About: I've had animals my whole life. They have became a normal part of life! Growing up I always had at least 1 cat and 1 dog (sometimes more!). Now I currently have 4 dogs in my home. 1 GSP, 2 chihuahuas and a French Bulldog. I love all the different personalities they have. I am always the first to volunteer to Pet sit for Family & Friends. I can follow any schedule you have for you pet, or I can simply hang out with them while your gone. I work full-time, but have a lot of flexible time during the day to stop in and care for them. Weekends are always free and I can be with your pet all day/night! I have a fully fenced yard that cannot be dug under. I have a doggy door as well in my garage so they can go inside/out as they please

About: Hello all! I grew up on a cattle ranch with all sorts of animals around, all the time. I've raised / fostered / adopted dogs & cats of all sizes and breeds. I moved to Blaine, WA in July 2020 from Orcas Island, WA - and we live 5 minutes from the beach. Beach day, all day! I was certified as a therapy dog trainer in Oregon in 2009 and have carried techniques and skills learned there through my entire adult life. I can offer tips and tricks for training certain behaviors, if that is something you need support in! I can't imagine what life would be like without our fur family and I can ensure your fluffy buddies will be treated as family as well in my care. Have a whole farm? We can chat about a budget that works for you! Even farm owners deserve to take a vacation once in a while! :) Located in Canada? We can make arrangements for border travel, no problem! While currently on a hiatus from fostering, I serve as a behavioral rehab support to multiple rescues that serve Whatcom county. If you have a question on behaviors or something you’re struggling with with your dog - I’m happy to brainstorm and offer options to help! I work from home part time during the week. My weekends are free 100%. I also can bring dogs along in my truck (in the cab) and potty/walk them throughout the day. If we go on an adventure, your fur baby will ride in the back of my car with the climate controlled depending on the weather. They can be transported with or without a crate as well. Our yard is fully fenced with 6 ft no climb wire fencing. The yard is separated into 3 sections, to allow space and time for introductions. No dog is left outside without a human supervising. Crates are available upon request (so you don't have to pack yours up!), and the house can be divided 3 ways to allow for space and time as needed. Wherever your dog is most comfortable is where your dog will sleep (even if it's in our bed or on the couch!). PLEASE NOTE: We have our own pack of SIX (6) dogs (see below). I make sure to allow for proper introductions to any new pet on site. This means that for meet & greets and for pickups/dropoffs, our home may sound a little like a ZOO! And, if you’d like to meet everyone that’s onsite - plan to allow plenty of time for the interaction (and let me know ahead of time so I can plan my time as well!) I can assure you that we maintain safety above all else & are happy to accommodate preferred practices for your canine.

About: I have had dogs my entire life. Fun fact: my first word was doggie. I’ve dealt with all kinds of breeds: Keeshond, pug, chihuahua, jack russell, lab, Australian shepherd, you name it! I SO enjoy dogs, and treat them (perhaps) better than family at times. I firmly believe that dogs are a humans best friend and just want to share my love of them by helping people care for them. I had a pug for many years and towards the end of her life, I bought her a wheelchair and a doggie stroller so she could still enjoy the outdoors with myself and my other (now senior) dog. I moved to Birch Bay in February and was commuting to work in Canada up until the end of June. Since then, I have been looking for work and secured a few house cleaning and Airbnb cleaning jobs for the time being. That being said, I am local and available almost all the time now. I take my own dog out about 5-6 times a day and have been assisting my neighbours dogs (2 golden retrievers) while they’ve been away on shorter trips. While I do live in a condo with stairs, there are several grassed areas in my complex where dogs can relieve themselves. We even have dog bag stations throughout the complex and many owners and renters have dogs here, I can name all of them in my building. My dog goes where I go. She’s allowed on the couch, she’s allowed on my bed. My house is her house as well.

About: I have experience working as a dog walker for a professional dog walking company in Vancouver, BC where I had the pleasure of walking and training a wide variety of dogs using safe handling methods and positive reinforcement. I am confident walking dogs with a range of behavioral challenges: leash pulling, reactivity, high prey drive, and anxiety. Through my work experience and basic training in obedience and agility with dogs of my own, I bring a calm, confident, and patient approach to caring for dogs. I am certified in pet first aid (Dogsafe) and have been a dog owner since childhood with experience raising dogs from puppyhood through to their golden years where administering medication and assisting with mobility issues are often required. Currently, we have a 12 year old Sheltie named Coco who is finally starting to slow down after years of running the show on our small farm east of Blaine. My schedule is currently open to dog walking during the day M-F, and drop-in visits 7 days a week. I volunteer at the Whatcom Humane Society a few hours a week, but otherwise my schedule is open for private pet care. The safety of your pets is top of mind for me. Dogs will be leashed at all times on walks and we will avoid meet and greets to minimize the chance of unpleasant interactions with other dogs.

