Her sweet, thoughtful updates kept us smiling while we were away & reassured us that he was happy & well cared for. Megan truly went above & beyond in every way. If you’re lucky enough to book her, do it—you won’t regret it! She’s a solid 11/10 in our book, & we can’t wait to have her back!”

About: Hi! I’ve spent years sitting and walking dogs for friends and family, so I definitely know every dog has their own personality and am happy to cater to them and take whatever time is needed to make them the most comfortable! Growing up there were always 3+ dogs in the house including puppies, seniors, and dogs with disabilities, so I’m equipped to handle all stages of life and different needs! I am patient, understanding, experienced, and ready to give your dog the most loving care! As a student with a part-time job my schedule is pretty flexible! For dogs, that means consistent walks, potty break, and feedings that match their normal schedule. For cats, regular feeding times, litter maintenance, and plenty of attention if they prefer it! Since my shifts change week to week, I will always confirm availability ahead of time and communicate about timing! Your pets safety is my top priority, in your home or mine! I live in an apartment, so I’m mindful about creating a secure, calm place, free of hazardous foods or items. I treat every pet in my care with the same level of attention I’d want for my own, so you can feel confident your dog or cat is in a safe and comfortable environment.

About: Hi Loving Furparents, My lifelong passion is interspecies communication, animal care & behavior, ecology, and environmental conservation. I have grown up communicating, training/learning, caretaking, and translating for animals my entire life, and I continue to follow my passion for animal care, rehabilitation, conservation, and helping others learn to listen and communicate with animals. I have recently lost my soul dog and partner of nearly 16 years to osteosarcoma. I have experience learning life lessons our senior friends teach us; to slow down, smell the wildflowers, enjoy the little things in life, lead with empathy, lend a helping hand to one another, and be grateful for the moment we have together. I have experience with caretaking during mobility issues for both animals, using help-em-up harnesses and wheelchairs. Additionally, I have awareness and understanding of training needs when the human is afflicted with chronic illness and mobility impairments, such as helping the animal to learn and be mindful of unsteadiness, fall prevention, etc. My current SDiT and I are working on counterbalance, DPT, crowd guarding, behavior interruptions, and some preliminary scent work. Additional Background of Experience; I grew up in the area with a variety of species throughout the years, from cats & dogs to horses, rodents, fish, chickens & guinea fowl to turtles, etc. This experience came with interspecies management, learning to hand-rear animals, helping animals learn core life skills, assess and rehab injury, hospice care, etc. Later, I completed a multidisciplinary degree from WVU with concentrations in Wildlife Management and Conservation Ecology. At WVU, I completed curriculum including a Service Dog Training course where the dog I worked with (Gretel) graduated the following year to become a certified therapy dog at Chestnut Ridge. Additional courses included Animal Behavior, Equine Hoof and Limb, Equine Assisted Therapy, and Exotic Animal Medicine, among others. Since graduating, I have compiled formal experience working with both domestic animals, wildlife and protection of their habitat. I had the privilege to work abroad in Botswana, Africa at game reserves where we were able to rehabilitate animals, provide game drives, supplemental feeding etc., and interned at Mokolodi Nature Reserve in Botswana, Africa, caring for animals in rehabilitation. I currently work full-time, which unfortunately limits my availability to primarily evenings and weekends at this time. Well-behaved, socialized dogs may be able to join during office work days. I am considering transitioning to full-time animal training, should it be feasible, which may allow for additional availability in the future. Additionally, I am navigating chronic illness after long covid through schedule modification and mindful movement during caretaking. Thank you for your understanding schedule limitations during this transition. Please communicate with me your dogs needs i.e.; whether your pet has separation anxiety, medical needs or food allergies, usual routines that make them feel safe, enrichment or husbandry that helps positively stimulate them mentally and emotionally, triggers to be mindful of/avoid, whether they have off leash recall or there are chase drive trigger concerns and they must stay leashed at all times, and anything else you feel is relevant so we may collaborate on their care plan to provide them the best support. I do have a large crate available for dogs that are most comfortable with crate training when it is necessary to leave them at home. Our geriatric cat Fluffy lives in the home with us (please alert me to dogs that have not been socialized with cats), there is a rescue parrot in the household, and I have a ~55 lb rescue and SDIT who is very friendly and loves having someone to play and run around in the yard with. She was a family member to my geriatric dog with mobility concerns before his passing, and she has experience with older dogs and cats.
“Jen was awesome! Our doggie Noel had so much fun! I love that she kept us updated the whole time. She also works with you on drop off and pickup times, changes in schedules, etc. She helped make it a pleasant first experience for us and for Noel. Her home is a perfect setup. We couldn't have been happier. We highly recommend her for future clients. We will be using her in the future for sure.”

