About: Hi there! My name is Dawn - I've always had cats for as long as I can remember. Over the years I've had 4 cats, I've volunteered at a few cat shelters including Ferndale Catfe and Petco. I've also fostered cats for Rosie's Kitty Catfe and I'm currently fostering for Precious Pet League. As someone who loves to travel I understand how much you will miss your pet while on vacation- knowing your pet is being well cared for and getting updates puts you and your pet more at ease. I would love to provide your cat (or small dog) the same level of care I would want for my cats while away. I also had rats growing up and would love to stop in to care for your rats, ferrets or other rodent pet. I'm a stay at home wife and have plenty of time to come to your home for proper care including play time with pictures and/or videos. My phone takes some good pictures! 🤳🏼🐈 In your home I will be there to feed, check that they have enough water, treats at your discretion and I will do my best to ensure your cat is comfortable. Daily photos and videos will be provided. I understand that sometimes cats need a bit more time to be reassured you're a safe person. I like to use Churu treats and/or catnip for cats who are a bit more shy- if your cat wants space from me I will respect that and try to provide a soothing and calm presence. Please let me know if there is anything particular that will make YOUR pet feel the most comfortable and I'll be happy to accommodate their unique needs. ---- I'm currently not offering boarding due to having a foster cat. When space opens up I will be able to take your cat for long term boarding - your cat will have his or her own guest room and if boarding is long term slow introductions to my cats will be done so your cat can be socialized and given access to the rest of the house. We have experience with successful slow introductions. I want your cat to feel at ease while you're traveling.

About: I have taken care of all ages, but my specialty is seniors. I am great with furry friends that love a strict schedule as well as those that go with the flow. I am great at hiding icky medicine in their favorite foods. I am also active and would love to go on walks or play fetch with the energetic babies. I truly enjoy pet care, and at this time I am available on the weekends and an odd Friday. I am able to pop in for check-ins and potty breaks or stay full time. I am great at following instructions for your pets care. I always clean up after watching fur babies and try to leave the place better than I found it. I bring my own food most often as well.

About: I have been relied on by my friends and relatives to take care of their dogs for 15 years. They have trusted me to watch their home and their dogs when they need someone. I have some experience administering oral medicine (pills) to dogs. Currently, I am available most times and days for pet care. Tuesdays and Thursdays I am possibly not available from about 11:30am-2:30pm because I walk my sister's puppy then, but it is only when she needs me. I will happily visit or stay at your home to care for your pet. I am great at following directions and will happily do whatever you need me to do to care for your pet how you want me to or how your pet is used to being cared for.

About: I’ve been surrounded by pets since I was a child, including dogs, cats, and even a turtle. so caring for animals has always been second nature to me. Currently, I have four dogs and a cat of my own, which has taught me how to manage different personalities, energy levels, and care needs all at once. I have hands-on experience with everything from training energetic puppies to providing gentle, attentive care for senior pets. I understand how to read animal body language, create a calm and safe environment, and give each pet the individual attention they deserve. Currently I am in school to become a EMT so I have class Tuesday, Thursday, and every other Friday until 5 o’clock, I’m looking to do this on the side of a full-time EMT job. EMTs don’t work your normal mon-fri 9-5 they are sporadic and only 10 days out of the month so I’ll have plenty of free time to give your pets the care they need :) I follow any specific routines or instructions provided by the owner, whether it’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications, or crate time to keep things as consistent as possible. I know how important it is for pets to stick to their usual routine, especially when their owner is away. I make sure they get plenty of love, attention, and supervision while respecting the client’s space. I’m clean, responsible, and always treat someone else’s home the way I would want mine to be treated. Whether it’s a quick drop-in visit or an overnight stay, I focus on making the pets feel secure and cared for while giving owners peace of mind.

About: Growing up on a farm we always had animals. Horses, cows, chickens, dogs, cats. I have been around all breeds of all animals! I have relatives and close friends who would rely on me to take care of their farm animals and house animals while they were away! I currently work at Boot Barn in Lake Orion so I try to keep my bookings in between Romeo and Auburn Hills. I prefer not to stay overnights but can do late night and early morning check ins, if it is needed I am available to stay it’s just not preferred! I’m pretty flexible all around. Although it would not be preferred I can host animals at my house. I don’t have a lot of yard space but we do a lot of walks around our neighborhood! I’m someone you can trust to follow the rules of your home and pets! I’m an active person myself so I do enjoy talking walks or runs while having a furry friend with me!

About: I have lived with cats and dogs since birth and overall find animals great company. I have experience working with special needs pets as my cat has a brain injury and suffers from grand mal seizures. I am open to caring for all animals, including reptiles, birds, and rodents - there aren't any pets that put me off! I am open to learning any and all special care needs your animals have.
