About: Animals were my first passion since I was very young and their welfare continues to be something I care deeply about. I studied veterinary medicine in college and have experience working in an animal hospital. Therefore I have been trained to administer any medications or special dietary requirements as your pet may need as them. I have been pet sitting for over 4 years now as well and love meeting new animals! I am a full time student so my schedule is not super flexible, but I am available all day Saturday - Monday, Fridays after 11 AM, and Tuesdays and Thursdays after 5 PM. I understand that pets thrive in their schedules and will do anything I can to fit into their routine as it is. It’s very important to me that you and your pet are as comfortable and relaxed as can be in your time apart, so I am very open to any requests regarding regular safety or care routines. I will take care of and attend to your pet as if they were my own and make sure they feel loved.

“Payton checked on our cat while we were away and I can’t thank her enough! She took care of all of Bean’s needs and I could tell in the pictures she sent that Bean was excited to see her every time. She was polite and conscientious; I’d recommend her to anyone!”

About: I have been caring for pets for the past three years, earning the trust of friends, family, and clients who rely on me to keep their pets safe. During this time, I have been working with Wag!, and since I recently moved, I am starting to work here as well. I have completed over 400 walks through Wag!, along with several sittings and boardings, leading to many repeat clients and happy pups. I am comfortable working with pets of all sizes and temperaments. In addition to my client-based pet care, I also work at Animal Friends Shelter, where I learn new things about quality care, medical needs, and behavioral needs every day. When I'm not working, I enjoy hiking with my dog and continuing my education. I am a member of Pet Sitters International, from whom I have received my insurance. They offer monthly courses focused on quality in-home pet care. I am saving up for their professional pet sitter certification and hope to complete all their coursework soon. Additionally, I am a supporting member of the IAABC Foundation, which is led by animal behaviorists and trainers. I am following some of their continuing education courses, combined with my hours working at the animal shelter, to earn their credentials in shelter behavior. I currently work part time with a flexible schedule and can change my availability as needed. I have a two person home with my husband who can also help out (for boarding in my personal home) if I had to leave for an emergency I live in a large house with an unfenced backyard and multiple safe areas set up for pet care. I have two cats and one dog in the home

About: I have always loved interacting with animals, they are a joy to be around. Pet sitting has always been a fun opportunity for me to earn income since middle school, and now that I am embarking on my law school journey, I hope to continue that trend. I am comfortable assisting dogs and cats of any age. I’m dedicated to your pets comfort & happiness, and will treat your pet how I would hope you would treat mine, like family! I have been employed as a full-time nanny in the cheat lake area for the past three years. I will be starting law school at wvu this August! During the week, I will not be confined to a classroom all day, and will be sure to communicate my availability when you reach out with your pets needs. We have a spacious, fully fenced in backyard. Your pet will also have free range of our finished basement. Pictures of the space available upon request! While your animal will not be confined to a crate in our home, we do prefer that they are house and crate trained.

“This review is quite different from what most Rover clients wrote. I haven't met Kira in person, but she replaced her older sister as my Rover sitter since the latter graduated from her university. So, Kira followed her sister's instructions on my cat and took several pictures of my cat.”

“Abby was amazing and I will definitely ask her again in the future. I received regular photos and updates and came home to a spotless house. Seeing my normally skeptical cat getting more and more comfortable and relaxed in the photos I could see he was having a great time with Abby.”

About: I have been house/pet sitting since I was 10 years old. Pet care, household chores, getting mail, lawn care… whatever you may need while away or at work! I am a grad student at WVU, so I make my own schedule. I am free all weekends and evenings, and can always check in/walk during lunch breaks! I must come to you, for I live in a small apartment. I believe pets deserve to be somewhere familiar while their family is away!

“Megan did a great job at keeping me at ease while being away from my cat. She kept me updated on how he was doing and I was so glad to see he warmed up so quickly to her. She extended her visits without a second thought when my plans changed.”

About: I’ve looked after animals since I was two years old. Growing up on a small farm in Ohio, I learned to care for an array of species. From goats and guinea pigs to dogs and cats, they all hold a special place in my heart. I have experience taking care of all ages, young and old, as well as animals with special needs. Now that I am pursuing a degree and live in Morgantown, I pet sit for friends as well as care for my own cat, Kodak. I’m excited to expand my pet care services to the community of Morgantown and provide quality care for your fur babies! I’m currently working part-time as well as in school full-time, so weekends work best for me! I’m available to pet sit most weekends, but I can normally be flexible with weekdays as well. On weekends, I’m able to spend the majority of the day with your pets to ensure they receive all the love and attention they need while you’re away. I can stay overnight if that is needed as well. I can easily crate dogs if requested and follow your care directions to the t!

About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was 8 years old, volunteering at local shelters and helping family, friends, and neighbors with pet sitting. Over the years, I’ve gained experience with dogs of all ages, including senior pets—my own pup is getting older, so I understand the patience and gentle care they need. I’m also comfortable with basic grooming tasks like bathing and brushing. Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I treat every pet like they’re family. Caring for animals is something I truly enjoy and take seriously. I’m currently out of school with open availability after 10 AM and on weekends. I always prioritize your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine, and I strive to create a calm, loving environment where they feel secure and cared for. You can trust me to treat your pets with the same love and attention I would give my own.

About: I have been caring for animals since a very young age. Growing up I had a border collie named Peanut, and a frog named Freddy. My parents taught me to care for the both of them from a very young age, and that has led me to now having pets of my own in my 20’s! I have a rescue Westie mix named Maxx, and have recently gotten a kitten with my girlfriend, named Pickle. Neither are currently with me now as I have just moved to West Virginia, and are with my girlfriend back home in Ohio. I understand that every pet is different, and I feel that I am great at adapting to their personalities, preferences, and needs! I am a full-time Athletic Training Masters student at WVU, who has classes in the morning as of now, so overnights and afternoon/evening appointments work best for me! As a guest in your home I will treat you and your pet with the utmost respect. I do not mind being outside with your pet if they need a set of eyes on them most of the time, but I also know when a pet needs time to themselves. I am very comfortable around all types of animals, and will have no issue fulfilling any requests you make.
