11 Dogs Just Playing in Piles of Leaves—You’re Welcome

For Dog People

Ah, fall. A chill in the air, a spring in your step, and a pile of leaves just waiting to be displaced by a happy, bouncing dog.

Some dogs leap straight into a pile of leaves, some wriggle around ecstatically on top, and some become intently focused on catching falling leaves in their mouths. Whatever your preferred leafin’ style, these videos of dogs playing in leaves will bring some sunshine into your autumn day.

These dogs playing in leaves are doing autumn right

There’s nothing better than a good ol’ Basset Hound, except maybe a good ol’ Basset Hound romping through the fallen leaves.

Stella leaps into leaves again and again, then chills out froggy-style.

Link takes the mountain climber approach, steadily working his way to the top of the pile. Stay through to the end for a surprise guest star!

Tall pile of leaves + short doggy legs = endless hilarity.

This adorable Shih Tzu has a major case of the leaf-induced zoomies…

…whereas this Corgi takes a more zen approach to leaf appreciation.

This scrappy Chihuahua mix stops, drops, and rolls in the leaves.

Sasha the Dachshund shows that pesky leaf pile who’s boss!

A French Bulldog puppy gets some serious air in her attempt to catch autumn leaves.

Of course, we can’t leave out the leaf-loving Husky that took the internet by storm:

And for something completely different, here’s a dog “playing” along to the song “Autumn Leaves.” (Okay, not what you were expecting from a list of dog playing in leaves videos, but we can’t resist this mournful howl, and at least the subject matter is appropriate!)