“Michelle and Luke were amazing taking care of our Zeke. He got plenty of love and exercise while we were away. He was even a little sad about leaving. Michelle made sure we got updates and sent pictures to ease us as this was the first time leaving him that wasn’t family. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs someone to take care of their pets. They won’t disappoint. Thank you Michelle and Luke!”

“She was able to watch my dog on very short notice and willing to give meds not noted on my profile as they were only temporary. She sent lots of photos, was very responsive, and it looked like she treated my dog like her own. 10/10 would have her watch my pup again - thanks, Sophia!”

“I couldn’t have asked for someone better than Payton. My cat is pretty picky about who she likes but instantly came up and was interactive with Payton. I was gone for about 2.5 weeks and I have absolutely no complaints. Further, it was easy to trust Payton with my key to my home and my cat. My apartment door lock even had a problem mid trip and Payton handled the situation very well. She gave me the best pics of my kitty daily while I was gone. I highly recommend her!”

“McKenzie took wonderful care of our dog Nala while we were away for the weekend. She communicates well, responds quickly, and sends lots of pictures. Absolutely will be booking with her again for our further trips. You can trust that your fur babies are in excellent hands with her!!”

About: I have taken care of cats since, well, forever! My family has always had cats as beloved pets and I have extensive experience cat sitting for friends and family. I am more than happy to stop in (or hang out for extended periods) to feed and water your kitties and provide care, love, and play for them. Litter boxes do not scare me. Cat vomit does not scare me. I am happy to clean up after your kitties. I get along well with cats and know my boundaries with certain personalities but also love to snuggle up to cats who like lots of attention.

About: I've owned cats for years now, and they are the highlight of my day! Bean and Sprout recently had their yearly wellness are are doing wonderfully. I'd love to get to meet your little (or big) ones!
“Taylor did such a great job watching my two kitties!! She sent a lot of pictures and updates, was able to give my cat his eyedrops and medicine while I was away and it was comforting knowing they were in such good hands!”

“Alaska helped from the beginning when I was confused entering the dates I needed for my cats. She was very reliable taking care of my three cats, even with a snowstorm changing her schedule. I received daily reports and pictures of Buster, Mr. Friendly. No sightings of Spots, but I warned her of that. They were cared for, well fed, and scooped up after, and unfortunately had to have some barf cleaned off the floor. Thanks for taking good care of the cats.”

“Arabella was great! She was conveniently close to where I lived and was amazing with my pup Leo. She also was helpful and willing to clean his crate out when he had accidents. I know that’s expected/part of the job but still can not be fun obviously.”

About: My big sister was a Dalmatian my mom had before I was even born. My first cat was at age 3. Since birth I have been around and cared for many different types of animals. They range from the dogs and cats in my family, my grandparents horses, to the various small, furry, AND scaly critters I've kept over the years. Currently have a dog, cats, fish/shrimp, a frog, a snake, and geckos! Let my love and encyclopedia of animal knowledge be used to your advantage!

About: I have taken care of cats since I was a teenager, and have my own cats since 2010. I love to play with them, cuddle with them, and give them a hairbrush every week. I helped my big boy cat lose 3 lbs in two years, he is much healthier now.

About: My parents have a cat I grew up with, so I understand how to care for cats with different personalities and routines. I also have taken care of my neighbors dogs and cats while they have been away so I have experience in short-term care for pets. I’m comfortable with feeding, litter box upkeep, and giving space when needed, but I also know how to earn a cat’s trust and make them feel comfortable while you’re away.