About: About this sitte I've been a dog lover and owner of both small and medium dogs for the past 25+ years. I've had young dogs, old dogs, sickly dogs and can handle any situation. I have experience administering medications, injections, etc. I’ve also had several cats over the years and understand their idiosyncrasies. I prefer small to medium dogs but am open to caring for large dogs as long as they aren’t known to be aggressive or have a bite history. I'm a retired RN with time now to pursue things I enjoy, one of which is caring for pets. I have two senior dogs of my own so understand how difficult it can be to find someone who is trustworthy, reliable and who will care for them as they would their own. My schedule is flexible, available most days and times. At this point, I am not offering house sitting or boarding in my home. In the near future, I may decide to update my services to include boarding in my home. I live in a dog friendly neighborhood, a house with a fully fenced yard and a special “cookie” cabinet just for them.

About: Have had dogs since 1969 and had from malamutes to chihuahua terrier. I now adopt needy dogs as is my Schnauzer Benny who I adopted 6 months ago after my Eva ( chihuahua terrier mix died of paralysis). I have always loved dogs in our home and I rescue now the needy and handicapped dogs.. Benny a schnauzer is about 10 and is blind with glaucoma and was so mistreated and has been a challenge as well as one of the sweetest dogs I ve ever had. I raised my family of 3 boys in Boulder, Colorado and love mountain hiking and nature. I live in a beautiful neighborhood where I have access to trails 2 blocks from my home. Benny Isnd sll dogs I have benefit from a fully fenced yard and long walks through the BLM land that surrounds my homes. I am a healthy and active retired senior who loves hiking and outdoors. I have a trail two blocks from my home and can walk long distances and exercise your pet. Here in Blaine I spend my summer months since walking and dogs in the desert of Utah is too hot for furry pooches. Beautiful trails from my 1st floor condo… parks and ocean… walking dogs is spectacular in this Semiahmoo neighborhood. Very safe and gated community.

About: Hi there! I’m an enthusiastic animal lover with a lifelong connection to pets. Growing up, I cared for several small animals, and in my adult life I’ve owned two beloved cats. I currently live in a home with three dogs and always seem to find myself surrounded by animals—which I love. Their grounding energy brings a sense of calm and joy that I truly value. I’m a naturally introverted and intuitive person, and I connect well with animals (and people) in quiet, attuned ways. I show care more through actions than words, and I approach pet care with calm consistency and deep respect for each animal’s needs. In addition to pet care, I currently work as a caregiver, and I’m looking to add more balance to my schedule through something that brings me peace- like spending time with animals. I’m very reliable, responsible, and committed to making sure your pets feel safe and cared for in your absence. I am able to come during the day or stay overnight as needed. I currently do not have any pets of my own due to my living arrangement. My cat was re-homed recently to a friend as I now live with three dogs. When my cat was under my care, she had plenty of space to move around, lots of toys along with a big cat tree and window ledges to look outside. I brushed her routinely and am very familiar with general care like feeding and litter box changing. I have also cared for several dogs in the past and am familiar with general care like feeding, walking, brushing etc. Much of my recent animal care experience has come through my work as a personal caregiver. Several clients I’ve assisted have had pets-primarily cats and dogs- and part of my role involved helping care for their animals while supporting their overall well-being. While I can’t share personal details due to confidentiality, these experiences gave me regular, hands-on involvement with feeding, walking, and offering companionship to their pets. I am very detail oriented and take directions well. Whatever specific needs your pet has, I am confident I can meet them.

About: I’ve lived with dogs my entire life. Being in the army I also get called to take care of others pets when they are out of town. Once I am scheduled with a pet owner they assume priority after I get off work M-F at the latest 5PM and I get weekends off I get a full understanding of the owner’s expectations with me and there pet in there home when they are out of town. I try to make constant communication with the owner too.
