About: I’ve had my own pets (cats & dogs) for over 2 decades. My pets are my life! I currently have 2 Senior dogs. Im the go-to that sits for all of my friends’ pets. I’m comfortable with all ages of dogs and cats. I have no problem cleaning up messes or giving meds. I will treat your pups and kitties with all the love that I give my own. I’m often entrusted with extended and live-in care, and I take stewardship of both pets and home seriously. I’ve cared for a wide range of animals and situations, including long-term dog sitting for a couple over several years, from weekend trips to multi-week stays. Before a period of travel abroad, they even flew me to Portland to care for their dogs, Sana and Osa, and their cat Ninja during a three-week wedding trip to Mexico. Sana required extra sensitivity and daily car rides to a quiet cemetery to avoid overstimulation, which I was happy to accommodate. I’ve also house- and pet-sat for a senior couple, caring for two cats, two chickens, and managing a daily bird-feeding system for local avian visitors who were dear companions to the homeowner. In another sit, I tended to a rescue crow and her two cat companions for a full month while the owners were in India studying Vedic astrology. In many of these situations, I’ve also been responsible for watering plants, collecting mail, maintaining routines, and simply being a reassuring human presence in the home—keeping things running smoothly, lights on, and the house clearly lived-in while owners are away. I’m very comfortable accommodating unique requests and supporting both pets and homes with care and respect. I work remotely with a flexible schedule, which allows me to be present and adapt my day around your pets’ needs. I’m able to accommodate feeding schedules, walks, medication, playtime, and companionship, and I’m open to coordinating routines that support your pet’s comfort and wellbeing. I provide care in my clients’ homes, maintaining their pets’ normal routines and environment. I focus on calm, attentive presence, safety, and clear communication. I’m comfortable administering medication, managing feeding and exercise, and keeping the home clean, secure, and lived-in while you’re away. I treat each home and animal with respect, discretion, and care.

About: Been a proud owner of goats, cats, chickens, reptiles and dogs. I've had experience in the veterinary field, worked with and cared for livestock and house pets. I am currently working full time as a CNA, my schedule is kinda wacky. I work PM shifts from 2:30pm-10:30pm, on a four on and two off rotation. In my own home I have reptiles and three cats and one older dog around. If your pet is staying with me or I’m keeping them company in your own home, I always am engaging with the pet. Any opportunity to play and have some fun, we’re doing it! If they’re more laid back and want to snooze next to me, I will relax with them.

About: from young puppies to elderly pets, i can accommodate most situations and work my hardest to make your pet feel at home!! with land for trained dogs off leash or a nice clean living room for the inside cat i work for myself at home, so can be attentive and on call all day for your pets specific needs. i work in a garage just a few minutes walk from my home! may parents have a small dog in their cabin, and i have labradoodle that stays with me, or in her own home. lots of space for the trained dogs off leash to roam, or a place for the dog that needs a fenced in run!!

I'm recently retired from a long career as a professional equestrian and horse trainer, and I'm excited to begin this journey of offering pet care services to the community! I have experience with all types and ages of pets ... from very young to very senior. I have experience administering medications, giving injections, and basic first aid. My lifestyle is active, and I'm happy to provide whatever exercise that your pet needs, whether that is a long trail hike, or simply walks around the neighborhood. And lots of love and snuggles of course :) I also have extensive horse experience, and limited experience with other livestock, and I'm happy to provide services for those animals as well. I currently work from home and have an extremely flexible schedule, which allows me to work around whatever your pet care needs are. I have a reliable 4 wheel drive vehicle, so I can get to some of the further out Nevada County destinations no problem. About: I’ve been caring for animals since I could remember. It wasn’t until I was 17 and a few staff members somewhere I attended started getting bunny’s and needed help caring for them, that’s when it really sparked for me. I’ve worked with so many amazing pets and owners since starting rover and it has been beautiful, I would love the opportunity to provide my services to your furry family. I currently have open availability as I’m waiting for my beauty school start date. I Will update my schedule as soon as I have my class schedule. Depending on the area you live in, I will pre pick the route (unless the owner has a preference on route), duration, and distance from my location to yours. I will ensure your pet has all the necessary gear for their walks by your preference (harness, specific leash, booties) I provide water and a collapsible bowl so they stay hydrated as well. I can provide gear if needed (leash, small or large harness)

