The 16 Grumpiest Dogs on the Internet

For Dog People

My dog Ralph the Girl is prone to grumpiness, particularly when she feels she’s being ignored. She grumbles, groans, and flops over dramatically as if to say, “I can’t even with you people.”

Of course, she’s so darn cute, I can’t help but smile when she starts grumping around. If you’ve ever said “my dog is grumpy,” you know what I mean.

It’s not nice to laugh at their discomfort, but the fact is, grumpy dogs have the power to turn human frowns upside down.

We’ve gathered an assortment of the grumpiest dogs on the internet to put a smile on your face whether you’re the devoted parent of a grumpy dog or just a casual grumpy dog fan. Get ready to get your grump on!

We have to kick things off with a classic: nothing says “grumpy dog” like a bully. This guy looks like he has a few choice words for the camera.

Here we see a rare wild specimen of the Canis Lupis Puggrumpinus, renowned for its loud snorfle and hard glare. Should you encounter a Canis Lupis Puggrumpinus in the wild, do not approach (unless you happen to have peanut butter, in which case, meet your new best fried).

At first, it may look like the big guy is the centerpiece of this grumpy dogs tableau, but it’s the side-eye on that golden retriever puppy that truly captures the essence of grumpiness.

Nothing will turn a good dog grouchy faster than forcing them to wear human headgear. Oh, the indignity!

A grumpy old dog is one thing, but a grumpy old dog with a sinister hairless cat lurking in the shadows? That’s some world-domination-level grump.

Do you have a grumpy dog at home? The next time your dog starts grouching out, snap a picture. You may just have an internet superstar on your hands.
