About: I’ve taking care of pets my whole life. In High school I wanted to be a veterinarian so I got an internship at a local vet clinic. Did the internship for a couple of months then got a job taking care of the dogs in the kennel for boarding. I did that for about 3 1/2 years. I also have two dogs of my own! I work part time at a restaurant and I don’t really have a set day of when i’ll be available. Every schedule is different but I mostly work nights and available during the day. I have a fenced yard and two pups to keep your dog company. Also have two crates for a small to medium dog. thank you

Always so grateful when Victoria can walk our girl. She accepted a last minute walk when we unexpectedly needed to be out of town for the day. Bryce is always such a happy girl when she gets to hang out with Victoria and I know she is in safe hands.

About: I have taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember! I’ve grown up with big dogs for a while and was always relied on to take care of them when my parents went out of town or to take care of my friends/neighbors dogs when needed. I would play, feed, give medicine when needed, and bathe them. I’ve always been a dog person and I hope You can trust me to watch your babies!! I also am very experienced with cats and how to care for them as I have grown up with cats as a child. I’m currently a full time Student at UA, as well as working at WVUA23 part time. My schedule is pretty set for everyday though and rarely changes so I can make sure my visits fit your schedule needed and mine so there is no conflict! My oldest dog cooper is currently on a lot of medicine. I have been responsible a lot of times to make sure he gets his medicine needed daily and to make sure it is right. I also feed my dogs everyday for my parents and a lot of times take them out on walks for them or make sure they go outside and play. I make sure they ever feel lonely and always give them all the attention and love they need!

About: I’ve been pet sitting for family and friends for years. I have 2 dogs of my own I love dearly! I am good at walking, administering medicine, feedings on time and of course lots of cuddles! I currently work full time in Pascagoula from 7-5. I can do drop in visits if local during lunch or any other visits after 5. Weekends are mostly open to any schedule! With having 2 dogs of my own, I take health and safety seriously as I will your own. Our pets are our lives and I want to be an extension of that.

About: I have had dogs, sometimes multiple ones, all my life. I am an animal lover, and advocate, of all kinds of animals. I just lost my Maltese of 13 years old which traveled the world with me literally. I was only away from him for two nights his whole life, and that was bc he spent the night at the vets one night, and I spent the night at the hospital one night. He went everywhere with me. From restaurants to Walmart. If I went he went. I have no children, so he was my child. I will treat your baby with the same love, and care. I have a newly build house with an acre that is fenced in. So, if your dog is large and likes to run outside, it can. I also have a screened in back porch. You baby will be safe and loved in my home. I am retired and spend most of my time at home. So your dog will be supervised, as per hour request. I am flexible and will listen to the owners request, as much as possible. I have a fenced in acre of land. I also have a screen in back porch. If you have small dogs, they can run freely, and I would stay outside to watch them. If you have large dogs they can stay out all they want. Dogs love me! They know if you are of good character, or not.

About: Hi there! I’m Charlie — the heart behind Delta Dog Co., here in Mobile, Alabama. Dogs have been one of my greatest passions for as long as I can remember, and caring for them isn’t just a job for me — it’s a calling. I’ve worked in both kennel and veterinary environments, gaining hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments. Over the years, I’ve developed a deep understanding of canine behavior, training, and communication — especially with working, sporting, and gun dog breeds. I’m trained in canine CPR, experienced in medication administration, and comfortable handling everything from high-energy pups to senior dogs needing gentle care. Whether it’s playtime, structure, or comfort, I tailor each dog’s experience to their unique personality and needs. I currently operate Delta Dog Co. and work as a delivery driver on the side, so I have a flexible schedule built around pet care. I’m available for boarding, daycare, walks, drop-ins, and training throughout the week. Dogs in my care are never left unattended for more than 2-4 hours. Your dog will always have reliable, consistent care and a routine that keeps them happy, safe, and comfortable. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a secure, clean, and relaxed home environment where every dog is treated like family. I have experience working in kennel and veterinary settings, so I know how to handle dogs of all temperaments and ensure their wellbeing at all times. Dogs in my care are always supervised during playtime and outdoor activities, and they’re never left unattended for long periods. I’m trained in canine CPR and skilled at reading body language, managing group dynamics, and preventing stress or conflict before it happens. Whether your dog is here for boarding, daycare, or training, they’ll enjoy a safe, structured, and loving environment that feels like a second home.

