“Laura is amazing with my pooches! Could not recommend more highly!!!!!!”

About: I’ve been taking care of many different animals since childhood and I am a new attending student of NC State University to become a veterinarian and to expand my knowledge to help all creatures I can! Pet care fits into my lifestyle because it is helping to give me more hands on experience and unexpected emergencies while attending veterinary school learning. I have a fenced in back yard my 3 dogs run the yard and love it. My own pets eat twice a day unless they obviously what more, same with my 3 cats. All my pets get along and love each other very much.

About: I will love your dog or cat as if they were my own. I have fostered and volunteered with local rescues and have probably fostered around 40 dogs and cats in my life time. I am able to help soothe nervous pets and start working on commands. I don’t mind taking “reactive” dogs, just let me know that they are “reactive” so I can best prepare. I have had several fosters that had a bite record but by the end of their stay with me they were a completely different pup as they began to trust the world again. I honestly like fur babies more than most people. There are no children in my home and I have a Chi Pug Mix and Husky, both submissive. I do work full time week day schedules are as follows: Leave home at 7:15 am Return on my lunch to let dogs out/provide enrichment 12:15pm-1pm Return home for the day at 5pm Unless volunteering (will be scheduled around boarding/day care) I’m am home at least 75% of the time on weekends and evenings. I have a large fenced back yard and have baby gates for additional separation/in case your pup is a runner when doors are opened (please let me know if this is the case). I also have a “office” where 1/2 is set up for dogs that need separation as well as two additional separate spaces should the pup need to be separated. I will treat your furbaby as if it is my own and I’m definitely a helicopter dog mom where safety is my number one priority.

“Chelsea was AMAZING! Our dog absolutely loved her ;) This was our first time ever hiring a sitter for our elderly guy & we were a bit nervous, but she quickly put us at ease with all the attention she gave him (and us) while we were away. We will be rehiring her on a regular basis and highly recommend her to anyone. Thank you again & again Chelsea for being so amazing with Rugby!”

About: I have always had dogs growing up, from Chihuahuas to Great Danes. They are a huge part of my life. I always treat them like they are family, not like they are an animal. I volunteer for a rescue and find dogs good homes for the rescue. I am always available! I will help train your dog/puppy if needed, just let me know! If you have a long haired breed, I can brush out their coat and get out matted parts. I will also give your dogs baths if you request it! If there are any allergies your pet has or things that they do not like, please let me know! I want them to have the absolute best time while in my care! I also organize the North Carolina fosters and dogs for a rescue based in Maryland. Thank you and I hope to meet you and your furry family member soon!

“Jennifer has helped watch my dog Sassy several times. Sassy is a border collie and husky mix so she needs a lot of attention and outside time. I am in the military so there are many times that I need to leave for months at a time and Jennifer was able to watch my dog while I was gone. She kept a feeding schedule, made sure my house was not messed up while I was gone, and I haven't had an issue with her at all. I think that she would be a good fit to take care of anyone's pet while they are away.”

MaryBeth does a great job of giving my senior girl everything she needs from extra bathroom breaks to her rather complicated feeding and meds schedule. My other dogs are rowdy and young and love to play. MaryBeth makes sure the get to run and play fetch everyday. She also sticks to their training routine so that they dont regress while I'm away. Everytime I leave town I know that when I come home my house will be in order and my animals will be happy. Even my cat loves MaryBeth!”

Allie H.
Star Sitter

“When it comes to our dog, we are very specific who watches her. I met Allie awhile back and I immediately loved her. We had to take a trip for a week and she kept our baby girl while we were gone and spoiled her. She was so good to her and got all the love. (because she’s high maintenance) but Allie made sure she was taken care of. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to be so good to her like I trust Allie.”

arianna g.
“Arianna is great with dogs! She clearly has tons of experience providing care for dogs, so I trust her with my fur babies. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a dog sitter, or just someone to walk their dogs when necessary.”

“Jordan is awesome! I never have to worry about my dog when she’s scheduled for a walk. He’s immensely taken care of along with our cat, who she also pets and gives so much love to. Couldn’t ask for someone better!”

Megan K.
“I can’t say enough good things about Megan and the incredible care they give my dog! From the moment we met, it was clear how much they truly love animals. My pup is usually shy around new people, but they warmed up to Megan instantly—which says a lot.”

Mary M.
“Mary is great with animals. My 4 dogs love her and are very comfortable with her. You can see her love for animals by the way the react to her!”

Brittany D.
“Brittney has been the family animal caregiver since she was little. She’s always volunteered to take care of all the animals while people are out of town. She’s very detailed and updates with any and everything that goes on while the animals are in her care.”
