In celebration of the bond between pets and the people who love them, Rover is partnering with Varsity Tutors to offer a free two-session live training course focused on techniques the whole family can participate in to train and bond with their dog.
Rover Dog People Panelist and celebrity dog trainer Nicole Ellis will introduce tips and tricks for at-home dog training. In this two-part course, geared toward benefiting dogs of all ages, participants will learn about rewards-based dog training and walk away with several easy-to-learn and impressive tricks that’ll only reinforce the bond with their dog. Pet attendance is optional but encouraged!
“At a time when we’re all staying home more than ever, there’s never been a better time to nurture your bond with your dog through training,” Ellis said. “Dog training is an awesome way to bring your whole family together during a time of social distancing and to set your dog up for success so the next time you’re out on a walk or back at the dog park—you’ll both be more confident and at ease.”
The live training course is part of Varsity Tutors’ Virtual Summer Camps initiative, which aims to keep families engaged and learning during this unprecedented summer. The company offers both paid and free instruction in a range of subjects and is a leader in the online education space.