About: I grew up with 3 cats in the house and currently have two of my own, so I know cats inside and out. Their independence, their quirks, and the ways they communicate. I've raised cats from tiny kittens all the way to adulthood, so I'm comfortable with every stage of a cat's life, from playful kitten energy to calmer adult routines. I've also cared for a cat with an FELV, so I understand the extra patience, attention, and gentle care needed. Whether your cat needs playtime, or a quiet companion, I'll treat them with the same love and attention I give my own.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a pre teen. I’ve grown up with dogs, taken care of family dogs and I worked at a doggie daycare for over a year! I’m a current full time student at WVU, I do set aside time for homework and studying, but I would love to make extra cash and to hang out with some animals! I have a Hound mix, 4 years old who loves everyone! He is extremely friendly with all dogs and humans. We also have a crate however we do not have to put him in one anymore.

About: Taken care of friends and family’s cats in the past. I have kitten experience from fostering two sweet boys, and handling vet appointments and medication. Plenty of experience taking care of all types of cats from volunteering at non profits within Morgantown.

“We needed a dog sitter while visiting WVU for the day. We found Megan and were happy to use her doggy daycare for our Takoa. Megan communicated with me often and checked in about how Takoa was doing with her dogs. He had such a fun time with her amd loved her 2 labs! We will definitely reach out again when we are visiting the area and highly recommend her!”

“Solar was amazing with Drako! He was very flexible and understanding with my last minute booking! I tend to get nervous with new sitters but I did not feel that at all! Will definitely be booking with Solar again!!”

About: I’ve been taking care of animals as long as I can remember. From taking care of my own pets to helping others out with their pets, I love providing the pet care an owner needs help with and a pet needs. Growing up, I lived across the street from my great aunt who bred and showed Great Danes. From a young age I remember sitting and watching out the front window for my aunt to come home so I could call her and ask if I could come help her with her Danes. When I was 10 years old, I started my own dog walking/pet sitting business and I have helped numerous families out with their pets while they were out on vacation or just needed help getting their pets outside for some exercise. After college, I worked at a local pet store and have gotten a lot of experience with dogs, cats, fish, guinea pigs, and birds. I also have helped care for horses over the years. I love hanging out with animals and spoiling them like I do with my own pets. I am comfortable taking care of multiple pets and fur babies of all sizes. I have a very flexible schedule. I am available for full time or part time work. I am currently a stay at home mom, so my availability is fairly free, but it varies from week to week. I am pretty flexible and willing to work with your schedule. I let my pets out multiple times a day and take them on walks. I love to take my pets out on hikes as well.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats my whole life and I love to play with them and take them to the park and play fetch and run with them and have them happy. I’ll be happy to be your dog sitter or cat sitter and you enjoy your day! I would baby sit them in there own environment so they feel safe around me while I pet sit for the customers and have the customers feel safe to
About: I've spent my whole life surrounded by animals—caring for everything from playful puppies and cuddly cats to bunnies, ferrets, and more. I’ve fostered kittens, helped them grow strong and social, and supported pets through every stage of life. What started as helping family, friends, and neighbors has grown into a true calling. I have experience with pets of all ages, medical needs, and those requiring special attention—like blind or deaf animals who need extra patience and care. Whether it’s daily check-ins or last-minute sitting, I treat every pet like family—because that’s how I’d want mine treated too. I work from home and I make my own schedule. So, tons of time for walks, play-time, bathing, and cuddles. Missing your fur baby? No worries! As a fur mom, I know how reassuring it can be to get updates, with pictures and videos, while being away from your babies. I have 2 pups and tons of toys that will keep your pups entertained, and space they can retreat to if they feel overstimulated. I live close to trails for enjoyable walks, for the pups that are properly safeguarded with prevention and vaccines for a walk through the woods. I have plenty of kitty toys and scratchers for my kitty friends, so they can have fun and keep their nails in tip top shape. My fur babies have a calm and safe environment, and we’d love to share that with your fur baby.

About: My husband and I are both full time DNP students allowing us to be at home 6 days a week. We have cared for our 3 year old corgi together, but have both had family pets previously. We are skilled in medications administration and emergency care for your fur baby! This is a child free, cat free and smoke free home. Daisy, our corgi, loves to play and make new friends. We are currently full time DNP students that allows us to be at home full time Sunday through Thursday. We are awake from the hours of 6am until 10pm. Potty breaks are able to have every 2-4 hours. Feeding schedules are based on your fur baby’s needs, however our dog eats twice a day once at 6am and again at 6pm. In our neighborhood we have a walking path that we frequently walk our dog with a leash on. Our dog loves to play with other dogs. Our home is tidy and nothing is left on the floors or within reach that could harm an animal. Our house is not located near any high traffic roads. Our back yard is positioned against an open field. Unless your dog is highly trained with good recall skills, I will not let them run free in the backyard for fear of them running away. Dogs are family in our home!

