I’ve grown up with animals and currently care for a few clients’ pets in Eau Claire — including a 3-week stay with multiple pets. I currently bartend and this allows for more flexibility and available for walks, drop-ins, daycare, or house sitting throughout the week — your pet’s needs come first in my day! I have no pets at my home so my casa is your pets casa with no interference. At my 8 plex building there is a much area to run around if they can be off leash otherwise the area is great to walk for potty breaks at anytime. I live in a safe, quiet and less trafficked area which will be great for walks!

Some pets want lots of playtime and adventure, while others just want a calm human nearby and a cozy place to nap. I’m patient and attentive, and I adjust my care to what each animal needs to feel comfortable and safe. I’m also very detail-oriented, so I’m happy to follow specific instructions for feeding schedules, medications, walks, or routines that help your pet feel at home. Whether it’s a high-energy dog who wants to play or a shy pet who needs a gentle approach, I’m comfortable meeting them where they are, no matter their age. Clear communication is important to me, so I send photo updates and notes so you know exactly how your pet is doing while you’re away. And fair warning: your pet will probably receive an unreasonable number of butt pats and head scratches. I have a flexible schedule, which means I can give pets plenty of attention, playtime, and care throughout the day. Walks, feeding, and check-ins easily fit into my routine, and I make sure pets get the time and interaction they need rather than just quick visits. I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal schedule as closely as possible so things feel familiar and comfortable while you’re away. I have a large fenced in yard and have our own dog, Terry, who is desperate for someone to play with outside. We also have three cats but there is a gate separating the upstairs from downstairs so the cats can hide if they feel uncomfortable. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my priority. I take time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and any special instructions so they can feel relaxed and cared for while their humans are away. I take care of your babies like I would want someone to take care of mine. I’m attentive to details like secure doors, leashes, feeding instructions, and medications if needed. I also keep owners updated with messages and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. My goal is to create a calm, safe environment where pets feel happy, comfortable, and well cared for. Pets will receive plenty of attention, walks, and probably a few extra compliments about how cute they are.

About: I've had a lot of dogs in my life since I was very little that I have helped watch or care for. I help watch my relatives dogs when they are out on vacation or just gone for a few days. They've always relied on me to help them out and of course I did! I was always willing to take their dogs to care for if others they asked first couldn't do so. I've bathe and fed their pets as if they were just like mine to love and care for while in my hands! I'm a part timer so I would definitely have enough time to care for other pets in my hands! I also always try to find a way to work my schedule as best as I can. I don't have a fenced yard but I always put their leashes on and walk them out to use bathrooms or small walks around the yard or sidewalks. I keep watch on them all times and play with their toys or interacting any way to ensure they're having fun great times with me!

About: I grew up with many family pets and helped care for them. I have worked professionally at day care and boarding/training facilities. In 2011 I acquired a Veterinary Assisting Diploma from Horizon School of Veterinary Assisting. My schedule is very flexible at the moment, most days I am available. We can talk and figure out what would work best for you and your companion animal. I will respect your animals current routine already in place and follow through with daily care needs as if you would for them in your home.

About: I've been around animals my whole life. I have a cat and have had several different dogs. I even fostered dogs for a summer. I'm now divorced and have my kids half the time. My work is flexible and I can add in dog care as needed throughout the day. I homeschool my boys when I have them and work delivery jobs when I don't. My work is very flexible so I can make time for per care any time. I live in town with a small yard. It works best to come to your home as it's most familiar for the animal. About: I have had dogs since as long as I can remember, and have always loved caring for and playing with them! Not just dogs, but other animals as well. I’ve also helped friends care for and train new puppies and pets. I majored in Behavior Analysis and have worked in an animal behavior lab. I would love to get outside and active with your pets! Being able to spend time with pups and other pets is a dream job, and I can’t wait to make sure your friends are happy and loved when you need me. I work M-F 8-4:30, but am very flexible with my weekend and evening time if you need my help. For doggy daycare, I work from home Mondays and Tuesdays so can accommodate your pets then! I have a very friendly golden retriever at home, as well as a cat who tolerates dogs and mostly keeps to herself. We do not have a fenced in yard, but I am more than willing to walk them as much as needed.
