This is just a one-time boarding opportunity, as we were traveling through the area, but we'd certainly board our dog with ther again if we could.”

I currently have a 7 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a 1.5 year old Pomsky, so I understand that every dog has their own personality and needs. About: I have a wide variety of experience with all sorts of animals. I’ve had large and small dogs, cats, rodents, amphibians, and lizards, I even had a pot belly pig, sheep & duck as a child. I also volunteered at a local vet when I was a teenager and gained a lot of hands on experience caring for many types of animals! I’m a stay at home mom and I homeschool my two teenage daughters. About: My entire life pretty much I've grown up around animals! I've had different rodent, and currently have 2 cats. The last 10ish years my family and I have cat/dog sat for multiple family members and friends. The last year I've cat sat for my neighbor multiple times. As far as regular work goes, I'm only doing part-time due to the limit on how many hours are being given. I work full-time 9:30am -6pm, Monday -Friday in York, Pa, so I limit my service area during the week to areas between York and New Oxford. I can serve a larger area such as Gettysburg and Dillsburg on weekends. I adhere carefully to client directions about medication, supervision, feeding, and exercise. I have experience administering insulin to diabetic dogs, giving medication (oral and rectal), to both cats and dogs. No request is to big or small! About: I’ve helped care for pets of my own and my family since I can remember. I adopted 2 dogs and 2 cats of my own almost 8 years ago now. I absolutely adore my fur babies and helping others care for theirs brings me so much joy. I also have now taken on chickens and fish as well, so I have a variety of experience. I’m currently a SAHM homeschooling my oldest and caring for my youngest. I enjoy animals of all kinds, they are my passion and would love to share that with others. Being a SAHM gives me more availability to do drop ins, walks, and care for critters. I have a fenced in yard, which is how I’ve always pottied my dogs, but I’m also happy to walk them on a leash, and have gone back and forth crating my own dog and am happy to do that as well.

“I am so very pleased with Cheryl and her furry family. Cheryl was very meticulous about assessing my dogs needs and care right from the start. My dog is quite skidish about new dogs, new environments and new people. This was no challenge for Cheryl. She was able to ease my dogs insecurities right away and allowed her 2 dogs time to meet our little girl on her terms and very cautiously. Cheryl was flexible with my drop off and pick up times and communicated with me throughout the entire stay with updates and photos. She also provided my dog with medications for her skin and gave us great feedback on how I may be able to better care for her allergies. Cheryl is a very responsible dog owner and it certainly carries into her ability to care for my dog as well. My dog was happy and stress free while in Cheryl's care and I will definitely be using her again! “Sam is such a wonderful dog lover and knew exactly what our dog Dublin is like and how to introduce him to other dogs. We didn't know this prior the drop off, but she had a few other dogs in different sizes, including her own dog, so it was wonderful for Dublin to be able to play with them and socialize. Her house has a huge fenced yard, surrounded by a woody area, which I think was perfect for Dublin. This is just a one-time boarding opportunity, as we were traveling through the area, but we'd certainly board our dog with ther again if we could.”