About: I grew up with dogs, cats, and all sorts of animals in our house. We would often foster animals growing up, and had two dogs in my childhood. My partner and I committed to a new doggo for us in August 2020 - a cuddly, loving Cavapoo named Bebe. I love being outside with her, and we frequently run together, play fetch together, and stretch together. I have also loved teaching and training her since her puppyhood. Potty training, sit, come, fetch, dance, down, roll over, walk, run, stay, big jump, up, down, and more. We have her crate trained and think that the mental stimulation in this regard is very important. I'm actually playing fetch with her right now! I am an Assistant Director at a summer camp and work 30 hours a week from home in the non-summer season. I generally take the dogs out in the morning for about an hour of fetch and stretching and morning poop, then do some training with them in my lunch break, and then go for a run or walk in the evening after I am done before dinner. I am neat, tidy, and responsible. I am an eagle scout, and was always taught to leave a place cleaner than I found it. :) If I am staying at a home, I will bring my laptop and work from there, and keep my routine similar to the schedule outlined above.

About: Offering a safe home away from home, compassionate care, and peace of mind for pet owners is something that all pet sitters should be offering. I go far beyond this standard providing both care and training. Since I was a child, dogs and cats have gravitated toward me and I've always enjoyed their companionship; you can almost always find me with at least one dogs around. It's never been an unruly mass of teeth and paws though; I've always taken the time to teach my furry friends to walk on leash, to have immediate recall, to be polite in kitchen, and to use their voices kindly. I do the same with every animal that I am given care of, gently coaching them to be civil, furry companions while showering them with love. I am currently working from home and set my own schedule. I have a set daily morning and evening walk which your pup(s) will join. During the day, you pup(s) will have company of two dogs, three cats and plenty of pets from me. On weekends we go on adventure hikes. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company during the day. I have crates, leashes, grooming tools and home made dog beds for all pet care needs.

About: I love being with older and disabled animals. I have my experience from working in Animal Shelters for about 2 years, doggie daycares, pet crematories and also petsitting for different companies and myself over 20 yrs. I am a full time traveling pet/housesitter with my 14 yr old pup. I have owned many animals throughout my life and have experience with meds, subQ fluids, end of life, aggressive dogs/cats and finicky pets. I'll treat your babies as if they were mine! About: *Prices are negotiable, and of course depend on situation/timing* I love all animals and have had many kinds since I was really little... mice, chickens, horses, and everything in-between. I have experience with small dogs, large dogs, all different breeds and ages. Same with cats and other small animals. I am also stronger than I look, and have had a lot of experience with very large, very strong dogs... even with walking a few of them at a time. I trained my own dogs since I was about 10 years old, so I know how they think, and a lot about their behavioral functions. We also bred a few of my cats and dogs growing up, so I have a lot of experience with new born pups and kittens, all the way up to senior. I love doing fun activities with dogs and cats, so I don't mind making sure they stay active and have a lot to take their mind off missing their parents!

About: I have experience caring for dogs aging from 8 weeks to 15 years. I had 4 dogs of my own, I now have 2. Experience includes: potty training, positive reinforcement, disciplining unwanted behavior with vocal tones and hand gestures, playing/exercise, cuddling/affection, feeding, giving medicine, etc. My schedule is mostly flexible right now so I am available to do any day of the week and can work in the early afternoons to late afternoons. I am in good shape, and I can handle larger and more energetic breeds. My neighborhood is dog-friendly with plenty of streets and dirt trails to the lake to walk or run on. About: People often say I have a way with animals. They always seem drawn to me immediately, even when they are wary of others. I feel honored that animals feel this way about me because I feel the same about them! I have cared for many dogs of all sizes as well as owned cats. I have volunteered at a dog rescue in Thailand that has many disabled dogs as well as fostered cats/kittens here at home. I have a big fenced yard with both grass and forest to run and play. I don’t have multiple dogs staying with me at one time ( unless discussed in advance) so your baby will get all the attention. Although I will never replace you, I can provide love and safety until you return (and probably some treats and adventures too!) I'm currently not working and can dedicate my time to pet/house sitting and care. As you can see from my photo gallery, I love all animals and have volunteered at a dog rescue in Thailand, fostered kittens at home, and have seen very cool animals in the wild and at animal rescues/sanctuaries around the world. (I always vet them to make sure they are ethical and doing legit work) I have a large fenced yard and indoor space for cats or dogs. We have plenty of shade and are also willing to take pets with us on outings. I live with my husband and son and they also love and respect animals. As far as caring for pets at someone else's home, I can stay at your house or check in as often as needed. I will play with them, feed them, bathe them, take them places (if requested) and give them love. I know they miss their people and its not the same without you, but I do my best to make them feel safe and comfortable.
