June 2021 is a cosmically intense month, surfacing lots of repressed emotions. We can survive—and thrive—if we deal with the problems head on and make choices to work through them.

These are the major astrological transits for June:

  • Lovely Venus enters sentimental Cancer on June 2nd.
  • The solar eclipse in Gemini occurs on June 10th, igniting new dreams.
  • Action planet Mars enters Leo on June 11th, urging us to move towards our passions and desires.
  • The second Saturn (currently in Aquarius) and Uranus (currently in Taurus) square of the year occurs on June 14th, shifting dynamics and relationships.
  • The summer solstice and the sun’s movement into Cancer occur on June 20th.
  • Abundant planet Jupiter begins its retrograde in Pisces and Aquarius from June 20th to October 18th.
  • June 22nd marks the end of Mercury’s retrograde journey that commenced on May 29th.
  • The Capricorn full moon on June 24 lends practicality to our emotions.
  • Elusive Neptune starts its backward journey Pisces from June 25th to December 1st.
  • Venus enters Leo on June 27th, compelling us to pursue heartfelt feelings.

Aries (March 21—April 19)

Although you’re energetic and rambunctious, you are wanting to spend time at home relaxing rather than going outside to run wild with your pack. June 10th’s solar eclipse energy paired with Mercury retrograde (which lasts until June 22nd) will heighten your nerves and anxiety, which is why you’ll find solace bundled and cuddled up in bed with your pet parents on June 20th. When June 27th comes around, you’ll be back to being a scenester.

Taurus (April 20—May 20)

Even though you like nice treats and gifts, it does not mean that you define your value through material possessions. It’s time that you set the record straight with your pet family on June 2nd, 10th, and 14th to let them know you prefer hugs, love, and kindness instead of the newest chew toy at the store. This will lead you towards a better and tender dynamic with your pet parents by June 27th.

Gemini (May 21—June 20)

This month will make you lost in a daydream. The solar eclipse on June 10th and Mercury’s planetary moonwalk is urging you to revisit your youthful sentiments and feelings. It’ll let you explore the possibilities and opportunities of yesteryear, then inspire you to let your old goals take flight. You’re having wondrous thoughts about the future on June 22nd and 25th. Let these visions inspire you to live through your heart and embrace your passions.

Cancer (June 21–July 22)

There has been a lot of drama with your squad. And, it’ll get more intense before it gets better. All the howling, barking, hissing, and silent treatment will take a turn for the worse on June 14th. The good news is that the full moon on June 24th offers you all a time to reconnect and make amends with each other. The negative vibes and resentments will be squashed by the end of the month.

Leo (July 23—August 22)

June is gonna be rough and tough for you, Leo.The 10th and 11th escalates underlying issues that others may have with you. Be aware that most of these concerns have more to do with them than you. So, for the first time in a while, you’re stepping up and arguing back. June 14th is another date in the month in which these melodramas may surface. But, positivity will brighten your day on June 27th, so hang in there!

Virgo (August 23—September 22)

The solar eclipse on June 10th, compacted with Mercury, Jupiter, and Neptune’s planetary moonwalks this month will make you feel as though your issues are becoming larger than life. The silver lining is that the earthy full moon on June 24th brings a down-to-earth approach to solving them. You’ll realize that you’re more in control than you know on June 27th. Be sure to assert your authority and don’t ignore your intuition.

Libra (September 23—October 22)

June 2nd encourages you to step out into the limelight and show off your brand-new sparkly collar. The caveat is that some pals may get jealous on the 14th, which means that you’ll have to tone downplay your vibe until the 24th. Don’t feel down and about within your emotions, the 27th is your time to shine—again—this time with the love and support of your besties.

Scorpio (October 23—November 21)

Relationships are at the forefront of your heart this month, causing a conflict during the solar eclipse on June 10th between pleasing yourself and others. The fraught cosmic energy on June 14th will pop major dramas or past issues that are lingering in your one-on-one partnerships. You’ll be able to repair situations during Jupiter and Neptune’s backwards spin, which starts on June 20th, and on the 25th, which will bring an old friend your way.

Sagittarius (November 22—December 21)

The solar eclipse on June 10th and Mercury’s moonwalk (which lasts until June 22nd) unwraps a lot of past baggage that you’ve been refusing to deal with for quite a while. Remembering your memories and discussing them will allow you to embrace the good old days with your pack. This will bring you closer together and help heal a lot of trauma during Jupiter and Neptune’s retrograde which starts on June 20th and 25th.

Capricorn (December 22—January 19)

Aren’t you the busy bee this month? All the running around you’re doing at the dog park during the solar eclipse on June 10th will give you a lot of energy to boost your vibe. You’ll feel great socializing with your besties during June 24th’s full moon (the spotlight will be shining bright on you and you’ll receive a lot of TLC). Don’t forget to let your crew know you appreciate their adoration and kindness.

Aquarius (January 20—February 18)

The solar eclipse on June 10th leaves you longing for extra affection, support, and cuddles. The 14th will make you wish that there was more time in the day for you (or for your pet parents to simply give you more attention). Don’t be too thirsty for their love, as you’ll quickly learn that they truly care for you. Your pet parents have just been busy with work and maintaining the best life for you.

Pisces (February 19—March 20)

All work and no downtime can make you very cranky. Instead of running from dog park meetup to extracurricular activities on June 10th, try to incorporate a nap or have a restful evening at home with your pet parents. Overdoing it will deplete your energies on June 14th. Take a break to ensure goodness with others on June 24th, 20th, and 25th. If not, you will be exhausted by the time the 27th rolls around.
