About: Animals have been a huge part of my life since I was a kid. I’ve been a dog owner for 15+ years and caring for animals has taught me just how much love, patience and attention they deserve. My dogs have all been very fortunate to live long, happy lives and I have firsthand experience caring for senior dogs and their special needs. Including but not limited to: extra patience, comfort, and attentive care as they age. I’m also a very proud owner of 4 extremely spoiled barn cats. And yes- they absolutely earn their keep and they run the place! I genuinely love all animals and enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality, routines and quirks. When your pet is in my care I treat them like they’re part of my own family. I understand that each animal has different needs and will meet them where they are- or what you prefer. I’ll also include plenty of pictures upon request :) I know how difficult it can be to leave your fur babies with someone else, so my goal is to give you peace of mind while you’re away. I’m attentive, dependable and committed to making sure your pets feel happy, safe, loved and spoiled- just the way they should be! I work part time Tuesday-Thursday and I would love to dog walk etc on Mondays and Fridays. Spoiled. So spoiled is how it is. My barn cats are brought in every night so predators don’t get to them. They have a water fountain, access to food all the time oversized kitty litter and plenty of comfy places to snooze. My dogs get let outside to go potty multiple times a day and they get a treat each time they go outside. They get extras put in their food (for their special needs) and have orthopedic doggy beds.

I was a veterinarian assistant for one year and then became an adoptions Manager for three years. This was the most fulfilling experience of my adult life, being able to help animals and the community daily. I recently lost my closest companion, Xander, about a month ago. He was 13 years old and I had him since he walked into the humane society at two months old. Through him I gained even more experience with aging dogs, medical care and many behavioral changes as he aged. While using positive reinforcement training we navigated 6 military moves, life adaptions to aging and the introduction of two kittens. I will take all this experience and use it to provide the same amount of love an attention for you furry family members as I did for Xander. I am currently employed part time and have many days free as well as can stay over night or board animals in my home. I have a very flexible schedule and am happy to work with any client’s schedule as needed. I currently only have two cats in my home, so I’m able to provide boarding for cat friendly animals. I have a fenced in back yard and am usually not gone from the house for more than four hours. I also am available for staying over nights at clients houses for a more comfortable experience for everyone in the family.

About: I have helped raise pets with my familu for most of my life, taking on more responsibility as I got older. I have helped family members take care of their dogs when they are away, taking them on walks and making sure they are fed on their regular schedule. I make sure that they get enough exercise to be tired out, but not exhausted. My family mostly had cats, and I have learned to interact with them on their terms, following their lead for the toys they want to play with, the treats they like, when they are fed, and how much and when they would like affection. I make sure that my cat is fed daily, monitoring her feeder and water fountain to make sure they are full and clean. Kitty litter is emptied once per week and scooped about every other day, since she has 2 boxes. The doors are always closed in my house and I would make sure they are closed in my client's house as well. When watching amily dogs, they are never off-leash unless it is in an enclosed area. Occasionally in my house, I have the interior door open, but the screen door closed, so my cat can experience the outside safely. I make sure any string based toys or any choking hazards are up out of the way, so my cat and client's pets can't get tangled up in them.
