How to Earn Repeat Pet-Sitting Clients
December is one of the busiest times of year for Rover sitters. With all of the stays going on, this is the perfect opportunity to turn first-time clients into repeat clients. Follow this advice and impress pet parents this season.
Send festive photo updates
You can take pictures in front of a tree, presents, or frolicking in the snow. Get creative! Showing pet parents that their dog is part of the holiday fun can reassure them and make it feel more like their dog is right at home with a new family member.
Confirm pickup or return times, and have their stuff packed and ready
Have all of their toys, bowls, and beds packed up and ready for their parents’ return. Want to go the extra mile? Include a festive thank you card or a small gift like homemade dog treats.
Say thanks
Thank the pet parent for choosing you and ask to watch their dog again the next time they go out of town. Providing a good service and simply asking for the chance to do so again can make their choice of a sitter for their next trip simple.
Finish your 2014 Rover stays strong, and you can earn repeat business in the new year!
