About: I’ve always had pets as my best friends! I grew up with my two dogs, a golden retriever and an Australian shepherd, have had three cats, one who had a litter and I helped watch over her and her kittens, and I have raised chicks many times with my family. I’ve had many pet sitting gigs for family friends and know great trail systems that are good for walking and safe from roads. I love animals and would love to help take care of yours!! I am currently a senior in high school and so I am in class from 7:50-2:20 every week day until June 12th but am available any other time of day! I enjoy taking pets for regular walks throughout the day on safe trail systems, some where they can run off leash without worry of cars or many other people or animals, and am used to keeping them on a timely schedule with meals because I do that for my dogs. I love to play games like fetch or tug-a-war with them to help get all their fun energy out and cuddle them after when they’re tired!

About: I grew up in a household taking care of many different types of animals. Dogs, cats, reptiles, rodents, caged birds, as well as livestock such as chickens, various fowl and goats. My dog walking and sitting experience includes caring many rescues since I was a small child. My calf demeanor and gentle presence works well with all breeds, and I have the patience and experience required to work with energetic and challenging animals. Understanding how dogs communicate and express various emotions is a key part of being a good caretaker. I am a touring bluegrass musician, but have plenty of home time. “Bridgette kept my cat company for four days and did a great job. Simba is normally very aloof and leery of strangers but even when Bridgette came over to meet us before my trip he was quite comfortable with her. During the stay, from the photos and notes Bridgette sent me, I could see that he warmed up to Bridgette immediately. A huge bonus was that Bridgette watered a few of my house plants and left my house exactly as I’d left it. The next time I travel I hope Bridgette will be available!”
