“Kara was amazing when I needed a last minute dog walker. She came everyday on time and communicated when she picked Moose up and dropped him off. She even wrote notes about the walk! I could not have found a better/sweeter friend for Moose that week! Thank you Kara!”

She treats my dog, Kade, wonderfully — he’s always happy and tired after his walks! I’m incredibly grateful for her care and will continue using her services. She has truly been such a blessing for us!”

About: I've have had dogs since I was a child. Most recently, I have retired and have plenty of time to provide care and attention to your pet as well as my 2 year old, Miniature Golden Doodle, Steve. I have a 1200 Sq Ft outdoor play space and an Indoor play space for rainy days. We walk, take adventures out on Leelanau County trails and beaches. Come play with us! I am recently retired. Love to be outdoors, active and full of adventure. I am open to flexible scheduling. I understand the busy pet owner challenges. I have an outdoor and indoor play space. I believe a happy pup is a busy pup. Walk my pet and yours everyday. In addition to my pup, I will only care for one additional pet. This allows me to give all of the love and attention needed for a happy and healthy pet.

About: I've taken care of animals all my life. I grew up with cats, dogs, fish, hamsters, you name it! Now, I'm lucky enough to have a cat and a dog of my own, and enjoy helping take care of others' animals as well! I'm currently working full-time from home, which makes it super easy to run out for drop-in visits and dog walks. I'm free most weekdays during the day, or in the evening around dinner time. I'm happy to plan around whatever your pets need! I will follow any and all directions when it comes to taking care of others' pets. I know every animal is different and has various comfort levels when it comes to meeting new people. I'm happy to do whatever is needed to make animals feel comfortable, so that we can get to playing/walking in no time!

“Meera had a great walk with Alexa today! Alexa came to my rescue when, unexpectedly, I wasn’t going to be able to exercise Meera. With almost no notice on my part, she showed up on time, communicated promptly and clearly, and was lovely with my puppers. Meera is now having a much happier day because of Alexa!”

“Breezy was awesome! She picked up our last minute request and was so thorough! She noticed that our pups water was running low and that some food on the counter was in danger of being poached and helped us out! Highly recommend 🩵”

About: The ability to stay ready and alert as well as being someone you can truly trust with your pets really does set me apart. I have experience watching multiple large dogs at a time and think I get as much out of our visits as they do! Although nothing unusual has ever happened I do feel prepared for situations including medication, puppies or senior care. If given clear instructions I am ready to go above and beyond! I am hoping that pet care WILL be my routine - My schedule is completely open for the time being. I have not lived in MI long but hope to make this my full time career and find pets and owners that could use a consistent helping hand! I am used to mostly vacation / sleepover jobs and am more than happy to pop in for some quality time or a much needed walk.

About: I grew up with several large and small dogs in my household, and I also began watching dogs about 8 years ago. I began overnight sitting around 4 years ago as well. I have also been cat sitting for about 3 years, and have a cat of my own! I am comfortable administering prescriptions to all pets, as well as regular care (potty breaks, clean ups, brushing, interaction, litter boxes, walking, etc). I have worked with pets of all size variations, and am happy to work with yours! I am a full-time bedside RN on night shift, so I work 3 nights a week for 12-hour shifts. My schedule changes weekly, but I would never accept a job that I am not available for. I have great flexibility due to only working 3 nights a week, as I often switch back to days after a stretch, or can stay on nights if preferred. I am happy to watch your pet overnight at your home. I am comfortable with most services, including but not limited to: walking, going outside for potty breaks, cleaning up after pets, cleaning litter boxes, administering prescription medications, brushing pets, feeding pets, and more. If something is needed for your pet that is not listed here, I am willing to talk about it and see if it is in my scope!

About: I have a 6-year-old Great Pyrenees named Nala, a sweet and loyal guard dog, so I have experience and comfort interacting with all sizes, big and small. I also have two boy cats, Widget and Panko, whom I adopted 8 years ago. I love animals! Over the years, my friends and family have entrusted me with the care of their pets (and home) whenever they're out of town. I work in the field of film, which is typically 3-4 projects a month, so I have pretty open availability for pet care in the days between. I like to ensure that both pets and pet parents feel taken care of, whatever is needed to feel comfort and trust and not have to worry about anything. Beyond the essential needs, I like to go above and beyond by including whatever unique interactions, games, treats, routines, training needs, or other fun things the pet(s) are engaging with at that time.

“Jonathan. So professional efficient on time loving and gentle with our Jayda. Jonathan is my Number 1 choice in the future. It was a pleasure and also calming to know Jonathan was taking care of our baby!! He left us notes on their walk and how Jayda enjoyed them! Thank you Jonathan!”

About: Hello! Thanks for stopping by! My name is Emma and I am a recent college graduate and animal lover. I am an avid herbivore, hiker, swimmer, reader, runner, writer, traveler, and outdoor enthusiast! I have lots of experience with doing various jobs such as, feeding, walking, grooming, boarding, visiting, and loving on all types of animals. I’ve cared for my own pets since I was very young and others pets professionally for about eight years now. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, horses, alpacas, various types of reptiles, goats, and many others. Animals have always been a very important part of my life and I always feel very honored when someone trusts me with their precious pet. Your pet(s) will be happy, safe, and loved with me!

About: Hello! I am mother to one huge Great Pyrenees dog, 2 cats (one cuddly, one cranky) and one human. I have taken care of animals my whole life starting with my own dogs as a child. Later I became a professional pet/home sitter as a side job. Now I take care of my own and my friends pets. I have experience with all sizes and ages including the elderly and ailing. My last three dogs (Jack Russell, medium sized mix, Great Pyrenees) were rescues and I understand the intricacies involved with pets who come from bad situations. I love love cats as well and have taken care of my own for the past ten years. I am currently working full time in education so my summer availability is wide open. During the school year weekends are available for walks and 1or 2 night stays in your home. Pets love their routines! In my house we stick to a pretty standard schedule of two long walks a day with a lot of potty breaks in between. In your home we'll stick to your schedule so your pet can be the most comfortable without its parents. I love long dog walks and play and snuggles too. Cats make their own rules (lol)! Cat snuggles are always welcome and my cats love short play sessions. Maybe yours do too?

About: I grew up with dogs and cats, including senior rescues, mixed breeds with behavior needs, and puppies and kittens. As an adult, I trained my puppy, North, who is almost 6, as well as rescued two kittens. I am a NICU nurse who loves to be active on my days off with North! We love walking, hiking, paddle boarding, and swimming! I will love and care for your furry loves as if they are my own! I am happy to follow any detailed instructions, preferred walking routes, administer medications, or just give extra pets as needed while you are away 😊 I only work 3 (long) days a week, so the rest of the week I am off and usually adventuring with North! So I have plenty of time throughout my week to care for your pets as needed 😊 I am happy to follow any safety instructions you prefer for your pet! I’ve crate trained my own dog, administered medications, and also have a fenced in yard if your pet ever needs space to zoomie with a very friendly and submissive golden retriever!

About: I'm a college student and I love animals. Throughout all of highschool I volunteered at an animal shelter once a week and volunteer for the summer when I home from college. Volunteering at the animal shelter helped me learn how to read dogs body language and care for dogs of different sizes with different personalities. I enjoy taking care of animals and connecting with dogs. I'm a full time college student during the school year getting my BSN. I’m currently home for the summer and looking for a flexible job. I love spending time with dogs and cats! My priority is the pet's safety and happiness. I have lots of experience working with different animals in shelters and dog siting through friends and family. I would care for the pets by doing whatever the client needed me to do and leaving the house better than I found it.

Karen B.
“Karen is one of the only people I trust to take care of my two English bulldogs. Bulldogs are quite sensitive to heat, too much exertion and have many other medical oddities, creams and wipes - and Karen handles all of that in stride, bringing water and really listening to what the dogs need, responding to them in the moment. Whether it’s a quick lunchtime walk that turns in to a play time, Potty breaks or even the more adventurous trail exploration Karen has the stamina, attitude and spirit of adventure- That’s just what any dog needs. She also helps my heart by sending me lots of pictures when she is with my babies and I can’t be!”

Melissa C.
“Melissa loves animals and has 3 of her own. She loves spending quality time with them and is very good at taking care of both dogs and cats! She has watched my dog and my cat numerous times and I trust her to treat them with respect and to take them out. She is a kind, trustworthy, and reliable person!”

Regan C.
“Regan has dog sat for my special needs mini Aussie multiple times, and I only have amazing things to say about her. I have never once worried when my pet is in her care! My pup is deaf and partially blind requiring pills and eye drops daily as well as a lil extra tlc with her senses being impaired. Regan goes above and beyond to accommodate my dogs special needs and make her feel safe and loved while I’m away. I feel very confident recommending Regan for all pet sitting needs ❤️🐾”

James C.
“This is the sitter you've been looking for full stop. When looking for someone to watch your precious pets, and likely be in your space, you need someone you fully trust. You want someone who is willing to go above and beyond if the need should arise. Fortunately for myself (and YOU), that person is James! James has cared for my 3 cats and German Shepherd dog multiple times. Those periods have been a short as a weekend, and as long as 2 weeks. Every time, not only are the pets happy as can be, but we received updates throughout and he took care to ensure no blemish was left on our house. James is incredibly responsible, a pet owner/lover himself, and has my full trust when taking care of my family. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a top-notch pet sitter.”

Grace H.

“Grace was very timely and does a great job with our puppy. Would recommend.”

Ava C.

“Ava was excited to meet Rowan and does really well with her. Rowan really enjoys her walks”
