Feeling stressed? Uninspired? Got the Covid blahs? We’ve got just the thing to turn your day around. Check out this short video of 4-week-old Border Collie puppies meeting sheep for the first time.
Can’t you just feel your troubles fade away?
Border Collies are renowned for their intelligence and work ethic—in fact, they’re routinely included on lists of the smartest dog breeds in the world. Chaser, famous for her smarts and learning over 1000 commands—she has her own book!—is a Border Collie. No surprise there.
As you might imagine, Border Collie sheep-herding skills are pretty incredible. They originated on the large farms of Scotland and northern England and still work as sheepherders around the world.
Collies are also popular pets, but keep in mind that their working heritage means they have tons of energy. These dogs need a job—or at very least, plenty of daily walks. And runs. And at least one hardcore game of fetch (dogs like Chaser were born for that ChuckIt!).
