About: With over 20 years of experience caring for dogs, cats, and even small pets like mice, rats, hamsters, and fish, I bring a lifetime of knowledge and passion to pet care. I’m a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) with 7 years of veterinary experience and 1 year working in a pet resort, so I’m skilled at safely handling pets of all temperaments — from nervous pups to the spiciest of cats (I have one of my own!). I’m also experienced with administering medications and providing calm, compassionate care to ensure every pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for. I’m currently not working, so my schedule is completely open. I have plenty of time to provide your pets with all the attention, care, and love they need. With my veterinary technician background, safety and trust are always my top priorities. While in your home, I provide a calm, secure environment where pets feel comfortable and cared for. I’m skilled in reading body language, handling nervous or fractious pets, and administering medications when needed. Every pet in my care is treated like family, with plenty of patience, compassion, and attention to their unique needs.

About: I have had a pets my entire life, mostly dogs and cats. I currently have 2 labs and 1 golden doodle who roam the yard with our farm animals; chickens and ducks. They are kennel trained and wouldn’t be around customer pets. I have 3 kids who love learning and helping out with chores. They are in extra curricular activities but I would ensure a schedule with you before the time of watching your fur baby. My husband is home most nights and weekends (besides hunting seasons) and he works construction during the day. I am home most nights and weekends besides when I have drill with the Iowa National guard, I work full time with the guard. Our dogs currently have an underground fence but because we have one mischievous lab (Mayble) who likes to convince the other two to go on adventures, we kennel her and our youngest (Bailey, golden doodle) during working hours. Our eldest (Max) is pretty lazy and wonders our yard freely during the day and night without his collar.

I can do pet boarding, house sitting, daily check ins, walks & much needed loving and spoiling. We offer a very pet friendly home inside and out. I have 1 pups- 2 years old and he is very friendly. We spoil and love in our home. They can snuggle on our couch or beds. We go for walks and have lots of outdoor play time too! We even have a doggy pool for those darn hot summer/fall days!

About: I've been taking care of my mom's dog when she is out of town for over 10 years. My brother recently got a puppy and I have added her to my list! Dogs are near and dear to my heart and are treated just like a child on our home! I am a stay at home mom to our 2 year old. We are generally not gone for more than a couple of hours, if at all. We live in a nice quiet town and go for walks often. We have a very shaded front yard that we are in a lot. We take walks often and live in a nice town. Our yard is not fenced in.

About: I have had dogs and cats since I was born. My parents share the same love for animals as I do, and I think I love them more honestly! I’ve dealt with losing a pet, and adding new additions to the family. In my eyes no breed of dog or cat is superior and I would love to meet all the pets I can!! I work part-time so I will put the days I am available into the schedule! On my days off I would be more than happy to take your dogs for walks or do drop in visits with dogs and cats! I also marked all days as available because my hours can be funky and I can sometimes work only 4 hour shifts. I take my dogs for walks frequently. They are a bit stubborn sometimes (especially my olde english) but after we get walking they love being outside! The summer heat gets to them both though, so I would love to get outside!

About: I have experience pet sitting as well as currently working at a Doggy Daycare/Boardinh facility! I grew up on a farm, so I am used to working with animals, and I also have pets of my own! I have taken care of a large variety of pets, from puppies and kittens to senior dogs and cats. I am also used to giving medication to pets that require it! I have been pet sitting and taking care of animals for an upwards of 14 years, staying with my neighbors dogs and caring for my own. I am an energetic person who loves to exercise and be outdoors. About: My experience includes behavior modification, rehabilitation and foster care. Since I was my daughters age I have been pet sitting and working with animals and would like to share the experience I work at home everyday but Thursday. We are available for dog walking and live close to a park trail and we are looking for a family interaction. Crate services, roaming and family integrated home. About: Been doing this for 7 years now and absolutely love it. I take in all sizes and breeds of dogs and have recently fenced in my backyard. Your pets will get the best 1 on 1 care at my house. I work full time during the week. The dogs will have free run of my upstairs or if you prefer they be in a kennel I can accommodate that too I recently fenced in my backyard. About: Experienced in walking all size dogs and looking for a walking buddies on regular basis in the Cedar Rapids area in all weather conditions. Flexible schedule I am looking for a dog to walk anywhere from 2 to 4 miles depending on the dog and day and can be flexible with the time. I do have a fenced yard and can entertain at my house for short periods of time. But I am willing to take care of each individual dog depending on its regular routine.

About: I live on a farm back home & have over a decade of animal care of all kinds! I have many farm cats and two dogs at home, as well as two cats that live with me! I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages and sizes & would love to spend time with your best friend! I would especially love to hang out with dogs as I don’t want to get my own until I can give them a fenced in yard:) My boyfriend Gabe also helps out with the pet care! I am pretty free all summer & I can give as much or as little attention as your pet requires! I’m available to do random walks throughout the day or stay full time at your residence to give 24/7 care to your pet. I would like to follow your routine as much as possible, so honestly whatever you do with your pet I will copy! It’s important to keep their routines from changing frequently!

About: I've taken care of dogs specifically since I was like 5. Whether it was a friend's dog, a family members or my own. Cats I have taken care of since I was 8. Changing litter? Done. Walking dogs? Done. Training? I do that too! I actually trained my own service dog who has since retired. Feed and water? Of course! Gotta get the essentials. Following directions, I will follow how YOU want your pet(s) taken care of. I have dealt with chihuahuas to great Danes to dogs bigger than that! No animal is too small. I will pick up messes, play with them, train them if you want, and obviously feed and water them. I can even stay over night with a pet if needed! I know some pets need extra support when their humans are a away, and I understand that may mean me staying over night. I have two dogs and two cats. I take care of the two dogs on a daily basis. Cats? Not so much but I do help out when asked as they are not actually mine but my roommates. I take my dogs out at LEAST 3 times a day typically more in warmer weather. But I take them out at least once when I wake up, once after or before lunch, and once before bed after they've ate their dinner. My dogs have stomach issues and only eat once a day near dinner time for me. I get them out more often to play now that its warming up outside In my clients home, as I don't do boarding at my own home, I can bring my own dog if asked for a play buddy but I would like a copy or to see the vaccination records to be safe. I will make sure the animals get some time to play and have plenty of attention while I am there. I will make sure dogs get outside to potty on either the specified schedule from my client or on a schedule I am able to run, but they will get out as much as I can make happen. Cats I'll make sure get some play time, if you're the kind of cat person who let's their cat out on a catio or leash or trust your cat out on its own for a bit I can make those happen too. I will make sure they have fresh litter when needed/requested. I will make sure both cats and dogs have fresh water and food on a schedule determined by the owner or when its needing refilled/changed.
