“Youpi had a fine time with Lorrie and her dogs. That's unusual for him because he's usually afraid of big dogs and I was a little concerned about that. But with Lorrie's calming effect and the dogs' friendly attitude he learned that not all big dogs are scary. She credits that with the fact that they are foster dogs and have seen many boarders come and go. It was a great relief to know that he was safe and I was able to get my work done without feeling anxious about him. Thank you Lorrie for the wonderful photos and video. It worked out great!”
About: I have worked as a detection dog handler and gun dog handler for a few years now. I have also trained my own dog to complete multiple tasks for different purposes. I know how to get your pup tired mentally and physically while having fun and have the patience necessary to help them learn new tricks and become familiar with a new place! I have a flexible work schedule so rest assured that your pup will get plenty of exercise and will play fun games throughout the day! I also live very close to a fenced tennis court (if your pup is into tennis balls and fetching) and a fenced park with soccer fields. I provide a safe and clean environment with a fenced yard and a friendly and playful dog to keep your pup company. I have an extra crate (size XL) if your pup is crated-trained. I also have lots of room to accommodate your own crate inside my living room. I have a doggie treadmill (Dog Trotter USA Inc), which we use to keep our dog active during very hot weather, and can use for your pup as well if interested! I always follow the owner’s instructions closely. Dogs are never unattended for long periods of time, and I always monitor them to make sure they’re feeling safe and comfortable at all times.

Right now I am waiting for a new job to come through. So I have a lot of time on my hands. Im available for all shifts including boarding , overnights or just for a couple of hrs . I can tailor you needs to what you are exactly needing and wanting . I have a fenced area for potty and a 5 acre walking area or playing area . I also have a sweet fur baby that loves to play. Or if yours isn’t friendly with others I can kennel her. If you would like your dog to be kenneled that’s fine too or if you would like them to roam free (my preference) they can do that as well. It’s your fur baby so it’s up to you not me .

About: Hello! I have taken care of pets since I began volunteering at 12 years old at the Niagara Falls Human Society. Almost 30 years later, I am still dog obsessed and run a small family breeding program as well as a School for breeders. I am home full time with my dogs and horses, your pet will get lots of attention, exercise and individualized care when you choose Hope Lane Kennels! I take dogs for walks around our property, we have a beautiful, fenced 10 acre loop that we go for lots of walks on. About: I grew up with dogs. I have been living in a house now with 4 Shih Tzus ranging from 1.5 years old up to 16. I've gone through potty training all the way to eye drops. I am also owned by 5 cats so I am well versed in litter boxes and finicky eaters. I work full time Saturday through Wednesdays from 7am to 3pm. My housemate and partner works Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. There is almost always someone home to take care of the dogs. It is no issue for me to stop by before and after work for potties and so on. I am pretty much a low key person so hanging with the fur kids is about as exciting as I get. When I am sitting in someone's house I like to spend time with the pet. I make sure that when I leave the house I secure the doors, windows, etc. I am respectful of belongings and space. I like to make the fur kids feel like nothing is all that different as much as possible. If I'm just dropping in for walks/potty time I like to spend time with them for their comfort and stimulation. I'll make sure water is refreshed and food is full and boxes are emptied.

I have large and extra-large crates dedicated to clients' dogs. NOTE: I always recommend supplying a blanket, sweater or something with familiar scents to your dog for the sake of their acclimation and comfort during their stay. 1 photo update (around 2pm) of your happy fur baby per day! If more frequent photos are desired, please don't hesitate to ask! Photo update includes a picture and any relevant information about your dog's health and wellness (are they eating/drinking normally, did they get a cut on their foot during play and how did I treat it, etc.). Disclaimers: It is required that your pup/pups be on flea/tick medication at the time of boarding/daycare. In the event of a health emergency, there are animal hospitals close to me, however they have conventional hours of operation. As a result, outside conventional hours, I would be required to take a trip to Chico, CA where there is a 24-hour animal hospital. NOTE: An emergency contact is required.
