Duffy had lost his sight to diabetes. The rescued Irish terrier suffered a lot of hard knocks before being adopted by the May family, who worked diligently to get his diabetes under control and give him the loving home and care he deserves.
Once Duffy was healthy, he was eligible for a special surgery to restore his vision. His joyous reaction upon seeing his family for the first time was captured in an unforgettable video:
