“Malia did a fantastic job and went above and beyond with house drop ins for my cat. Very responsive and provided detailed updates along with pictures. She was happy to meet and greet and was very accommodating to my scheduling and needs. I had to push my return date and she accommodated with no issue. Side note: she watered my plants for me too. And most importantly, my cat loved spending with her and playing with her. I'll be booking with Malia again and recommend her for any pet sitting needs.”

“Elizabeth was amazing. She was able to come drop in on two of our dogs while we dealt with having to leave for TX for a funeral. It was the 3rd funeral within a month my family was dealing with. Elizabeth was able to come meet the dogs beforehand and they loved her. Very professional and communicative.”

I am highly responsible and will treat your fur babies with much love and follow your routines to keep them happy. I am happy to take them for many walks and play as much ball as they would like:) As a homeowner and pet owner myself. I can appreciate also that leaving your pets in the care of a stranger can be nerve wracking. I will treat your home and pets with the same care and respect I give mine. Since I’m retired, I have the flexibility and availability to give your pets the attention, companionship, and care they deserve throughout the day. Whether your dog loves playtime, walks, cuddles or simply having someone nearby. I will make sure they feel comfortable and cared for as if they were my own. About: Cat’s and dogs have always been a big part of my life. I genuinely cannot remember a time where there wasn’t some kind of animal at home. I have experience with pits puppies and kittens. I love to go on long, fun walks! My favorite part is getting to play with your animal and show them affection. I love seeing how far I can build my relationship with your pet, and eventually be considered for regular drop ins/walks! Im currently working a seasonal summer job. So, my schedule is pretty flexible, primarily most of my weekdays will be open. We could always work something out to fit each others schedules! I’m passionate about making sure your baby feels safe in my company. I put a lot of effort to build a loving and caring relationship based on trust. I, myself have an anxious kitty at home. So I understand the time and patience it takes to get your pet used to a new person/routine.
About: I’ve cared for dogs my whole life, including walking, feeding, and giving plenty of attention and love. I’ve also helped neighbors by dog-sitting and walking their pups when needed. I’m patient, reliable, and excited to care for your furry family member! I trained my dog Beau from puppyhood, so I’m familiar with basic commands, house training, and patience needed for young dogs. I’m also comfortable providing gentle care for senior dogs, including help with medication and slower-paced walks. Pet care fits well into my daily routine. On weekdays, I’m available early mornings (5:00–6:30 a.m.) and evenings after 4:30 p.m. I have mostly open availability on weekends and can provide flexible care then. I live in an apartment, so dogs in my care get regular walks and lots of attention. I walk my own dog, Beau, daily and often take him to the dog park for exercise and enrichment. In a client’s home, I follow their routines closely to help pets feel safe and secure. I respect their space, follow all instructions, and make sure pets are comfortable and cared for. I’m always mindful of leash safety, locked doors, and keeping a calm, pet-friendly environment. Owners can trust that I’ll treat their pets and homes with the same care I give my own.

I’m able to provide consistent care, regular potty breaks, playtime, and lots of attention. My daily routine is already centered around caring for others, so adding your pet to our home feels natural and seamless. I provide a loving, safe, and structured environment where every pet feels like part of the family. From the moment your pet arrives, I focus on creating a calm atmosphere that respects their individual needs and personality. Whether your pet needs active play or quiet cuddles, I’m attentive and responsive to their signals. “Grace did an amazing job with our 2 crazy dogs, we were super nervous because we’ve used the same dog sitter for 10 years so this was the first time leaving our dogs with somebody we didn’t know but she put us at ease. She done an amazing job. Dogs are healthy. Hopefully we’ll be able to use her every time we need a dog sitter.”

About: I've been taking care of animals since i was a child. As a professional, I have over eight years of animal boarding and dog training experience. I have experience in animal bathing, and administering medications for both cats and dogs. I love working with young animals, but i adore senior pets the most. I would love to take care of your baby! If you are interested in dog training just let me know. I'm experienced in balanced-dog training and have trained over a hundred dogs through housecalls and group classes. For a typical day, it's potty breaks and breakfast first thing in the morning. If I don't have any housecalls, I'll be home with your pet. Your pet will get potty breaks every 1.5 hours on minimum until their last potty break at 8 p.m. Your pet will get 2 walks a day either around your neighborhood or at a dog park. If I do have housecalls to attend to, my work day will cut short so your pet won't be alone for too long. If I'm doing a dog training housecall, the lesson is typically one hour. We will go over one or two commands at a time and we will train the dog until i feel that the client and dog have a good understanding of what's going on. I can usually cover over basic obedience in eight lessons. I try to schedule these lessons once every week, but its all based on the clients schedule. I never let your out of my sight while their are in my care. The only times I would ever leave pet would be to go to housecalls or gather supplies. I will take your pet on walks, training practice and provide them with a bath if you ask me or if they get too dirty while in my care.

“Nicole was wonderful. I needed last minute assistance for my pup and she had no issues working within my short timeline. She did a meet and greet the next day. And kept me posted while I was gone. Even made a special trip to ensure my pup was taken care of. Will be using her again for sure!”
“Alexis is a gem! She did a fabulous job during her drop in visits with my two cats. She even managed to bond with my very shy and skittish cat, Jane. So much so she was able to sit next to Jane and pet her. Alexis is a legitimate cat whisperer!”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
