Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup watermelon
  • 1 1/2 cup pineapple
  • Optional: a splash of coconut milk

Equipment

  • A flat, clear space in your fridge for the mold to freeze level
  • Blender or food processor
  • Bone-shaped silicone mold
  • Cookie sheet or cutting board to transport silicone mold from counter to freezer

Instructions

  1. Clear a nice flat space in your freezer for your mold to freeze.
  2. Place the watermelon in your food processor and blitz until smooth, then pour into a cup and set aside.
  3. Blitz the pineapple the same way until smooth and frothy. Not frothy enough? You can add a dollop of coconut milk to get things creamy, and pour into a cup.
  4. Place silicone mold on a cookie sheet prior to filling.
  5. Place 2 tablespoons pureed pineapple into each mold.
  6. Top each mold with watermelon puree, splashing it around a bit to get the tie-dye effect.
  7. Move filled mold carefully into the freezer.
  8. Freeze at least 4 hours before serving.
