Our no-bake dog-friendly take on Russian teacakes, aka ‘snowballs,’ is the perfect homemade dog treat to round out your holiday doggie treat tray or gift bag. Nothing could be easier! Simply add your ingredients to the food processor, pulse a few times, then roll and dust in coconut.

If you want a dog treat recipe to make with the kiddos, this is a fun one!

No-Bake Snowball Holiday Treats for Dogs

Tangy and lightly sweet, these nutty little nibbles combine tummy-friendly ingredients like rolled oats and yogurt with a just a hint of rich peanut butter.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup coconut flour
  • 1 cup oat flour (pulverize rolled oats in the food processor to make your own)
  • 1 cup plain nonfat yogurt
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened natural peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • A bowl of shredded coconut (to roll the treats in)

Instructions

Place all ingredients in food processor and pulse until the dough holds together.

Take dough by handful and form into balls. You can adjust the size as you like.

Roll each ball in flaked coconut, squeezing as you go to help the coconut stick.

Keep refrigerated and use within a week.
