, multiple dogs on walks, “accidents” etc You will relax and feel comfortable while you’re away knowing I will make sure your baby is safe and well taken care of whether it’s within my house or I am visiting yours. I communicate very thoroughly and seek answers and information when needed. I am able to make good judgment calls as well as capable & equipped to figure out the unexpected. :) I live in a “tiny home” on property - I have doggie steps to get on the couch / bed - my pups have an outdoor deck to hang out and play on as well as an outdoor fully doggie fenced in play area to run and tons of toys and doggie beds. Extremely dog friendly home. I currently work from home with my 3 shih tzu pups, so I will have the flexibility to make sure your pup is a priority and the availability to communicate throughly when needed. Flexible for changes. I want you to feel comfortable while you’re away. I know how stressful it can be leaving your loved one. As you can see from my photos my husband and I take our pups everywhere - I feel anxious when I have to leave them with someone else and really only have a select few I feel I can trust. I want to be that for you. My house revolves around my 3 small pups. I understand the importance of setting pups up in an environment for success and making sure they are safe. Must be provided by client: Dog food and treats Dog collar Dog leash Dog harness Daily activity included with your purchase: Supervised free reign of shade and rain covered backyard (see profile photos). 2 meals per day unless otherwise specified (food and treats must be provided by client as to avoid stomach upset) NOTE: If no food, or not enough food is provided, I will happily feed your dog what I feed my dogs, however I am not responsible for any digestive issues that may result. Note: In the event of a potty accident, I do use dog diapers from that point going forward. Diapers are always freshly washed for your dog. Lots of petting, toys, and play! Note: Dogs enjoy unlimited water access, however, are cut off before bedtime, usually around 7pm-8pm. Individual dog crate with a bed for sleeping. I have large and extra-large crates dedicated to clients' dogs. NOTE: I always recommend supplying a blanket, sweater or something with familiar scents to your dog for the sake of their acclimation and comfort during their stay. 1 photo update (around 2pm) of your happy fur baby per day! If more frequent photos are desired, please don't hesitate to ask! Photo update includes a picture and any relevant information about your dog's health and wellness (are they eating/drinking normally, did they get a cut on their foot during play and how did I treat it, etc.). Disclaimers: It is required that your pup/pups be on flea/tick medication at the time of boarding/daycare. In the event of a health emergency, there are animal hospitals close to me, however they have conventional hours of operation. As a result, outside conventional hours, I would be required to take a trip to Chico, CA where there is a 24-hour animal hospital. NOTE: An emergency contact is required.