About: Hi! I'm an animal lover with 2 years of pet sitting experience, along with all necessary certifications working with animals. All I need is a chance to express that I can be a patient, sensitive, and reliable pet caregiver. I currently have full time availability to pet sit your pet(s)! Please reach out ahead of time for upcoming holidays. My goal is to become a full time pet sitter w my own pet sitting business. *Indoors in my home I can assure that any harmful items will not be in sight, I don't have children nor do I have pets of my own at the moment, and I'm pretty neat. Front and patio door remains closed and locked unless going out with the pet. There is central cooling, of course there's going to be playtime indoors and outdoors, and soon I can provide extra pet supplies, but do feel free to bring your own. *Indoors in your home will be the same and I will apply your preferred schedule/routine while you're away! I believe in respecting other people's home, so if I make a mess, I'm cleaning up after myself! Also security of the home is important to me, so I do prefer to be knowledgeable of your home security system if you have one. Outdoors/ In Vehicle Leashes will be used as it is required by local guidelines, I prefer to take your pet out early mornings or evenings (7:00p.m) for potty time, but if you request them to be taken out a time of day where the sun is scorching hot, I will keep the out time very short. Feeding bowls or trays will be brought in my vehicle once I purchase another one, so your pet(s) can have nutrition on the go too!

About: I’ve had animals my entire life and currently have two German Shepherds, Bella and Enzo, whom I’ve personally trained in basic obedience using patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement. Caring for them has given me experience with energetic, intelligent dogs and the importance of maintaining a consistent routine. As a music educator, I’m dependable, patient, and attentive to detail—qualities that naturally carry over into how I care for pets. I’m comfortable with active, high-energy dogs as well as those who need a slower pace or extra attention. My goal is to treat every pet like family, providing reliable, loving care so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. As an educator currently pursuing another degree, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate quality time and attention to the pets in my care. I’m also an early bird, so morning walks, feedings, and potty breaks are already part of my day. I have an established daily routine with my own two dogs that I can easily incorporate into caring for your pet, ensuring they receive consistent attention, exercise, and care. I intentionally keep my schedule organized so I can provide dependable care while keeping you updated and giving you peace of mind while you’re away. I focus on providing care that keeps your pet comfortable by maintaining their normal routine in the environment they know best. Whether I’m house sitting, stopping by for drop-in visits, or taking your dog on a walk, I’ll follow your instructions for feeding, exercise, medications (if needed), playtime, and any special routines your pet is used to. As a pet owner myself, I treat every pet the way I would want someone to care for my own two dogs—with patience, kindness, and genuine attention. I believe trust is the foundation of every relationship between a pet sitter, a pet, and their owner. My goal is to earn that trust by providing dependable care, respecting your home, and keeping you updated with photos and messages so you always have peace of mind while you’re away.

About: I have always had pets of my own my entire life. I am also the go to dog walker, kitty sitter, and fish feeder in my neighborhood. With my medical skills ( with specific instruction from you) I can administer pills and medications as needed. I am highly responsible and will treat your fur babies with much love and follow your routines to keep them happy. I am happy to take them for many walks and play as much ball as they would like:) As a homeowner and pet owner myself. I can appreciate also that leaving your pets in the care of a stranger can be nerve wracking. I will treat your home and pets with the same care and respect I give mine. Since I’m retired, I have the flexibility and availability to give your pets the attention, companionship, and care they deserve throughout the day. Whether your dog loves playtime, walks, cuddles or simply having someone nearby. I will make sure they feel comfortable and cared for as if they were my own. Your pup will be treated like family in my home. I have a large fenced-in yard for safe playtime, they are welcome to my entire home—no being confined to a kennel unless that’s what they are used to and prefer. They will always be treated like one of my own 🐾 ❤️

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Big Point. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Big Point.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Big Point. On Rover:

  • 94% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 100% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
