In order to go on a trip I needed to find someone who understands dog language, and was willing to take the time to get to know him. That's Maria 100%! She was patient with his fears (sometimes leaves are scary!) and sent me so many updates. She respected his boundaries while encouraging him to be social. It took him no time at all to be comfortable with her. I was legitimately impressed with how soon I saw him curled up with her. He jumped on the couch for cuddles, and was made comfortable in his bed with extra blankets. I could tell on her updates how much love she was giving little Clark. I've never been so comfortable with someone watching him! I just picked him up and he was snoozing on the couch, not a care in the world. She has my highest recommendation. People with dogs who need a little extra TLC would do well to have her watch them. They're in the best of hands! 20/10, I honestly cannot recommend her enough!!”

About: I have been an animal lover all of my life, and was raised with 5 huskies. Since then, I’ve had a variety of animals, including a salamander, chinchillas, ferrets, dogs, cats, and hamsters. I'm looking for clients who will not mind if my son tags along for a visit or a walk, and an excuse to get us both out of the house (walking is a bonus!). I have experience working as a dog trainer with shelter and rescue dogs, so difficult behaviors are no issue! I would love to take care of your fur babies as if they were my own! I currently work 3 days a week and have availability Fridays thru Mondays to help care for your critters while you take weekend getaways :) I treat a client’s home with respect, and do my very best follow routines as closely to what you do as I can. My goal is to provide safe, secure care thag you can rely on.