“Went to Fairmont for work and didn't want to leave my pup at daycare in DC for so long. Tracey was AMAZING!!! I may be the biggest worrier on the planet, but she put my mind at ease within an hour. Got so many pictures and videos of all the pups playing and eventually being worn out. Even learned that mine likes cats (I had a suspicion). I wish Tracey and I lived closer so we could visit more often. She would definitely be my go-to! If she's available next time we're near Morgantown/Fairmont, we'll be back. Thanks Tracey!!!”

“Gem was wonderful! She kept me updated, sent photos, and was very flexible while stopping by to walk my pups. Since Ivy can be a little unsure at first, she took the time to walk them separately, taking one out and then coming back for the other. Once Ivy warmed up, she was happy and comfortable. About: I’ve always loved animals. Growing up, my family had three dogs and a cat, so caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life. Now that I have my own dog, I truly understand how important it is to find a sitter you can trust. I treat every pet like my own and focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I know every pet is different, so I’m happy to stick closely to their normal routine and preferences. Whether they’re energetic, shy, anxious, or just love lots of attention, I’ll make sure they feel secure and cared for the whole time you’re gone Pet care is a natural part of my daily life since I have my own dog and understand the routines, attention, and love pets need. Most of my classes are online, so I have a flexible schedule that allows me to offer your dog multiple walks or drop-in visits throughout the day. I make sure pets get plenty of exercise, playtime, and attention, and I’m happy to follow their usual routines so they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. Being around animals is something I truly enjoy, and I treat every pet as if they were my own I offer drop-in visit and dog walking, and I tailor my care to each pet’s needs and routine. During visits, I make sure pets are fed, have fresh water, get potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and plenty of attention. I’m also happy to give medications, clean up accidents, and keep litter boxes or living areas tidy. For walks, I focus on safe, enjoyable exercise at your dog’s pace. My goal is to keep their routine as normal as possible and make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for while you’re away
About: I come from an animal loving family. I’ve had a dog and cat since I was 2, a Westie named Taylor, and 3 Maine coons. Once Taylor passed, we rescued Levi, our Pitbull, and other cats. I have babysat and housesat for neighbors and friends since I was little, with my moms help of course. In the past 2 years, I have housesat for my neighbor who has 3 Pomeranians, and I watch them often with no trouble. I am a full time college student and have classes Tuesdays and Thursdays in the afternoon hours. I do most of the housework in my home of 5 while staying on top of schoolwork. Pet care provides a nice break between responsibilities since I love animals! I have a fenced .5 acre backyard with a doggy door. Levi, our dog, does well with puppies, small dogs, and cats, but not anything else which is why I mostly offer services at your home. Exceptions can be made, just let me know! I can work around your needs!
About: As a lifelong animal enthusiast, my upbringing surrounded by pets—including large breeds like the Great Pyrenees and small companions—has shaped my understanding and care for animals at every life stage. With six years of experience, what truly sets me apart from other sitters is my holistic and adaptive approach to pet care, especially when it comes to the various needs of puppies and senior pets. I am committed to ensuring that each pup, regardless of breed, size or age, has their needs met! Beyond this, I believe in keeping pet owners updated with frequent, detailed updates because I understand how important it is to feel your cherished pets are in safe hands. Whether it’s through texts or video updates, you will consistently be updated about your pet’s well-being. I am currently a student at West Virginia University looking to fill my extra time caring for your loved ones! I only have a few classes everyday, and the remainder of the time is spent at home. With that being said, my schedule works perfectly to give optimal care to your furry friends! To care for pets in a client's home, I ensure they have fresh water, proper food, and engage in regular playtime. During walks, I use appropriate leashes/harnesses, avoid busy roads, and keep a close eye on the pet's behavior and our surroundings to ensure safety.
