Of all the reasons we love dogs (and there are about a gazillion of them, if you hadn’t picked up on that already), one of the things we love most about our furry friends is their passion for life. There’s basically nothing they won’t do—I mean, they have been known to eat their own poop on an occasion or two—which means we get to enjoy all of the happy, ridiculous, embarrassing moments that follow, their, uh, undaunted adventures. Keep making great choices, dogs. We could learn a thing or two from you.
1. Super Dog!
We have no idea why this dog is wearing a cape or how he learned who to ride his very own scooter, but we like it. Fight the good fight, Super Dog.
2. Bouncy, bouncy, bouncy
Dude’s either having the time of his life, or he’s so out of his element he has no idea how to stop jumping. For all we know, he’s still jumping.
3. A little to the left…
This guy has figured out the magic that is the head massager, and now his life will never, ever be the same.
This doga (dog + yoga, for the uninitiated) practice involves a mind-harnessing bucket-straddling pose that requires a lot of concentration. (And probably also a lot of panic, because how does one get out of that position anyway?)
5. Cool runnings
Move over, Jamaican bobsledders! This Frenchie wants in on the action, and he’ll shove anyone out of his way to do just that—kids included.
6. “I don’t know what to do with my hands!”
“It’s so fluffy I’m gonna die!” – Adorable little girl in “Despicable Me” and us, after seeing this gif.
7. “Mom’s home!!!”
If we all greeted everyone the same way this guy is greeting his owner, the world would be a better place.
8. Beach waves
Something tells us dread head doesn’t get to go to the beach all the often. You do you, boo. You drag that hair through wet sand!
9. DJ Roomba
Look at this guy, making his grand entrance and making all these other dogs look sad for not riding a Roomba.
One would think eating kibble all day every day would get kind of old, but this corgi can’t. Effing. Wait. Look at his little legs! S’cute!
OK, readers. We know your dogs have a passion for life. Share your best stories in the comments below!
